The room was spacious. New carpet and fridge. Bathroom was nice and bright. The bedding had new fresh sheets, all the towels were Fluffy, white and no discoloration. Ali is very inviting, courteous, accomadating. She's sweet and always made time to chat. She and her husband are a very hard working couple. With buying this place a couple of years back when it was run down, they've come a long way in improving the rooms, grounds, pool etc. Loved the parking arrangement. Very happy with our stay, would recommend and will stay again ! 👍👍 Thank you Ali.

The couple who run the place are very friendly and work non-stop to keep it tidy. The pool was very clean, while neighboring motels had theirs shut down or covered up. Overall the place was fantastic value - best price in Penticton. so it is not luxury by a long shot, but it exceeded our expectations

Some of the room’s fixtures were nearing the end of their useful life. The bed could have been more comfortable. The location is on a busy street

Our hosts (single property owners and managers), Mr and Mrs Lao could not have been better hosts. As a "Genius 3" Booking.com member my wife and I have stayed at many, many (dozens and dozens) of properties since the start of Covid (remarkably, perhaps unbelievably, I know). These were the best hosts I have personally encountered in all my travels through 18 countries in the 21 months of Covid by motorcycles (both of us - if I may make a small plug for our website www.ontheroadagain.bike, any person may see this). And literally the very top value for money, including any in South Africa, any in any of the Balkan counties and northern and southern Eastern Europe, which are famously (and are in fact) super high value for money for any backpacker, "USD 100 a day" or luxury traveller. I'm sure South America is the same, I have yet to go. Actually, the only comparable are my travels through Vietnam, Burma (not Myanmar before the), Thailand 30 years ago. Thank you Mr and Mrs Lao. You deserve my custom. I am coming back several times even this as we are based in the Canadian Rocky Mountains for the next year or before we are "On the Road Again.bike (@ontheroadagain.bike). Thank you Booking.com. I think your refreshed online properties and offerings have stepped up even another notch. My son loved the pool and it was actually very clean and heated , great management very friendly also pet friendly which was amazing

The location is good because of how close it is to the beaches and stores but also maybe not a place I would let your kids walk around alone as it’s a pretty rough area with the homeless

Staff, location, kitchen etc.. were all great. Oven was old and unusually difficult to operate but overall everything was great.

Carpet reeked and was wet the whole time. Smelled of cigarettes. Pull out couch is super uncomfortable so we put the mattress on the floor bud this meant on the gross carpet.

Room was comfortable and spacious and clean. Short walk to beach. Kids loved the pool, which was very clean and well maintained.

Kitchen had all needed equipment, but a bowl would have been great. Would be good for staff to clean baseboards and radiator in bathroom.

This place was pretty good. Very clean, Very accommodating for me and my dog. Quite at night even tho it’s near road, Everything you need store wise is either across the street or very close by even to walk to. Very pleasant staff. I would stay here again.

The only thing is that the AC wasn’t working too well.

The lady who runs it’s very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. AC was great. There was a pool. There as well that wasn’t too crowded. I chatting with some others starting there when I was smoking to had been coming here for years . My family often stats here when visiting too. Good value and great area.

After road closures prevented us getting home, we quickly scrambled to find an available room for tonight. Ali was super eager to help. The bed was super comfortable, in the morning Ali showed us where to find the coffee and tea and mode the morning extra great, will definitely stay again.

The scenery is very good, close to many supermarkets so that daily life is very convenient. The room was also clean and the service was great. It's a great stopover for travel！！！

Free coffee was offered but not to my taste😭
