Great access off the hiway. Very close to a Tims, Dennys and gas bar. Clean, bright, fresh, new! The layout of the rooms/hallways, front desk, elevator/stairs access was ideal. BREAKFAST - THE BEST WE'VE EVER BEEN OFFERED AT A SUPER 8 !!! Great variety. Breakfast hours are to 10 instead of 9, that was sooo helpful. Veteran Parking! Along side the handicap spot. My husband was very impressed. Convenient idea to have a Smittys right in the same building. Happy we went with This location, thanks to previous reviews !

I was awakened at 6:45 am by a dispute across the hall involving a lot of screaming and physical violence. I called the front desk as it escalated. I could hear a woman screaming for help, so I went over and pounded on the door. The male in the room then allowed the female to exit. she sat on the hallway floor, against the wall, sobbing. The front desk attendant and the breakfast lady showed up and escorted her away. An hour later as I left my room to check out, I could hear the same woman, screaming and crying again in the room across the hall. it wasn’t a very enjoyable way to wake up.

Bed was super comfy! Room was clean. Also great to have a full restaurant on site. Smitty's isn't my first choice any day of the week, but after a long day it was nice to be able to go get a drink and go back to the room to bed

The tater tots were kinda stale both mornings for breakfast. But that's minor, was glad there was a hot breakfast option. Also a weird banging every couple minutes in the room, wasn't sure where exactly it was coming from. Not overly loud, but distracting to the point I kept thinking there was someone outside the door

It was a bonus to get a main floor room and easy access to the outdoors. The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable.

The main desk clerk didn't know how to enter the pre-authorized payment and charged me that plus the cost of the hotel room which I had already paid. Then he called me back to say that he had done the incorrect amount which I had already pointed out to him. Eventually, he was able to correct the mistake and do it properly. The breakfast was nothing as described on the website. There was no nutritional value to most of it...white bread for toast, tater tots, sausage and pancakes. It would have been nice to have some choices of breads for toast, muffins, etc.

Clean. Updated. Comfy beds. Sheet, blanket, bed spread, & 3 standard size, fluffy pillows on each queen bed. A/C was powerful. Smitty's in the building. Great value even before my Booking.com discount. I only paid $90 with fees and taxes but it was originally only $129.00 before fees and taxes, not bad comparatively. Also is close to Trans Canada & was handy on our east bound road trip.

Bathroom sink in our room was super low to the ground. Mid thigh and I'm 5'2". Not a problem, just odd. We laughed. Continental breakfast ran out early but there was still coffee. We were there at 9:30am. I was totally fine with that as the room was such a deal.

Facility was very clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and easy to talk to. Location has a Smitty's restaurant with good food and friendly staff. Prices were very reasonable and a good location.

I thought the cleaning staff could have been a little more generous when replacing towels and face cloths. Walk in shower would be better than tub shower.

The room had a working fireplace! The location was great, easy to get to and surrounded by all the amenities you need when road tripping. The breakfast was better than expected as well, with both hot and cold food.

When we arrived at the room, I thought I'd made a mistake and booked a smoking room by accident. Unfortunately, I hadn't screwed up but the previous occupant had been smoking there. I'm not one to raise hell for something minor like smoky smell that you only notice on first entering a room. Also wish there was a pool but cest la vie.

Very large room with a fireplace for aesthetics. But the highlight is the hot self-serve breakfast of eggs, sausage, potatoes, yogurt, breads, fruits, and juices. Post-COVID there are fewer hotels serving the hot self-serve breakfast to a point where it is now a pleasant surprise when you get one.

The rooms are dated and a little dark. The hotel is situated at the corner of a highway and busy exit/entrance road, so noise sensitive guests could have issues.

good pillows and I like having a comforter. location of room was good to access from alternate door.

bathtub didn’t drain well, bathroom didn’t seem clean (toilet seat dirty, looked like a swished bug on wall) neighbours had noisy kids playing hockey in hallway. breakfast room so full, only could grab a apple juice and yogurt and muffin for the road. pancake machine broken.

Breakfast was good lost of variety. Toaster was faster than we have experienced in other hotel/motels/ easy access back onto Hwy 165 We only used the room to sleep as we went visiting after arrival.

There is no place to hang towels in the bathroom. Toilet is very low for tall people or seniors with not good knees
