I was afraid the single room would be too small but the size was perfectly adapted. Small but with enough space for one person to do everything and they even had a "baggage holder" in the room. The hotel is located very close to the center and I could easily access restaurant which were at walking distance (3min). The personnel I encountered was very friendly !

I was there on a very hot day and the room does not have an air conditioner. It was so hot that I could not sleep so I had to open the window. And then the noises from outside kept on waking me up as well. The parking is a bit tight towards the end. If you are parked at the end of it and every parking spot is taken, you might have a hard time going out. Fortunately there were some places fre when I left so I did not have a specific issue.

I loved the romantic atmosphere of the hotel and the cozy single room. Everything was spotless clean and worked well. I had a very short stay, but I would really liked to stay longer. The personnel (Daniela) was very friendly, accommodated a last-minute change of date and waited for my late arrival, even if we had agreed on automatic key delivery. The location is very central and suited well my need for a short stopover near the train station

Very friendly and helpfull staff, they also gave us visiting advices and info and a free Villach Erlebnis card, which was very usefull for us. Breakfast was excellent and serving was also very good. The building is old but has good isolation and the furniture was of good quality and generally clean. Location is 4 min away from city center and similar distance to Train station. We liked the history of the place and the continuation of the family tradition. We thank you for the hospitality!

The room was quite warm, we could not really control the heating level from the heating elements.

christ's second coming will be sooner than a hot shower in the evening. It did work the next morning though! the internet login had some weird security warnings. which didn't instill much trust in the safety of their wifi. staff seemed to be aware of it but didn't realise the potential hazard to customers' devices. breakfast ends at 9.30 but seeing that at 9 we were the only ones, it doesnt seem to be a problem for most guests.

Really gorgeous rooms and very clean. Location was so close to the downtown Villach where there are tons of restaurants. Front desk offered me a bike (included in the room payment) and places to go! Very appreciative of the local knowledge and was thrilled with my stay here!

No helmets for bikes :(

The breakfast is very good. The atmosphere and plant surrounding in restaurant are calming and quite pleasant.

The ventilation in the bathroom was not good and must be much better. Everything else was very good.

Clean and spacious room in the centre of town, an easy walk from the train station. Secure locked storage area for our bicycles was great - complete with stations for charging E-bikes if you need that.

As other reviewers noted the bathroom is tiny. However, I am a tall (193cm) and I managed OK with the shower and toilet so not really a big issue.

The hotel is located near both the center and the train station. The room was very comfy and I did like the breakfast room with the glas roof. The hotel bar has good drinks and smaller dishes, but restaurants are in walking distance

The only thing that would fit in this category is that I had to walk about 60m to the garage, where my motor bike slept - but hey, it was a garage and so I could very much live with that :)

Loved the location and the cafe bar downstairs a charming old building.

Like all European hotels, found the room a bit hot and stuffy without the window open. No tea or coffee making in the room. All typical thought of European hotels!!

Great location, lovely staff, very comfty bed. Nive old timey style.

Nothing bad really, the shower was rather narrow which can be an issue if you are a larger person. A bit expensive altogether but it might be because I arrived last minute at a vey busy time.
