The room was scrupulously clean. The bed was reasonably comfortable, and there were tea and coffee facilities, including bikkies!

The pillows were old, flat and a tad smelly. Parking was free, but tight.

The location is a couple of minutes walk to the city centre, where there are plenty of cafés and restaurants, and a couple extra minutes walk to the boardwalk along the Ovens river with more restaurants and bars. The room was very clean and suited what we needed perfectly. Check in and out was very easy, staff were very easy going and friendly.

My partner thought the bed was a little hard for her liking, there was an extra bed in the room that was much more to her liking. I agree that the mattress was on the firm side, but not something I had an issue with.

Location was superb, The CBD was just metres away and Aldi for anything you might need is just around the corner in the opposite direction. Everything is within walking distance, take-aways, restaurants, shops, Art Gallery, Cathedrals and parks.The room was well equipped with microwave, toaster, kettle, cutlery and dishes. Wi-fi was excellent. We only needed to use our car once during our visit and that was to visit an old friend out of town.

Although the bed was reasonably comfortable, we both prefer a firmer bed without a dip in the middle, but it's only for two nights so no problem. Other than that, we were suprised at work starting next door at 7:30 am with what sounded like concrete grinding...not a good wake up call. Next morning, at the same time, it was someone using a very noisy leaf blower. If this happens every morning, I would not be a happy guest. Would like to think that it was only the two mornings we were there!

It was very central but far enough off the main street to not be bothered by passing traffic. There was a large choice of eating establishments nearby as well as the main shopping area and parkland. The staff member who booked me in was very friendly, professional and helpful. It was a clean and comfortable place to stay.

The establishment looks a little dated but it is well maintained with obvious upgrades such as air conditioning. The parking area inside is a little cramped but still adequate. There is metered parking in the street outside during business hours which is understandable considering it is so central.

The location was central in Wangaratta, close to shops, but also very private and quiet. The Manager was welcoming, friendly, thoughtful and kind. The Motel was extremely clean, and although older, very well kept and presented. Although travelling alone, I felt very safe. For a stay on a budget, this property exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be back.

Not having an allocated car park directly outside my room, although my car was only a few spaces away.

great location, great price, friendly. we stayed in room 10 this trip and it was nice with the back views of the park and the floors inside were nice with lino unlike when we stayed in room 1 last time which was carpeted and outdated. Would be happy with we get room 10 again in future. also great place if you are travelling with your fur baby.

the beds feel like they are 60 years old, if you tall like me at 6’1 the double beds are just too small. the air conditioner didn’t work all that good but the fan on the wall was the hero on the warm night. bigger bins for rubbish would have been nice as they really too small for more then a couple items.

We ended up with car trouble and made it to the hotel with no car very late. The staff were accommodating and understanding when we had to check out the helped us as much as possible while we tried to figure out how to get home. The beds were comfy. The room small but enough room for us all and clean.

If we had a car we did not have room to park in the carpark as everyone had a large car in a small car park.

The bed was so comfortable, and made to perfection, and the shower was nice and hot with a snake instead of a fixed shower head connection on to the wall I also had all the apps for internet streaming, my room was well worth the price0

The rooms are quite small but the motel has been the for a very long time 60 + years. The rooms have a old style bar heater mounted high up on the wall, which does work very well, the decor is very nice. The couple who run this motel make you feel right at home I will stay here many times ⏲️ 😌

Some renovations have been done to bring a slightly more modern feel to the room with laminate flooring and new tiles and vanity in the bathroom. Was comfortable enough for a one night stay.

The floors weren't cleaned properly leaving my feet dusty a d gritty getting ready for bed. Also the kettle was disgusting I wiped my finger inside to see if it was just browned plastic and brown powery dust came off onto my finger, I did not feel comfortable boiling water in it to make my tea or coffee.

Bed was comfortable (double), room was very clean. In a very quiet location even though close to main street. Had microwave and toaster however nowhere to wash dishes. I would definitely stay again.

Parking can be a little awkward especially if people do not park properly within the parking bay. We went out in the evening and came back but ended up parking out in the street which was fine. Brighter lighting in the bathroom would be great.
