The self-contained studio bungalow was beautifully presented, clean and cosy with plenty of space, lovely linen, furnishings and fittings plus breakfast/meal provisions which were outstanding. The kitchenette was functional and very clean with nice crockery and utensils. The bed was super comfy and the area was very quiet with only bird calls to break the silence. Postion-wise it was very well located. If necessary was walking distance to the train station, main shopping centre and several hotels. Also quite close to Lake Benalla and all the associated activities at the Art Gallery and botanical gardens. Sue greeted me and was a pleasant and unobtrusive host. Highly recommended.

Very clean and comfortable and the owner was friendly. Breakfast was nice, especially the local bread.

From the photo displayed in the advertisement, I thought I was booking a federation-style unit a part of an older building or beside it. It appears I misread the photo. However, it was a modern unit built at the back of a renovated federation-style home and other units. Access down a laneway to our unit was narrow and although we managed bigger vehicles may have an issue.

This property is exceptional. We were made to feel so welcome. The accommodation is outstanding and beautifully furnished. The owner added so many extra touches that made this place very special - including a bottle of wine and cheese and crackers, which were very welcome after a long day on the road. Beautiful and plentiful breakfast foods. This is a real gem!

Beautiful cottage out the back of the property. Great breakfast and snacks everything that you could need in a little private cottage. Could stay a weekend or a week. It had everything we needed as well as being wheelie walker accessible for my Nanna. Easy check-in and check-out and was very clean. Very enjoyable stay and would stay again next time I travel to Benalla.

Just the narrow drive way but as our trip went on found it was very common in Victoria that they have small lane ways.

Amazing price! Early check-in, fabulous extra bonus check- out time, thoughtful extras, perfect breakfast & scrummy eats. The decor-garden & surrounds were beautiful & plentiful-Sue congratulations on a most gorgeous setting. Your accomodation is stunning & very comfortable & we were so pleasantly surprised. We were sad to leave. You won't be disappointed-well worth a stay in the secret accomodation behind the high fence. Truly delightful!

Lovely ambience and decor in the studio apartment. The area was bigger than I thought it would be. Very well stocked with continental breakfast offerings (choice of cereals, bread, fresh fruit options, yoghurt, breakfast spreads eg butter, vegemite, peanut butter, honey etc) plus bottle of wine on arrival with soft cheese and crackers - very welcoming - and truly pet friendly! When staying next time will book the apartment in the house as this came with a fenced, secure yard. Luckily our friends were staying here so Vincent (our dog) was able to access this and be off leash. Sue greeted us on arrival and was lovely! Highly recommend!!

Everything was wonderful - very comfortable bed and pillows, great location, quiet and peaceful, clean and spacious. Beautifully decorated. Very, very, very minor thing - I couldn't find a sponge / chux to wipe down the bench tops but the vacuum cleaner was fully charged and worked a treat on the carpet! Thank you for letting us stay and for welcoming Vincent (our dog) !

We had the studio. The accommodation was comfortable and super clean. Convenient off road parking. Really appreciate that our dog was allowed to join (there are parks at the nearby lake for a decent walk). The location is very quiet. Ample breakfast supplies provided.

Personally I prefer a firmer mattrass (although it certainly wasn't bad). The bread provided was not my favourite (shops are just a short walk away for additional supplies and barista coffee).

What did we like?, well everything, and mostly Sue our host who is a lovely lady and provided everything we could possibly need. Location great, peaceful, quiet and tranquil property with a beautiful garden. Very classy and tasteful decor in the studio with comfortable bed and clean luxurious linen. Fresh bakery bread and spreads for breakfast with a pod coffee machine - as soon as we arrived, we felt spoilt, relaxed and at home.

There was nothing we didn't like. For us, it was perfect.

We liked the decor and comfort. The room and furnishings were new, well-maintained and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The room was quiet and secluded at the back of the property. The accommodation was centrally located in Benalla. The bottle of wine was a nice touch. Our host was friendly and very welcoming.

The breakfast was acceptable but the condiments could have been a bit better quality rather than basic Kraft small containers. The cereals such as Nutragrain, Just Right and the toasted muesli do contain a fair bit of sugar. Perhaps a low sugar alternative could have been supplied: eg Weetbix and a low sugar non-toasted muesli.

A lovely host greeted us and showed us to our beautiful private accommodation located in the garden of the property. It was spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed, lovely fittings and furniture, with wine, cheese and continental breakfast provided. The bathroom and bedroom are large and well maintained and there is a couch, t.v and table and chairs for relaxing. The kitchenette provides space to make breakfast with a toaster, jug, microwave and fridge provided. The property is walking distance from the train station and the Main Street, although we didn’t use the shops as we ordered take away for dinner.
