Amber is a fantastic host, so friendly and helpful, making it an absolute pleasure to stay at her B&B. There were so many special touches, such as giving my partner a bottle of fortified wine for his birthday and providing us with some sweet slice on arrival in our room, that made our stay very memorable. Breakfast options were plentiful and so yummy. The muscat in the lounge is a must try. The beautiful cheese platter and wine were a lovely touch too. The bed is one of the comfiest I've ever slept on. The location next to the two best restaurants in town is a certain bonus. Amber also had some great recommendations for places to visit in the area which was great! Will definitely recommend to others to stay here.

While not viewed as a negative the only two things I could find for improvement is a larger shower head and more bench space to store toiletries in the bathroom. Otherwise everything else was fabulous!

This historic property is amazing. The rooms are beautiful and spotless and the little extra touches in the rooms make the stay extra special. The breakfasts were delicious.

There was absolutely nothing we didn’t love about Amberesque

Beautifully appointed, central location, delicious and generous breakfast, warm and friendly host, with ‘bonus features’ such as the option of a cheese platter or a glass of muscat after dinner.

Great breakfast, Amber is a very accommodating and generous host. Right in town, parking around the back, all very easy. It was once a bank with high ceilings and the old walk in safe is still there.

The entire expereince at Amberesque is amazing. the building is jaw dropping, the rooms are fantasitc and the breakfast is to die for. We love this place so much and would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to visit Rutherglen. Amber is a great host and makes sure that everything is to your liking and is a wealth of knowledge for anything local you may want to know about or visit.

Amber was the perfect host. The building was spectacular and our room was very spacious and had everything we needed and more. the breakfast selection was unreal and all homemade. we will definitely be back

Great location in the centre of Rutherglen. The owners have thought of everything that their guests may need and it is there waiting for you. Beautiful cooked breakfasts in the morning and a Cheese Platter and a bottle of Wine waiting for you at night. The rooms are beautifully styled and are so spacious.

We liked everything about our stay. The little extra's included were/are very thoughtful and made us feel special and welcome. Breakfast was delicious with a good choice of items to include with a themed breakfast of the day. If you read this Amber .... thank you!
