We had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel at the beginning of May, and from the moment we stepped in, we were delighted with our choice. The location was an absolute dream; just a street away from the iconic Copacabana Beach, with a pharmacy and a grocery store conveniently situated nearby. We felt incredibly safe walking the street, even at night, making it the perfect base for our adventures. The room provided was not only spacious but also clean. We encountered a minor issue with a clogged toilet during our stay, but to our delight, the hotel staff promptly attended to the matter, resolving it swiftly and efficiently. One of the highlights was the delightful breakfast served each morning. We were pleasantly surprised by the variety of offerings, which changed daily. However, what truly sets this hotel apart is its exceptional staff. Among the warm and accommodating team, one individual stood out like a "guardian angel" - Diego, who worked at the reception. His hospitality and attentiveness made our stay all the more memorable, as he went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met and offered valuable insights into the local attractions and activities. Moreover, the hotel's excellent connections with various tour companies made our sightseeing endeavors a breeze. In summary, we wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rio de Janeiro. We struggled to come up with any negatives. Additionally, we were pleasantly surprised by the staff's commendable command of English, making communication effortless.

We really enjoyed this hotel. The location is really good just one block from the copacabana beach and lots of restaurants around and a short walk to Ipanema beach too. The hotel is actually located beside a small police office. There is also a small police section at the beach in this area so that definitely increased our feeling of safety. Good security at the hotel too with a security guard, key card access & a safe in the room. Although overall we felt the safety concerns about Rio were a bit over the top as long as you take reasonable care of your belongings. The room itself was massive, almost like a small apartment complete with good storage space & a fridge to keep your water cool. Bathroom was lovely with a great shower. The bed was extremely comfortable. Housekeeping did an excellent job getting rid of sand and giving clean towels every day. Great aircon. The rooftop pool was by far our favourite part of this place. The pool is much bigger and deeper than it looked in the pictures so definitely possible to do a few short lengths. The pool gets great sun in the morning/afternoon and it's a great place to watch sunset from too. We used it loads when we stayed.

I wouldn't recommend booking a sightseeing tour through the hotel. We booked a Favella tour and the guide told us very little and basically spent the whole thing on his phone. It was very frustrating. There is a Selina Hostel/Hotel one block down that let you book tours through them and 10/10 I would recommend. It would also be helpful if the hotel offered an airport transfer option.

Great hotel, better then expected! On the photos it looks a bit outdated but in real life I liked it a lot. My room was clean, modern and spacious. Was afraid I might hear noises from the street but the isolation was quite good.The bed was super comfy and I slept very well. I also loved the pool and the view. 1 minute walk to Copacabana beach and Ipanema is also not far. Plus all the staff is really friendly (from the reception to the cleaner to the breakfast), something that really stood out for me. When I arrived I could check in directly even though it wasn't check in time yet. Am sure they can't do that for everybody but for me it was perfect after a long intercontinental flight. Would definitely stay here again.

Nothing to complain. They could add sun umbrella's at the pool because I got sunburned, but that is my own fault :).

Good, safe hotel to stay- helpful, english speaking staff who will not leave your requests unattended; everyday room service, speedy wi-fi, good location near the restaurants, beach, pharmacies and supermarkets. Hotel services are not far away from 5-star hotels.

Recommend to offer cups/glasses and electric kettle to the guests in the room. Not all bakery in the restaurant is always fresh.

The pool area was stunning, rooftop views of the beach and the favelas. It was truly mesmerising to look at. In terms of the rooms, everything was clean and nice, the bathroom especially - which isn't always the case! The staff were really friendly and helpful if you had any questions and they have a WhatsApp number also where they can be contacted by text 24/7. Location was really good too, only a 3 minute walk to Copacabana beach and lots of restaurants nearby.

The only thing I can think of is maybe adding toiletries like conditioner in the bathrooms and also maybe a window in the room. I felt a little out of touch with time due to the lack of sunlight.

My time in Rio was great especially because absolutely wonderful hotel receptionists. Pedro. Julia and David are my superstars. They made me feel welcome and safe. Been extremely helpful with everything. Breakfast was great. And I will miss the view from the terrace. Location was safe with busy twist easy to come to the beach. Supermarkets or Metro station.

Rio loves to party and some of them you can hear throw the windows. But it's the part of the game.

Quality hotel and good value for money. Staff were really friendly and helped us out a lot. Everything worked (hot water, Wifi, etc) and comfortable beds. Nice little balcony. One block from the beach. You also can walk (15 mins) to Ipamena beach. Also, the rooms were reasonably quiet, which is becoming a rarity these days. Nice little pool on top floor, great for the Instagram crowd. We enjoyed our stay!

The localisation of the hotel is great (30min by taxi/uber from GIG Airport, 5min walk from Copacabana beach, and 10min walk to Ipanema). Lots of store around to eat, drink and buy convenience products. The staff is really helpful and nice. The room was a great size and has AC, the bathroom too and everything was clean. Breakfast was kind of buffet with many choice (eggs, sausage, bread, jam, honey, coffee, milk…) and was tasty.

The pillow were too soft for me as I prefer hard pillow. The window in my room couldnt close properly so I had some noise coming from outside

Well situated close to the junction between Copacabana and Ipanema, this hotel is well adapted for short stays in Rio when you wanna be where things are happening. it offers a stunning view of the Zona Sul with a rooftop pool where you will, no doubt take a few pictures.

Though the staff was full of care and attention, the hotel suffers from average maintenance (we were moved to different rooms to cater for electricity outages) and anyone would say that it could do with some refurbishment. We also observed that some of the services are not available namely the spa and the bar at the pool.

The staff is very cool and some of them even speaks Spanish so that's a plus for me. I liked the breakfast, repetitive but with lots of options.

The room is smaller than I tought but it's ok taking into consideration the location of the hotel. The pool is always cold, which can be a plus on summer but a problem in winter
