We enjoyed staying across the lane from the main hotel. Steve and Becky's accommodation was excellent. The property had it's own little pool and the garden was fantastic! Such a nice atmosphere to come home to after being on the beach or walking around town. Service was excellent. Location was so central but still remarkable quiet.

San Pedro has built up a lot in recent years. There are so many golf carts now, so the road just outside the door. But once you step inside the gate you are in a an oasis of paradise.

The whole property was immaculate and beautiful. We felt like we were on a honeymoon. The staff was amazing and really went out of their way to make sure you are having a wonderful stay.

I wish the pool was more in the sun but it was very beautiful, and refreshing so it wasn’t super disappointing.

Ramon’s is made up of many smaller tropical-style buildings (palm frond roofs, lots of wood and bright tropical colors). The central buildings consist of a restaurant, office, shop, bar, and pool area. The grounds are lush and beautiful with vegetation, flowers, and lots of trees. The complex is located within San Pedro town so exploring is easy. They rent the ubiquitous golf cart so you can explore farther. The beach is right in front of the complex. They have a dive shop where you can book excursions, adventures and get info on things to do. All of the staff were terrific. Special mention to the front desk guys who were always able to answer our newbie questions and provide guidance. Also, Yola (sp? Perhaps Iola?) at the dive shop was awesome in helping us to get to the adventures we wanted and in being prepared for the day.

There was very little not to love about Ramon’s.

Best diving place. You can just walk up and go three times a day and it’s spectacular! Grounds are beautiful. Pool is amazing. It’s warm water and mostly shaded which I don’t think any other resort there has. Food was quite good but ambience was amazing. Does not have a full bar, just beer and wine. Great smoothies though. Staff fantastic.

Geckos living in the thatched roof of our unit so they had to string a net over the bed which worked just fine. Also got a queen bed when advertised as a king but they offered to move us and we didn’t want to because the oceanside view was amazing.

The breakfast was good; they had a Buffett but it was only available on Sundays. Prices were a little expensive. The location was good, nice beach area, close to the water taxi and airport, easy to walk around town to visit shops and other restaurants. The pools were nice, the staff gave us new fresh beach towels whenever we needed them, the front desk could change big bills in Belize dollars as well. Smoothie bar was great, delicious fresh flavors. The pier was great, you could snorkel off the end of it and see all different kinds of fish, at night it was light up on the water and you could see tarpons and rays swimming around, very cool. Locals at restaurants in town and our fishing guide all told us that Ramon’s was one of the original resorts on the island and one of the best, I agree.

Having an option to have breakfast included would be nice.

Food and overall service was excellent. Property was a nice quiet respite from the party atmosphere that covers much of the island. We appreciated no liquor sold on site. Dive staff was great and helpful to us as beginning divers.

Unseasonably high winds made diving impossible for most of our visit. We got in one rough dive, boats didn't go out again until we were leaving. This was hard to swallow after all the preparation that went into the trip, but it's the chance you take on a dive vacation, especially with weather becoming less and less predictable. Snorkeling around the pier was better than expected for wildlife though, so not a total bust.

The quality of the meals was very high and the quantities were more than adequate at times. The room was very quiet especially considering the resort is located on a relatively busy road and very close to the local airport The location was very close to local stores to buy snacks, drinks including wine all within a couple of minutes walk. It was also very close to the local gym, again a short walk. The site had its own diving and fishing facilities. The staff were all very friendly.

There really was not anything that we did not like that would be under the control of the hotel.

The property is beautiful and the staff are amazing! The restaurant is exceptional for every meal, and we were never disappointed. The location is perfect for and close to everything. There is no bar at the resort, so we walked across the street to the runway bar. This became our nightly hangout location.

The rooms are very close together. Sitting on our patio was not private. We were in a grand suite which is the lower level so you hear every footstep from above. Grand Suite is still not a huge room, nor right on the beach, it has a beach view between other buildings. I heard the other rooms were very small. My biggest issue was the sink was on one side of the room and the toilet and shower on the other side. So to use the restroom you need to walk around around the bed to wash your hands.

Beautiful place. Great location. Walking distance to everything including the airport. Very helpful and caring staff. With a beautiful pool and spa services by the beach. My suite was directly on the beach with a big balcony which allowed me to see the most gorgeous and peaceful sunrises and to fall asleep with the sound of the ocean. Water faucet by the entrance of the cabins to conveniently wash the sand off your feet before getting inside the room. The amount of trees surrounding all cabins made it feel as if you are in a jungle...it was the best and first thing i noticed. Kitchen is comfortable.

No alcoholic cocktails available (only beer and wine available) but you can bring your own alcohol to have them made. Internet is no so fast.

Our stay at the Ramon's Village Resort exceeded our expectations! Settled in an amazingly designed lush, jungle-like garden, separated this resort from the outside world. Room was very clean, well equipped and comfortable. There was no TV, but who really needs it? Staff was exceptional, very professional and of highest standards. We were nicely surprised with the shuttle service to and from the resort. Food at the restaurant was amazing. I will recommend Ramon's Resort to everyone who is panning to go to San Pedro!!!! The best place to stay on the island for sure. Thank you for making our trip exceptional!
