The price for this hotel was very reasonable, considering it's minutes away walking to either Copacabana Beach OR Ipanema Beach. We liked this area better than staying farther north on Copacabana beach - it seemed to have much more to offer as far as restaurants, padarias, etc. The staff was super friendly, and they even let us check in two hours early without an extra fee or making it a big deal. The lobby is huge and would be a nice place to sit in chat. We didn't try the breakfast because we ended up wanting to explore right away in the morning and try out a padaria.

The hotel was mostly clean, but the grout in the bathroom shower needed to be scrubbed/cleaned. This seems to be the case in a lot of hotel bathrooms. The "queen bed" was two twin beds pushed together, so wasn't very comfortable for a couple, unless you cuddle up on on side or the other. It was comfortable for sleeping, though.

Location and staff. Desk staff spoke English so could help us when needed.

The hotel is at a perfect location at walking distance from both Copacabana beach and ipanema beach and loads of restaurants nearby. Super friendly staff and clean and spacious room. Breakfast was fine.

our room was next to the (very loud) elevator which was quite noisy. Whole hotel (including pool) looks a bit dated, but given the great location and clean room not an issue

The location is amazing! The hotel is located between Copacabana and Ipanema you can reach both beaches within a short walking distance. The rooms are spacious and very clean and they have a nice swimming pool on the roof. The breakfast is outstanding. The staff and manager are extremely friend, helpful and very accommodating!! The most is that you can leave your luggage when you’re about to leave in the hotel. We had been travelling for 1 month around Brazil and this hotel, was our best experience. We had lovely time and we will be back for sure. Thanks so much!!

Great location, plentyfull breakfast, friendly and helpfull staff at the reception desk. Perfect place to relax on the rooftop.

Bathroom soap and shower gel wasn't refilled for the following two days.

The staff, especially Ivan, Franz and Ursula on the front desk were superb. Thiago the manager was great too and helped us with our football tickets. A good breakfast every morning. Good room with efficient air conditioning and nice size bathroom and great shower. Location equi-distance from Copacabana and Ipanema. Small but nice roof top pool area

Everything was great for us. Light sleepers may prefer a room at the back of the hotel, away from the main road. We did book a taxi with the hotel for our transfer to the airport when we left. We were quoted 80 Reals which was reasonable. However during our journey, the traffic was horrendous and the cost rose to 133 Reals because we were in queues for so long! This was obviously outside the control of the hotel but in future I would book a prepaid transfer with Booking.com to avoid such a situation.

The continental breakfast included was good and the location excellent. I found my room to be comfy as I expected. A plus was the rooftop with the pool and sauna which I enjoyed every late evening. I will be back when in Rio again.

Very kind staff and helpful with any question or help I needed. Specially Ivan at the reception, Luis & Rogerio the doormen and the lovely Elaine in charge of the breakfast that made me feel at home.

The hotel would need some modernisation, however, it did still have everything I needed and the location was excellent.
