Rooms were spacious, the bartender in the taverna was very friendly. The hotel was unique and very interesting with the castle theme. They gave each guest a free drink for arrival and the breakfast was well stocked.

Our room was only cleaned once during 5 days. We could have been told on arrival about the guest card that gives free public transport and discounts. All check ins were after 3, which meant queues and waiting at reception, this could have been achieved with checkin earlier, but room allocation at 3. Hotel taxes should be charged at the start of the stay.

So if you want to stay in a Castle in the dead of winter in the Alps, this is a wonderful place! Check in was easy - and the reception staff spoke English (and Italian) and really do such an exceptional job in making you feel welcome! I would give any hotel that has such a team a 10 ranking just because they set the bar so high in all they do! Outstanding service adn professionalism too! The castle takes a bit to get orientated with - but in no time was able to find my room as well as the Finnish sauna. The room was super clean and very large -- and it was nice and cozy. Plenty of hot water for the shower in the morning - though late at night it was just warm. The bed was super soft! I liked the bar in the castle - its whole set up was very cool - and well worth stopping off there for a drink. They do have a very large spread for breakfast in the dining room. It is also a lot of fun looking through the castle itself and its history. All around great place to stay.

Distance is a thing when looking at the map it looks close to the train station. Actually it is -- but you go down the hill to get there. Highly recommend getting a Uber or Taxi to go back - it is not a fun hill to pull a bag up. Places to eat in the area were limited to only a few places open.

Exceptionally friendly and professional staff. Quirky hotel and it was lovely having breakfast with our dog on the outside patio. There was also a nice riverside walk just outside.

We were surprised to have to pay 9 Euros to park in the underground car park as all the exterior spaces were full. They did however give us a complementary welcome drink.

- Very old castle, which was interesting to walk around. - half board option worked well, and the food quality was decent every evening. - Very attentive and friendly staff. - They have supervised kids club on in the evening time for an hour, which my son was very happy about! - The pool area is great, and there's lots for kids to do around the hotel.

The room was very warm with no option to control temperature other than opening the window.

Nice and larger room, great breakfast and dinner buffets. Very friendly staff. Very nice and historical decoration on the premises building on the legacy of old castle. The swimming pool, sauna an sun bathing facilities were great. Fantastic location close to several sky lifts and hiking trails

The only inconvenient was the lack of air conditioning (we visited the hotel in the peak of a hot summer)

Very kindly staff. Swimming pool huge and very funny, with some water jokes. The room are clean The staff was very helpful but not intrusive. We will back!

Excellent food, very nice, helpful and professional staff. All was possible to arrange, all is oriented for guest satisfaction....

Only one small thing, to be honest: The bottom of the pool was not very clean but looks as coincidence status .... Rest of the hotel facilities was absolutely tidy and clean.

Breakfast excellent, different variety and stuff so helpful and competent Room Could have, when it s hot a ventilateur in the room. Pool the pool terrasse needs to be repaired a little bit

Very nice hotel, great dinner - wonderful menu! Clean and comfortable room - clean towels and bathrobe to wellness, good equipment, kind castle staff :) we recommend this place!! Satisfaction :)
