Lodges at Canmore

Comfortable cosy accommodation. Comfortable couch in living room, table and chairs. Excellent lighting, cooking facilities. Kitchen was well supplied with utensils and dishes. Outdoor pool in winter was fantastic. I enjoyed deep water running and we enjoyed the hot tub too. Nice to have a bathroom on the lower level as well as in the loft. Late checkout to allow us to use the pool on the last morning was much appreciated. Location is close to good restaurants - The Grande Kitchen was excellent and very close!

Bed could have had a softer top for our taste, but it wasn't bad. Faucet in upstairs bathroom had very low flow. We could not get the TV in living room to work. No problem with the one in the bedroom. Perhaps someone has changed the setup?

They were very accommodating. We needed to change our reservation due to a highway closure and the staff were helpful in shifting our reservation forward by a day. We did get a free upgrade as well to a two bedroom suite. Our beds were very comfortable, a well equipped kitchen. Enjoyed the access to the hot tub that was away from the main pool and that there was a fitness room as well on site. We were in the Cougar lodge.

It is dated and some of the property is showing the wear of the years. If you are looking for a quiet sleep proceed with caution as it is a popular family destination and we were woken up very early each morning by jumping feet above us. If you need a quiet sleep ask for the top floor.

Such a great find! I booked a 2 bedroom suite to share with my parents and it was plenty big enough and very well equipped with all the kitchen essentials and laundry in-suite. Only a 20-minute drive from Banff it's perfect for a cheaper way to enjoy the Rockies. We also loved how close we were to everything in Canmore, making it easy to explore on foot. The pool was an added bonus, too. Overall our stay was excellent value and I'll definitely book here for future trips.

One very small remark is that the chemical levels seemed very high in the hot tub so we didn't stay in it for too long.

We stayed 3 nights in a 2 bedroom suite and the unit was very spacious and clean. We liked that it had 2 toilets and there was a washing machine, dryer and a dish washer. The beds were comfortable.

We stayed 3 nights in a 1 bedroom suite (as there was no 2 bedroom for 6 nights) and the unit was a let down. The washing machine was not working, the sofa bed had no support and was not comfortable for sleeping. The unit was dusty. It was a total difference from the 2 bedroom which we were able to stay for 3 nights.

rooms were nice but a "breaker switch" died within 1st few hrs there so resulted in no lights or fan in 1/2 bath no tv power in bedroom, no side lamps power in bedroom......

not sure as ;breaker in panel box' like light bulbs--- no predicting when they will blow so who is at fault???? everything else was great, first time for us n we stayed in Cougar lodge in future will try Wolf n Grizzly lodge so have something to compare.... furniture is older n stressed but no biggie yet bulky m perhaps oversized for one bdr condo takes up lots space.

It was a cozy space. Perfect for our little spring get away, just my friend and I. We had a great time.

The signage around the facility was not great, which made it tricky to find where you were going. Also the coffee maker in our unit did not work properly, so that was an early morning disappointment. The pull out couch could use some love. Otherwise, it is a nice place to stay.

The accomodation had everything we needed for our journey. Fully sellf contained with washing machine cooking facilities, 2 toilets and cable TV. great views from the balcony also. For a couple on the road for 6 weeks this was a god send with homely creature comforts. Only 20 mins to Bamff and all the local attractions at half the price.

This unit has a nice mountain view. The appliances appear to be newer. Enough kitchen gadgets to be able to cook. The king bed was comfortable. We were upgraded to this room after we refused the first room we were given.

Grizzly 415. Room needs attention. The carpet is filthy. There is only one closet. It was already full of extra bedding and an air conditioner, so there was really no room for us to hang anything.

one of the older condo complexes in Canmore, but well maintained. Good location with easy driving, walking, or bike access into Canmore.

Getting to the pool is awkward, if you are not in the main building. Suites are showing their age a bit, with wear and tear, but still quite nice.

We love all the space and the full kitchen. The washer and dryer were nice to have, and the TV had a good selection of channels. It was great that the hot tub and pools were open, and the fitness room had lots of equipment.

While they have 3 hot tubs they also have some 600 rooms, so the hot tubs were always full. The fitness room hours were pretty limited, given that most are open 24 hours.
