Very disappointed by the surprise $240 bond on top of accomodation charges on arrival. We have stayed at major city hotels around the country & serviced apartments who only record your card details (as common practice) to cover any extra charges. Charging a bond is over the top, especially when it takes a few days for a refund. Additionally, charging guests $20 for a carpark (in a rural location) is also a bit excessive, considering the cost of an overnight stay. A pity, it is a good venue otherwise.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from Wangaratta as I had never been. Quest is located a four minute walk from the train station and a two minute walk to the venue I needed to attend the following day. Great spot for an out of towner making a short visit. The room was spacious, clean, and well stocked. Staff were friendly.

Nothing! This isn’t even a major thing, but the room had a waterfall shower which was lovely, but I would have loved a shower cap so I could avoid getting my hair wet.

ICE…unbelievable…ice trays and box provided…not an ounce of ice to be had!! No ice had been made…if these facilities are provided they should be able to be utilised!! On request at the desk for some ice….was told to go to Woolworths to buy some!!! At $400 odd a night I would assume it a given! Also searched, without joy, for a chopping board to slice our sourdough. Had to do it on the benchtop. Hallelujah…washing up before we left found it under the tea towel and detergent…very random…WHO would think to look there for a chopping board!!?? Apart from that…enjoyed our stay…please rectify the ice problem…make sure they are filled when servicing the room…if not…we won’t be staying en route to Melbourne again…. Wonderful property, beautifully appointed, excellent location, well setup for couples to stay for a few nights, plenty of room, clean, quiet, great view of nearby church, superb gardens, easy to use parking, close to walk to cafes and Wangaratta. Easy to heat/cool with two AC units (not that we used either). Blockout blinds. Gorgeous bathroom. Highly recommended and will stay here again.

The Quest is a very modern hotel, with the standard and features being better than I would expect in a small town like Wangaratta. The room is a generous size, the bathroom is neat and modern, and the bed was great. A real bonus for me was having access to secure parking - I was travelling to Hobart bringing a car home and I was very happy to have somewhere safe to park. The Hotel was very easy to find, and is only a short walk to the local cafe's, etc.

Nothing - I had a great stay!

clean, comfortable, spacious, a large bathroom with soap dispensers (less small packaging!). Good wifi, smart TV, comfortable bed. Enjoyed the kitchen, able to cook my meals - the studio had a stovetop, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and main utensils, plates, bowls and crockery.

Just be aware parking is paid $20/day. If just overnight, there are a lot of free street parking around.

Great location next door to a Dan Murphys and Woolworths which made stocking up on supplies easy. The room was a little basic compared to other hotels we stayed in in Victoria. The room needed a little dusting round the lamps and bedside tables. Towels were fluffy, white and clean. Very quiet. Easy parking over the road. A short drive to the Local RSL Club for delicious reasonably priced food and drinks.

Nice apartments, very clean and modern and spacious especially with a family.

The only issue we had was with the amenities - No one had double checked the shower amenities (body wash etc.) were full - we came back to the room quite late after attending a funeral and they were completely empty in both showers! Due to the late hour there was no one onsite to assist with providing more.

The only downer on the stay was the suprise $20 per day parking rate after booking the accommodation, and the fact that the courier newspaper office shined their floodlights into our room every night. The accommodation was clean, perfect location and we would definitely recommend it. We will definitely stay here again.

Have never stayed at a Quest or any other hotel apart from Crown Melbourne and been expected to pay a $250 bond. A large amount of money for a family to pay for an overnight stay. Then parking on site is an extra $20.00. We just parked on the street, which was fine, but $421.00 plus a $250 bond for one night stay is fairly steep and double the price compared to most other hotels in the town.
