the hotel was so relaxing, perfect to come back to after a busy day touring temples. we loved the location - it’s a 10/15 minute drive into town if you want to go out in the evening but the location means you can really escape from the hustle and bustle. the pool was amazing, the staff super friendly and helpful and the room was one of the nicest we’ve had on our whole trip. only wish we had stayed longer.

you could see the location as being a downside if you want to go into the town every night, but it was about a $3 grab if you fancy it.

Fourteen spacious and gorgeous cottages surrounding a 25-meter pool, with tropical vegetation and a gracious staff hopping to service every hunger or thirst! Angkor Privilege is an island of tranquillity in the noisy, crowded, mostly ugly sprawl of modern Siem Reap. The contrast, the sense of being 'insulated' from commerce and ruckus, made Privilege live up to its name. Evocations of Shangri-La were unavoidable.

The only thing I didn't love was the background music by the pool, an endlessly recycling tinkle, the sort of 'white noise' you might hear in a massage studio. But hey, I'm a musician so I tend to hate all background music.

We had a wonderful 5 night stay at the Angkor Privilege Resort. We had the Presidential Suite which was perfect for our family of 4, with its 2 spacious bedrooms and large sitting room. We loved the beautiful pool area and the delicious breakfasts. We ate several meals in the restaurant which were all excellent. The staff could not have been more kind and helpful - they made reservations for us and arranged laundry, taxis and Tuk Tuk rides. We enjoyed several excellent massages in the lovely spa. The location of the hotel is a 10 minute Tuk Tuk ride outside of the main town but it’s a wonderful little oasis of peace and tranquillity. We would highly recommend this hotel.

The staff is the best. The pool is a dream. Wonderful breakfasts. Big villa with comfortable bed, good wifi and aircon. Very easy to use grab application to call for tuktuk if you want to go to the town. And no need to look for small banknotes. It costs only 8000-10000 riels, or 2-2,5 usd. And you have to eat dinner at the hotel- everything we tried was superb.

The water was not hot, just warm during our stay. And in the afternoon it was lukewarm. I do not know, is it usuall for this hotel, they cannot solve the problem during our 6 days stay. The location was a bit isolated, but I knew it. It is compensated by the price.

This is a small, boutique property. An oasis of calm after a day of excursions. The rooms are well furnished to a high quality. The resort is well managed and all staff are friendly and efficient. It does the personal touch really well. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony pre dinner, watching the geckoes and tree frogs. The grounds are well cared for and beautifully lit in the evening. The garden, four poster beds provide a stylish shady option to the pool. We also enjoyed the small jacuzzi pool alongside the main pool. The dinner options are well presented and delicious. The breakfast was a la carte or buffet options depending on occupancy rates. The coffee is excellent! We took several hotel excursions which were competitively priced and included a car or Tuk Tuk option. I thoroughly enjoyed the Khmer massage. The room package and special offers were excellent value for money. It’s perfect in all respects… stay! If you can… include a night out at the Phare circus too! It’s well located for a visit to a genuine local market and a short Tuk Tuk ride into Siem Reap if you are drawn to the commercialism of Pub Street.

Even better if: Non slip bath/shower mats were provided- it can get very slippery!

Best hotel of the 7 we stayed in during Vietnam/Cambodia! The staff were so lovely and accommodating, always going out of their way to say hello and help. Breakfast was delicious and they happily accommodated a packed brekky when we started at 0330 for the sunrise tours as well. Free transfers so no stress getting off the plane. We had a pool room which was huge! Great layout with a walk behind bathroom , huge bath, huge bed and spacious front area for relaxing. Aircon nice and cold, fast internet, and a beautiful place to have a drink on the porch before jumping in the (very large) pool a few steps away. It's about a 15 minute tuktuk to pub street for going out, so it was away from the hustle and bustle and set well back off the street so very quiet and leafy. They also really looked after us allowing a late check-out so we could squeeze in another trip to the lake and relax before a late flight. Highly recommend.

As Siem Reap expats, we stay at various 5-star hotels every month to escape our daily routines. A little far from the center of town, but perfect for those seeking tranquility and peace of mind. You can relax and feel at ease in the lush green grounds. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed a family dinner at the hotel restaurant, which was reasonably priced and very tasty. The staff celebrated my son's birthday with a cake with assorted fruits. Angkor Privilege Resort becomes one of our favorite place in town and we will definitely return to stay here again.

Bath water should be hotter.

Everything - pure paradise! A little oasis from the main new national road where all main hotels reside. The villa was utterly out of this world- great to have a linked up villa so we could all be together. Staff were so attentive - on hand for anything we needed. Whole place was so tranquil. Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this hotel to friends and family. The pool was a perfect size to swim lengths or just cool off. Free transport to and from the airport was another bonus -we tipped well instead! New airport opening in October which will be 45km from Siem Reap.

The staff is amazing, very kind, helpful from reception to restaurant, kichen, cleaning. The place is an oasis, big garden well mentained, big and clean swimming pool, main building ans small houses. The room is huge, clean, small living room, big bedroom and bathroom. Very comfortable beds, AC. The breakfast was very good, more than decent as I read some reviews, fresh fruits and vegetables, different types of eggs or local food, wonderful local desert with pumkin and coconut milk.

Location is far from the city, 4.5km, you can't walk around but there are options: tuk tuk for 3 $ or the best option to rent a motor byke for 7-9 $ a day and one can travel around all the temples, to the city or to floating village.

EVERYTHING!!!! This hotel and the team here deserve the highest praise. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable, although a few more clothes hangers would be good. The breakfast and other meals were really tasty and great value and the service was impeccable. The pool was a wonderfully welcome relief after a day of sightseeing and fresh pool towels were supplied every time. It's only a small hotel so it's absolutely perfect for relaxing, in fact it's like a small oasis in the middle of an often chaotic city. I really cannot praise or thank Mr Sarou and his team enough and would especially like to mention Kaka and Jet for looking after us so well
