My husband and I recently travelled to Siam Ream - Cambodia for a holiday and decided to stay at The Embassy of Angkor Resort. I have to say, it was an incredible experience! From the moment we arrived in style with a vintage white Mercedes - 1960s, we were greeted with warm hospitality and made us feel at home. The hotel itself was stunning - a beautiful blend of traditional Khmer architecture and modern amenities. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the amenities, private pool and a bathtub at the middle of the room! Was all I needed to make our stay enjoyable. But what really stood out to me was the exceptional service provided by the staff. Everyone I encountered - from the front desk ( Maneth, Morning star, Lucky and the rest that I can't name them, to the restaurant staff (Key and the girls) went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met and our stay was enjoyable. They were always available to provide anything we needed. The hotel planned on places to visit and things to do. We were in communication throughout with the hotel staff in WhatsApp, with quick response. The hotel is also situated at a great location, just a short distance (10min) from the town with all Siam Reap top restaurants, pubs, day and night market, making it the perfect base for exploring the area. The complementary Tuk Tuk rides from hotel to town, once your done send a WhatsApp to hotel, they will arrange the pick up back to hotel. Overall, I would highly recommend The Embassy of Angkor Resort & Spa to anyone visiting Cambodia. It's the perfect combination of luxury, comfort, and authentic Khmer hospitality, and I can't wait to stay there again!

The Embassy is a nice, well spaced out place to stay with a mixture of traditional and modern communal areas and modern bedrooms set out in traditional style. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Poch and Kry and also Morning Star and Key(?). Sorry to those I've forgotten that I can't remember you all. We ate in once and had a pleasant meal and drank cocktails on several evenings, all well made. The pool is a good size and for those of us that like the sun, there were areas where you could sit out in it, whereas some other hotels we stayed at in Cambodia, it was barely possible to see the sun due to the number of plants shading the pool area. The hotel isn't close to the centre of the town but in a quiet location, however it offered a free Tuk Tuk service into town which took around 7 or 8 minutes.

We had a suite with its' own small pool. Fab - but one minor gripe. Unlike the main pool where you could choose to sit in the sun or shade, our pool was very shaded so we barely used it.

Very peaceful surroundings, lovely room and wonderful staff. Everything always cleaned and freshened up for us daily. Free transport to town and breakfast /high tea much appreciated !! Loved the pool and spent much time there. Minor issue with shower not draining but was fixed after I asked! Staff are all very attentive. The curries and spring rolls we ordered to the room were excellent!

I couldn’t use the pillows for sleeping at all, just far too thick and hard for me so I slept without pillow every night. There wasn’t any hooks or rails for hanging towels in the room. Also would be nice if there was some anti bacterial wipes or spray to clean the gym equipment before and after use, I didn’t see any.

Where do I start with this amazing gem. We stayed 7 nights in a private pool room which is a small step up in price per day, but totally worth it. Huge room, the biggest, softest bed I've ever been on, clean and chlorinated private pool (IS A MUST), huge shower, clean toilet etc. Daily breakfast included which is the best I've had in any Asian hotel, all Khmer and Western food made to order, home made cakes, high quality coffee and home made sandwiches. Restaurant is pool side, very quiet and romantic on an evening, we ate here and it was very tasty. The location is 2km from the centre but they provide a free tuktuk shuttle both to and from downtown. Probably even better than all that is the staff, we've stayed all over ASEAN countries and the staff here cannot do enough for you, you really do get the royalty treatment, nothing is ever too much. Special shout out to Seryka on breakfast waiting on our every need and always smiling. Special shout to Mr Leap on reception, he organised any tuktuks we needed, tours, recommendations etc and generally a top guy. Special shout to Morning Star also on reception, she was great in accommodation our very need. I can't recommend this hotel enough, excellent value for money and thoroughly enjoyable. This is an amazing hotel! The environment is beautiful and every waiter is very polite. We want to thanks "Lucky" for the hospitality. We were here for two days, he always greeted us and asked us needed anything? He is really great! When we returned to the hotel after a day of exploring Angkor, it felt like we entered a paradise. Everything here was very relaxing. The swimming pool and the bathtub in the room were a big plus. It had everything we wanted! Another good service of the hotel is to provide free Tuk Tuk to pop street, which is a very considerate service for all travelers! When I come to Siem reap again, there is no doubt that I will choose this hotel again!

Staff, facilities, service, breakfast were all 100%. Free tuktuk ride to take us to and from town was very handy and they served some lovely breakfast and high tea in the arvo. Loved that this place had all we need and more—pool, gym, spa, bar. Shoutout to Morning Star, Molika, Panha, Key and Leang and the rest of the team here at Embassy Angkor Resort and Spa. Incredible place to stay and seek refuge after exploring the town and temples. 10/10 would recommend!

Loved the private pool and the huge comfortable bed. Amazing standard in the room, frankly it made it hard to leave the room at times lol (which is a good thing). Main pool and restaurant are well presented and well located. Room service speed and quality just as high as the restaurant which isn’t always the case. All staff were trying their best at all times and deserve an A+ for effort. Was a bit overbearing at times but can’t fault someone for trying. Location to Pub Street was 5 mins which the hotel arranged and paid for. Simple.

Small details, but important if they want to reach a higher 10/10 standard. TV was strangely located in the room. Far away from the bed and didn’t have any access to channels or internet. We used our laptop instead making the TV kind of pointless. Inclusive breakfast isn’t a full buffet, it’s made to order (eggs / bacon) which isn’t an issue, just seemed the staff couldn’t keep up with the number of orders. People were waiting for 30+ mins. Would be easier for them to just do a buffet so people can grab and go as people typically have activities planned in the morning so waiting isn’t ideal. Gym is tired and lacking equipment. Simple upgrade and issue solved.

The private pool was amazing. We always enjoy having our own space. The vintage car was a nice little touch when we did the small tour to see the temples.

Unlike all other countries that you cannot drink the water out of the tap that provides free bottled water,, this hotel charged for the bottles of water they left in our room. We were not provided that information on on being charged when checking in.

The room was quite spacious and clean. I quite liked the large double bed. My room overlooked the swimming pool, and the tropical plantation were soothing to the eye. We were well looked after my Mogks and Ngoun, and Phanna made sure we had vegetarian food made, especially for us.

I didn't like it on the first day as we didn't have vegetarian food as per our expectation but as days went by, the chef made sure we had good food..MyAccount

We loved Everything. The rooms were fabulous and comfy, very large and are superbly clean. We were in two private pool villas and they were wonderful. The staff are so friendly and polite. The food is beautiful and they have a wonderful variety. It is not far from the main centre, and the resort will supply a tuk tuk free to go into the city. You are also close to Angkor Wat as well. The resort has a main pool area which is fabulous with a bar area too, with lots of gorgeous plants and pieces of art. We just loved it and would love to come back again. Thank you.
