Each time when I go to Baku I stay in this hotel. Hotel location is very good. Rooms are big and comfortable. The staff is very kind and helpful. Breakfast and restaurant bar menu is enough good. Thank you very much.

Best feature is the gym, swimming pool & spa facilities. Full size swimming pool & well equipped gym with suana, steam room & massage. Nurlan at the reception was very friendly & helpful. I got a massage from Kubra which was excellent. They also do a tasty shake at the bar. Room & bathroom was was great size, fully equipped with toiletries, robe, slippers & large jacuzzi bath. In general the staff in the hotel are very welcoming, which made my stay even better.

Overall I had a very good stay, so there wasn’t much I disliked. Just couple of things, the bed which was a little soft for me, I prefer a more firmer mattress. It’s not close to the centre of Baku but easily accessible.

Rooms were very specious. Beds and linen etc were high quality and comfortable. Bathroom specious and everything you could need. Outside pool area was fantastic although sometimes tables were reserved very early or the night before and more were needed.

Furniture in bedroom was very tired and needs changing as it looks dirty. the TV was old with very limited access to channels. Breakfast was very limited and not worth paying for at 25 Manet. .

The location was peaceful …the staff specially the manager who received us was incredible he knew we took a flight at night he ensured tht we are rested nd fed before he brings up payments or any other formality he brief us abt esstential requirements and made us go to to room and rest …pool and spa nd breakfast were jus cherry on top

Nothing in particular overall had smoothest check in stay and check out.

A bit dated room, but it wasn't a problem for us. The room was spacious and bed was very comfortable Also it wasn't mentioned that you need a special swim cap to swim in the pool :)

Hotel is somehow on very good "strategic location", if you are using car / taxi transportation. In general is very good hotel, especially if you can enjoy outdoor swimming pool. By personal opinion, hotel lost one star (is still a good 4+ hotel) as some room furniture are outdated.

Restaurants are 10-15 by walk away. There is a room-ventilator working all the time, it is not so loud, but in the night you can hear it - if your sleep is "light", then you may have some "problems". Room on the side of hotel entrance is "illuminated" by outside public lightening - dark curtains are not covering all window area. Breakfast could be improved with some additional international food and some background music in the dining room.

It was a perfect stay in Excelsior. Staff is helpful, the breakfast is great with fresh and copios choice. There is sauna and stream cabin separately for women and man. We loved the pools also. The whole hotel have a good ambiance with light and music. Our room was quiet with panorama to the city. We enjoyed also the well equiped fitness centre. I absolutely recommend this place.

It was a fantastic experience. I was blown away by the level of hospitality and attention to detail that the staff provided. They went above and beyond to make sure that my stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, from arranging transportation to recommending the best restaurants in the area.

It's difficult to walk around the hotel with a baby stroller. The kids pool did not have shade. The indoor pool is only for swimming in deep water. not suitable for kids.

I liked the room ,it’s specious ,amenities are new ,location is close to the center and it has a great gym.

I liked the room ,it’s specious ,amenities are new ,location is close to the center ,gym is huge and fully equipped ,it also has a big pool,but I would expected more from the 5 star hotel.For example the iron was broken,mini bar was empty,no bell boy was available,so we had to carry all our bags to the car with my wife and the gentlemen at the entrance was kept watching us doin it all buy ourselves.
