Super 8 by Wyndham Medicine Hat AB

Breakfast was good and the breakfast room very clean. Front desk staff Lawrence was super and looked after everything when booking .com screwed up my reservation and only gave me 1 room while I had printed out the confirmation and it was for 2 rooms and I was charged for 2 rooms.

Booking .com screwed up my reservation only booking one room while their confirmation and charges were for 2 rooms. Lawrence on the front desk did a quick fix, moved some rooms around and we got 2 rooms together for I and my grandaughters. Still waiting to hear from booking with a credit to my master card for one room.

Desk clerk was apologetic that the air conditioning was not turned on prior to my arrival, and offered to move me to a pre-chilled room. I was heading out again, so there was no need, but was extremely surprised by the offer. Location was fantastic, as anything that I needed was very close by.

Only wish that I had more time to enjoy the amenities offered by the hotel (pool, hot tub, breakfast).

Breakfast - more than we have at home I use a walker & was the bathroom ever big! I enjoyed using it. It wasn’t crowded, had only 1 bed, but that left ample room for me to use the walker.

The toilet could have been higher - especially since we specifically asked for a wheelchair accessible room. Also, when we walked into the room (when we got there), it smelled very smoky. Are people allowed to smoke in their rooms?

we had an amazing stay! my friends and I were travelling from BC back home to manitoba. Matt who works the front desk was so kind and made us feel so welcome. we ordered skip but didn’t have room to eat all together in one of our rooms, so Matt opened the breakfast room so we could eat together. when we woke up, we had free breakfast and the waffles were very yummy. thanks Matt for making our stay great.

nothing, beds were comfy, had lots of towels, free breakfast was good. cant complain!

I did not have breakfast at the hotel as were going to a family brunch at a restaurant close by. I was very pleased to be able to get hot/fresh coffee in the lobby early in the morning. The disabled room was spacious and easy to move about in with the wheelchair, a raised toilet seat accessible in the room is the only thing I would add.

The water temperature in the hot tub seemed a little cool on Thursday evening, but was much better early Friday.

The location was excellent, right off the highway. Big enough fridge for our on-the-road food. A comfortable place to stay on our cross Canada road trip.

There were only two small pillows for the queen bed. We didn't ask if there were any more, too tired, but it would have been nice to have two more pillows.

The manager at the front desk was great . Read the I put down I had small kids not to annoy other guests.he Was very pleasant to other guests ahead of me as well. I normally stay in SK when visiting but if I need to stay I will think of staying there again

Not that I didn't like it but the breakfast could use eggs. If I had to pick anything.

I've stayed here before. The rooms are very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Nice bathrooms. A very busy place close to main roads and highway 1, but it seemed very quiet. The breakfast room is well stocked and kept clean and tidy, and there is always fresh fruit in the lobby. It's easily accessible from Highway 1 and only minutes from the downtown core or the stampede grounds. I had an issue with my first room, and I was immediately moved to another room without any problem. Thank you, Tamsin, for taking such good care of me. The people manning the front desk are phenomenal - friendly, helpful, accommodating and good senses of humour. The cleaning lady I met was also a lovely woman. The staff here are real gems. It is a real pleasure to stay here and I can't wait for my next trip to the Hat.

Wow, I've been wracking my brain, but I can't think of much. If people above you are heavy footed you can hear them. I didn't have an iron and ironing board, but I don't think many other people would worry much about that. That's about it.

It was a great place for us and our 2 grandsons. They loved the pool! Even though the hotel was very busy, the pool was quite open and quiet for the most part.

Again it was very busy, but it's the busy times when you see what you can do better. The breakfast room could use a 2nd waffle maker and the front desk person was doing their best to cover both, but the plates and utensils needed more regular attention.

the property was clean and felt very safe, staff was very friendly our room was clean and comfortable

the only thing that I had an issue with was the complimentary coffee was terrible. I suggest to the motel to spend a little more money on better quality coffee. The bathroom fan in our room was very loud and sounded like it was going to fall out of the ceiling. otherwise we enjoyed our stay at the super 8
