It was one of the best hotel stays we ever had as a family overall and certainly best value for money. I loved la belle epoque vibe, it was great to have childcare and swimming pool right there. We were lucky with the weather, so only used both a little bit, but I could well imagine this being a holiday saviour if it rains. Breakfast was really nice, we also tried the dinner a couple of times, and it was great too. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. The hotel is simply really well run and perfectly organised, so it provides an amazing value for money. It is also amazingly well located and has entrances both in the city centre and close to the railway/cable car.

I can't really think of anything. Maybe the kitchen in the room wasn't too inviting for cooking something substantial, but it was still enough for many simple things and we loved having it.

The hotel is located in a great location, close to all attractions and ski lifts. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. The food in the restaurant is good and the welnes is also ok. In general, the hotel is good

The hotel has big problems with parking. If you want paid parking, it is not available because it is full. Free parking is far from the hotel and it is difficult to find a free place in the afternoon. There is a parking lot next to the hotel, which is intended only for a short stop of half an hour. The hotel also has a strange policy with changing towels and cleaning. You can get towels after 3 days and room cleaning after 6 days!? Very unusual, even the staff are surprised by it. The beds are extremely uncomfortable.

The scenery from the room was amazing. We had a panorama room which had a lovely balcony with seating for 4 people. The fully equipped kitchenette was great. The staff at reception were very helpful and friendly, as well as the great barman. The rooms were very spacious and clean.

The hotel is an amalgamation of multiple buildings connected by glass corridors. This made finding your room a bit challenging :) Bad Gastein in the summer is a beautiful place for hiking and bike riding, while Bad Hofgastein, next town, seems to have more shops, but don't expect them to be open on Saturday afternoons or Sundays.

Perfect location, very friendly staff, absolutely delicious food.

The only thing that I did not like at all was the hotel's cleaning policy. Absolute disaster. During my 8-day-long stay my room was cleaned only ONCE. More cleaning was only available for an extra charge. In a luxurious expensive hotel like Mondi I would expect to have my room cleaned every day. Instead I had to clean it myself.

Amazing breakfast, very attentive personnel, especially at the restaurant. Spacious rooms, very comfy bed, big bedroom. Good location. Definitely recommended.

The hotel is located down the hill, so I'd ypu are planning to go skiing, you need to go on a very steep hill to approach the gondolas. You better be in a decent shape, or take extra time for this part of the way. The pillows were a bit too flat, but the staff was so helpful that they gave us extras, so all in all it was fine.

The apartment was comfortable and good dinners. The bowling alley 😊

Spa area not so clean. In apartament they only change towels and took the garbage once in 7 days. Very limited and repetitive options at breakfast (for hot dishes we have daily omelette and ham, boiled eggs and alternative days some wursts or in one morning from 7 pancakes) for vegetarians only cold meals and exactly the same daily 🙃 we have much better breakfast options at 3 stars pensions… 😔

Apartment clean, fully equipped kitchen, balcony and view; towels changed every few days, the linen was not changed; the water from the pool is a bit cold and be aware of the (nude) sauna, valid for other thermal spa locations.

We were 3 families staying for 12 days in total. We have enjoyed each minute spent in the hotel. The ambiance, the comfort, the view. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Breakfasts and dinners were delicious. Plenty of activities for all ages (3 generations of our family). I would highly recommend free classic concerts in the concert hall of the neighboring Hotel Europa or on the nearby square.

The hotel was superb and exceptionally clean. Spa and sauna facilities were very well taken care of. Hotel personnel were very proactive and helpful. I would definitely come back and recommend the hotel. All in all a very pleasant stay at a beautiful location. The location of the hotel is also great - very close to hiking routes and spa.

Very good location, only few minutes walk from train station. Sensational view from your room balcony ( if you booked a good one). Staffs are freindly, they are happy to help you if you have any questions. They also have spa and swimming pool in the hotel, I really enjoyed it.

You need buy some drink water with you as they have no free water provided in your room. Check out at 10am in the morning, it is quite early.
