The owners were friendly and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. They were on the property doing yard work: very available. The room looked freshly renovated, very clean, although they apparently hadn't done any renovations; clearly they look after their property very well! The property was quiet. Bed was comfortable. Hot water worked great. Nothing was missing. Lighting was good. I was grateful for the portable hair dryer.

The shower was a little awkward as I kept hitting the handle with my elbow and it would get hotter or colder suddenly, but I got used to it and learned how to avoid doing that. A very small thing.

Check in was easy, friendly staff. We have stayed at this motel twice in the last year. The price is very reasonable.

The shower in the bathroom is tiny, hardly wide enough to take a shower, and I'm a thin person. The shower head is right at ceiling height, and I could get it to spray on me because it's pointed towards the wall because the shower is too narrow and only a curtain across it, otherwise the water would spray outside the curtain. This would be a major renovation, but otherwise it's a very nice unit, and a great place to stay for a night.

We come to oysoyoos every summer. Since we discovered Lakeview Motel we have returned year after year as it ticks all the boxes for us. Great location - close to the beach. Simple but great accommodations such as a kitchen with fridge, stove, dishes, and cutlery. It's always clean. We love that the pool is very close to the rooms so we can go back and forth with ease and also keep a watchful eye over our children. For us it's perfect!

Easy to find, well stocked kitchen, nice pool and the toilet worked. First out of 4 stays this trip.

Old but recently updated. Old and warn out bathroom towels. Smallest tv with cheap remote, had to manually switch between my laptop and the cable box. Steep narrow stairs and walkway to the upper rooms. Don’t get me wrong, it was one of the cheapest we could find for an overnighter but it was still a lot of money for such an old place.

The room was setup very well with a very comfortable king bed and a kitchen. Full fridge and stove. The pool is a salt water pool which is warm and good for your skin, with lots of lounge chairs available. The staff were very thoughtful, courteous and made your stay enjoyable. There is also a washer and dryer on site as well as books puzzles, etc. Location was great 1/2 block from the beach. Close to main street, nice walk in the mornings or evenings.

The only think was the pillows I didn't find comfortable, each person is different when it comes to pillows.

The Motel is a bit older but is well maintained and represents a very value for the price. The room was spacious and clean. It was nice to have a full-sized fridge and microwave. This is a quiet area, especially in the off-season. The mattress was an older type spring mattress but was adequate and provided full support.

Lighting could be a little bit better, especially if both people want to read in bed.

Great motel. All the facilities one would need. Bring spices and salt and pepper etc., baggies for leftovers, plastic wrap, for kitchen, napkins etc. But that should be expected to bring. The maintenance/owner fellow very friendly, and nice to chat with. The cliental is a little older and quiet thankfully not a party zone. Which is wonderful. We stayed in 106. Amenities great, blinds in second bedroom a little worn, and that bed is not comfortable nor quiet (very noisy when you turn move or anything) But the other room bed was cozy and comfortable.There was a hair dryer in room (not listed in amenities that I saw). I would stay here again in a moment!! Great place! Great location. Clean up after yourself, and keep the motel in great shape. Do your part, clean the BBQ and BBQ utensils after use. It wasnt done by previous user, not sure why that is so hard to do. Great stay!! Except for that bed!

I didnt dislike anything, just an uncomfortable bed in one room that need replacing. The whole frame make all kinds of loud noises. But everything else was good.

The room was very clean. We chose this location because of the kitchenette which was well equipped. It included a full size fridge, stove and microwave. There were ample pots , pans, frying pan and even a 9 × 13 baking dish; measuring utensils, a set of sharp knives, peeler, cork screw, setting for four people, plenty of cooking utensils, kettle, toaster and even a BBQ. We love to travel but find eating out both expensive and disappointing, we loved the kitchen feature. There were 2 separate bedrooms in our suite and a pull out sofa It was too cool to use the pool during our stay, but it appeared well maintained.

The Lakeview Motel was very well run with a very friendly staff who were quite welcoming. The unit itself was on the second floor so it was very quiet and spacious with its two bedrooms and a bathroom in the adjoining living room.

The stairs to the second floor might be an issue with some customers but the second floor is always quieter. There were quite a few rules more than the average motel but most of them made sense and were there primarily for those who need to be reminded to take care of things.

Much cleaner, larger, and more comfortable room than expected. Tile floor was a surprise for Canada, but functional and clean and would not have surprised in another country. Outside porch table and two chairs. By window comfy table and two comfy chairs. Two queens. Two nightstands. Full dresser. couple of shelves and a TV. Apartment sized fridge. Microwave. Kitchen sink. Full tub and comfy sized bathroom. Comfy beds and more than two pillows each: yeah! Counted only three or four easily accessible and available plugs so a multi-charger under the TV might be a smart move. Nothing was deluxe but everything was newer/fully functional and either in good shape or good state of repair. Initial "OMG I've gone with a low bidder how bad will it be" turned into "ya, know, this ain't bad at all, so instead of paying almost double for the BW Signature down the road, next time I'll maybe bring the girl here... and we can have dinner on the savings!".

If I nit-pick? A couple of rugs by the beds and a "charging station" somewhere in the room? But I'm being nitpicky. For the money it was an excellent value. Breakfast is NOT included. Reception hours are limited and if you arrive past 9pm it could become a real issue.
