Situated in a quiet area of town, the room was spotless and the bedding comfortable. Hostess was lovely and her homemade jams delicious. A friendly environment that allows one to relax in a home-like setting. Within a few minutes walk to the monetary and the downtown restaurants and shops.

The windows weren't blackout/no rolladen and the curtains hard to pull, one has to be careful to get them closed as they come loose at the top easily. The sliding glass bathroom door is a bit difficult also.

Pension Marillenhof was a lovely choice for our two nights stay in Melk. The location of the pension is great, only a short 10min walk from the old town. Staff was very friendly and attentive. The terrace on the top floor is also a lovely spot to relax after a day of walking in town. The room was well equipped, had all the neccesary amenities for a pension.

The room was incredibly cute 💚 with personal touches like a Mozart Chocolate on each pillow.

My only two suggestions would be: 1) A fan - the summer is really warm these days, so a fan or AC would be really appreciated 2) More pillows - the pillows of the bed were too soft, so for people who are used to sleeping with more firm pillows, that could be a bit uncomfortable

The perfect place for a good night rest. Highlights include a very straight forward and efficient check-in, reasonable pricing, excellent communication, but also a good quality accommodation equipped with everything one may need for a hassle free stay. Special diets incompatible with public eateries? This place has you covered with everything needed to be able to prepare your own food, except ingredients of course, but then the excellent billa supermarket is within walking distance.

I didn't yet have the time to stay there longer to explore the beautiful surroundings.

The room is cozy and comfortable. Breakfast si very good and divers. The location is near by the city center and the abbey. The area is very well known for the wine and apricot products. The host is very warm and friendly. If we visit again this area, we will book a room in Pension Marillenhof for sure

It was an absolute delight to stay at Bianca's place. The room was very cozy and comfortable. The host paid much attention to detail with fresh flowers in the room, extra blankets and a fully equipped bathroom. The breakfast, too, was amazing. Bianca and her family made us feel very welcome and we would love to stay there again next time we're in Melk.

The room was nice with lots of spaces to store items. The bed was comfortable and we appreciated the corner room windows, so that there was a cross breeze in the evening. There was free parking outside the pension. The city center, restaurants, and abbey were within ten minutes walking distance.

The shower leaked.

The landlady is very kind. The hotel is clean and quiet. There is breakfast, which is very convenient. Close to the monastery. To get to the pier you have to go through the center of town. There are two large supermarkets not far from the hotel, which is very convenient for buying food.

Lost my charger and I couldn’t have bought new one because of holiday and the owner just borrowed me her private for few hours to charge my phone. Very friendly and kind woman, not a single problem to communicate in English there.

Just a little downside is a space between the beds. Thought it would be one big bed, got two beds connected.

Very comfortable room, with nice view. Quiet surrounding, very close to city center. After day of sightseeing you can take a break on nice, large, very green patio. Good buffet breakfast, there was even home made apricot jam (excellent!). It's family business, very friendly and attentive.

Nothing which I would notice.
