We had a very pleasant stay. We loved the view from the room. The staff was really helpful and friendly. Very satisfied with the cleanliness of the hotel and the size of the room, perfect for our family of 4. Excellent location close to all the attractions. We walked to many things, but public transportation, taxis were also close by.

Old world charm , very good location to visit places of interest and tourist attractions within old city of Vienna . The decor is very reminiscent of the late 1800’s and early 1900 period . Staff were polite . It had a good selection for breakfast. The check-in person ( sounded Scottish) was very friendly ( we arrived very late at 03.15 hrs due to delayed flight )!

Floor boards were creaking in our room , plumbing of the bath needs attention as water doesn’t drain away quickly while taking showers ( your feet are in dirty water ). Housekeeping lady was a bit annoying knocking on our doors 15 minutes before checkout time! Refrigerator in the room was kept locked ( wonder why ?). The ironing board which was brought in on request looked dirty and we had to place towel on it prior to use.

The location is great. The building is fascinating as it breathes history and beauty of a golden age.

The furniture in the room and the bathroom amenities need some upgrading. The upholstery of the bed seemed really dirty.

I was impressed with this hotel. The building is beautiful. It is in front of a church, close to the university. I had a shower and a bathtub. Breakfast was varied and tasty. It includes breads, cheese, fruits, eggs, sausages, hams, sweets and vegan options. There is a restaurant in the hotel. Cake is great. The staff was excellent. Wifi worked perfectly.

The room has a coffee maker, not a kettle. You can get hot water with the coffee maker, but it will taste like coffee. I don't like coffee. It took me about 10 cups to get rid of the caffeine taste. The only tea available was a black tea, in a capsule. I had my own tea. The bed has no bedsheets, only the duvet. It was too hot to use the duvet, too cold to sleep without a cover. Not ideal.

The hotel is located about 30 minutes from the centre by walking but there is also a U-Bahn five minutes away, plus trams. The bar meals were good. Customer service was very good. All the staff we met lovely and attentive. Rooms were quiet and clean and comfortable. Interesting history and atmosphere.

Can't think of anything that would have improved my stay. Once away from the hotel , the combination of bicycles, trams and pedestrians using similar spaces is something that takes gettting used to! Mind how your go!

One of my favourite places i've ever stayed at is the Hotel Regina, it is a very obviously architecturally beautiful building like most in Vienna but inside lies such a unique hotel, where it feels more like an antique mansion home instead of a hotel with a beautiful statue & paintings that look like they belong in a museum, if you love old buildings with character over modern ones this is the perfect place to choose, despite its aesthetic appearance, the building is also extremely conveniently placed being located in pretty much the centre of vienna being a few minutes walk from the city centre as well as other shops to buy anything you may need during your stay, it's also very close to the tram and train station so being close to them was very ideal for transport around the city, outside of its appearance, the hotel staff were very warm and welcoming during our stay with cheerful greetings and they were helpful in accomodating to anything we wanted or needed during our stay which we were grateful for in the end, I really cannot say anything more about this hotel except that it was perfect for me, I hope you take this review as genuine as it is :) I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling in Vienna.

Elegant property with clean rooms.

When I booked, I wrote that I am handicapped and could not do stairs, especially not when checking in or checking out with my baggage. Yet the man who checked me in put me in a room that required me to drag my suitcases along many stairs. It was at night when I arrived, and I was in a lot of pain after my flight.  I broke down and started crying there in the hallway until a hotel employee found me then went to arrange for a different room. It was a horrible way to start my stay in Vienna, and I’m still very upset with that man who checked me in for putting me through so much distress.  The bed was also worn out and I’m comfortable.

Location was exceptional, and I was rapt to have a delightful view across the city and a mini balcony. I loved the authentic antique style and also the family history and memorabilia throughout the hotel spoke of the authenticity of the hotel. My room was small but beautifully appointed and there was enough space to doing my morning yoga. The capacity to set personal aircon preferences was appreciated (esp as the weather was stifling). I loved the lobby lounge areas and the breakfast was incredible. Staff were all lovely, extremely helpful, and clearly shared pride in their workplace.

There was nothing I disliked or would change. The hotel’s aesthetic fitted my experience of Vienna.

Very good breakfast buffé served in a gorgeous room with mural paintings and crystal chandeliers. Splendid assortment of bread, cheese, marmalade, cheese..all you need to get a good start. The hotel is very conveniently located 5 minutes walk from major public transport hub. It is quiet at night and you get a good sleep in the comfy beds. The staff is very attentive. Genuine old European hotel hospitality and atmosphere present here. The room was specious with a wonderful view.

Nothing really. I missed a shoehorn, but the reception sent it up to my room within 10 minutes.

The hotel is conveniently located near the metro and tram and is situated next to Votivkirche church, which rivals the well-known St. Stefan Church in grandeur and beauty. If you are lucky enough, you may get a room with a view of the church from two windows. The room is clean and beautifully decorated. the breakfast is exceptional, offering a variety of options suitable for strict dietary needs. There is a coffee machine in the room that is free to use (at least it was free in May 2023). If I ever come to Vienna again, I will definitely stay in the same hotel.
