Comfortable bed, spacious room

Having to pay two days prior to arrival. Nothing else available in my budget at the time I stayed otherwise I would have booked elsewhere. Tiny bathroom - unable to use my portable shower chair because it wouldn't fit in the shower. Having the manager/owner pester me with phone calls about when I was arriving. I gave an estimate via Booking.com but wasn't sure. When I arrived reception was closed despite the hours stated on the office door as being later than when I arrived. I received a text message telling me my key was under the mat. This was because she needed to go for her daily walk. When she got back there she was knocking at my door asking whether I had found the key. Given that I was in the room I would have thought that was obvious. Really intrusive and unnecessary behaviour.

Great location which is walking distance into town. Room was clean with everything we needed. Large screen tv. Great shower.

One small issue could have been the parking availability and each bay not specifically allocated to a particular room. This meant we couldn’t park outside our room. The owner offered witches hats to mark our bay as taken if we went out with the car. Also didn’t like the hand basin being located in the sleeping area and not in the bathroom.

The room was neat, clean, quiet and comfortable.

It must have been a busy night in Horsham as there were very few rooms available. We picked this one as it was the closest to town at the best price remaining but if I had the choice I would stay somewhere closer to the top of town at a lower price.

Whilst they are simple motel units the level of cleanliness is amazing. Our room had all we needed for o/n stay. Large bathroom, strong hot water, good reading lights, enough room to spread out and a Tv that works and comfortable bed and without any fancy throws and pillows, extra blankets and pillows if needed. Great little motel.

Clean, quiet and conveniently located. The owner was lovely. This is the second time we have stayed and she is always so lovely, down to earth and kind.

Not really a dislike but there is no vanity in the bathroom. You have to brush your teeth etc out in the main “kitchen” area.

Good location close to cafes, restaurants, shopping area, very friendly and helpful reception person who reserved us a parking spot by using traffic cones to avoid that other guests used our reserved place - a wonderful service idea! Room was well equipped, a bit dated, very clean. Reception lady offered us a larger room that was pre-heated prior to our arrival. Can only praise this service on a cold afternoon arrival!

Bathroom, not heated, had only shower facility and toilet but no washing basin; that was located in bedroom, breakfast in room only

Hotel was clean and good facilities. Town was nice with good restaurants and shopping handy Friendly staff

Getting booked for doing 100 in a 500m long 80 zone at the big koala between Horsham and Stawell by the local coppers. Lesson learnt.

They are so friendly on arrival here, it is so comforting at the end of a very tiring drive - and great recommendations on local places to eat!

Someone kept smoking right outside my room, and so I had to put up with the smell of smoke which came into my unit

The reception when you arrive is so friendly and helpful and gives great recommendations on where to eat in town.

Someone kept smoking outside my door, which is where the table with the ash tray was located, but it made my room smell of cigarette smoke

The Motel was very clean and tidy, the owner was very friendly and chatty, made us feel very welcome, and the Motel was situated in a good spot, walking distance to restaurants and cafes.

There was nothing to complain about, except when it started to rain on a Sunday night and the courtesy bus wasn't running.
