Location is fantastic, Canmore is a lovely town which has great views of the mountains, the hotel is close to the highway and just over an hour to the Banff national park. Grassi Lakes is a must visit when staying as it is only a 20 min drive with parking available. Reception were extremely accommodating and provided useful recommendations for exploring the local area and Banff national park
We arrived after being out all day to find our door had been left open by housekeeping, with all our luggage and personal items left in the room. We were extremely shaken up given what could have arose from this and all reception could do was waiver the 30 CAD parking fee and inform the housekeeping manager. Expected much better from a hotel with such positive reviews, and will not be staying here going forward following this ordeal. Additionally the bathrooms are dated with the pressure of the showers not strong at all.

The Hotel was exceptionally clean and comfortable with air conditioning. We enjoyed the indoor swimming pool and hot tub. The facility was well laid out and catered to tourists. The staff were very approachable. Although they had a dining facility, the room did not include morning breakfast. However, they did offer a $ 5.00 coupon towards the price of a meal in lieu of daily housekeeping service. This green program provided light housekeeping during the week, and the replacement of towels, and bathroom amenities during the week upon request with the make up of your room if requested during your stay. In lieu of the restaurant coupon they also provided a souvenir gift (Rocky Mountain soap) to those who preferred this.
We were very pleased with the Hotel, and I expect the price point is on par with what is expected during the summer season. The location we stayed at was in Canmore, Alberta. I found it to be on the pricey side, considering it did not include breakfast, but in retrospect, I am happy we stayed there because we were really unsure of what to expect, and the Hotel was very clean.

Bed and sheets very comfortable. Room facilities good - great coffee machine with good process for extra supplies. Lovely to have fruit flavoured chilled water and fresh fruit available at the front desk. Reception staff great. Convenient location.
My room was on the ground floor outside the main entrance, with a ‘patio’. The ‘patio’ were two chairs on a few floor tiles with cars parked in front, not conducive for sitting out! It was not worth extra money to pay for this. Guests had obviously used the area for smoking as there were cigarette ends in the plant pot. Also the coaches coming from Calgary etc park right outside several times a day, which was fine except they leave their engines running while offloading, the worst company for this was Engelheim coaches who left their engines running for 20 minutes each time which was not nice, particularly early in the morning and you could also smell the engine fumes.

Morning front desk staff and the toiletries.
1. We arrived past midnight, and the evening staff was not at the front desk and had to wait for more than 5 minutes until someone went inside with a key so we could enter the lobby (we buzzed several times, and no one answered). After that, I had to wait another 5 mins before we found the front desk staff. 2. Before arriving, I tried calling the hotel to let them know that we would be coming in late. But no one was picking up the calls. We called from the car more than 10 times and then gave up eventually.

We were not expecting much from a chain hotel, but were very impressed by the whole place. We have booked future stays at Coast hotels on the strength of this visit. The staff were helpful, the room large, and the gym well equipped with nearly new equipment including Pelton bikes. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Canmore is a lovely little town, without the crowds and chaos of Banff
We were surprised by the check in time of 1600, when many other places welcome guests at 1500. We did arrive at 1500, as we had made a mix up (sorry!) However the reception from the gentleman at the desk was somewhat frosty and we were told the room was not ready and to come back at 1600. Perhaps we could have been invited to sit in the bar or in the lovely terrace area? Luckily everything else in our stay made up for this poor first impression.

The location and suite were nice. Our room had a balcony leading straight out to the restaurant and pool/gym.
We were there for 6 nights and our room wasn't serviced once. We had put out a sign stating We wanted our room cleaned three mornings in a row and each time we came back it wasn't cleaned. I had gone to the front desk to let them know and request clean towels. The next day it still wasn't cleaned so not sure what happened there 🤷♀️

Convenient with the Banff Shuttle dropping me off at the door
Was a bit taken back when I asked for water and was told I could get it myself at the counter. I figured if I paid over $300 a night I could be served a glass of water. Also when I tried to order room service for breakfast the site would not give me a time to pick to be delivered. I needed to catch the shuttle at 10 am and wasn’t guaranteed that I would get my breakfast before I left.

Overall the Coast was an awesome place to stay, close to all amenities and with a very short walk to the inner parts of town. For those coming in on the Airporter it literally drops you off at the front door. The restaurant offers a Happy Hour menu from Sunday to Thursday which was great. The regular menu was well rounded with meals balanced for all. Several GF options . The staff was friendly and supportive.
The Wi-FI signal. Was terrible. I had some work to do and the signal was so weak that I actually could not complete my task. I wish the walk to the pool, hot tub and weight room did not go through the main lobby. The supply of robes was very much appreciated though just for that alone. I did ask for daily linen service and was missed a couple days in a row. Once I reached out they were right there to take out the garbage and leave fresh towels and make the beds.

Room: appreciated the patio & French doors. Breakfast: the restaurant served a good breakfast (not included) Location: Canmore is a beautiful town, situated in incomparable scenery, and convenient to many attractions. The hotel is very conveniently located within walking distance of town centre. Grounds: lovely. Pool & Hot tub & exercise room: really enjoyed having these.
Room: a bit small for 3 adults, and strangely arranged with the 2 long benches along the wall opposite the bed, which put the small table & chairs squarely in the way of reaching the patio. Price: very expensive cf. our usual budget for accommodation. We realize it's a prime location & prime season, so that's why we were willing to pay the price.
