There is really nothing to fault with Hotel Grosslehen. The rooms are spacious, ultra clean, have ample storage and have sweeping views of the mountains. The dining room and public spaces are stylish, comfortable and welcoming. The breakfasts and meals are amazing in the hotel and were one of the many highlights of our stay. As a non-skier (of a couple), the relaxation and three sauna areas and a small gym were fantastic for having some ‘me’ time. The facilities are ultra clean, and the wellness area had amazing views and was well stocked with fruit, teas, and flavoured water. There are also amazing walks nearby and we were issued a free public transport system card that could get you anywhere in the area. My husband who is a skier was well catered for in that there was a shuttle bus (to and from the lift), ski and boots storage room and a vast expanse of ski runs for his playground. The staff and the owners are the best! Bettina, and Marcus have done a really fantastic job in providing the best hospitality they can. Everything was thought of for the guest to provide comfort, wellness and enjoyment. Bettina is the best host - so sweet, warm and kind and every so often checks on you to make sure that everything is right. There were little touches too that didn't go unnoticed i.e. a welcome drink and snack, a welcome card in the room, and lovely good-bye present. All of this enhanced our stay and we were made to feel like valued guests and not just a number. It was a lovely and memorable stay and we wholeheartedly recommend this hotel if you want to be pampered and looked after.

A more appropriate question about this family-run hotel would be: what's not to like there? My second stay there and it was simply excellent, even better than my first visit. A beautifully located place where you are greeted with genuine warmth by both the host family and the whole staff and you truly feel like a guest, not an anonymous tourist. That's a real game changer. Magnificent views, spot-on cleanliness, delicious cuisine that didn't even make me think of dining elsewhere. My favourite place in the Alps.

The location was absolutely amazing, the chalet was clean and served all our needs. The private sauna was just the cherry on top. It was like living in a fantasy tale.

We had a fantastic stay at the Grosslehen, immensely enjoying their superb facilities, exquisite cooking (and drinks!) and above all, the heart-felt hospitality of the Geisl family. We will not hesitate to recommend the Grosslehen, and look forward to our next stay.

Everything was absolutely fantastic, from food, great wellness and super helpful and nice staff.

Amazing place, great rooms, beautifully made surroundings,

- the hotel is not catering to not Austrians (example is the altholz - old wood) - the children from out house had 14 splinters and from the neighboring house (21) over less than 7 days - two visits to the hospital because of those splinters (one with kids and one with grown ups) and NOT EVEN a sign (despite everyone having the same problems) - the restaurant didn’t have food at 20.41 anymore - highly agressive (passive ) owner - during an accident after which a hospital had to be visited she was loudly explaining why it is not the hotels fault than nothing is marked vs. to help as the guest (her guest who paid 3.5k euro for 6 days) was in major pain
