The location is perfect for walking, dining, cycling and the bonus was the Saturday Farmer’s Market right outside the front door! Staff is very team-oriented and friendly. Planters in the front were so beautiful and welcoming. The waiver coupon for cleaning.

The following are only observations for improvement….our stay was near to perfect. A guest left their dog (obviously unattended), barking and crying in their room and patio late in the evening and it was very upsetting. It went on for a long time. The $15 a day parking charge. The baked goods in the coffee bar, need an upgrade. They did not look appetizing.

Location is perfect and the main reason we keep coming back to this hotel. Obviously right on the water but also within walking distance to a ton of restaurants, shops, and basically anything you could ever need when visiting Penticton.

You had to pay $15 a night for parking. With the nightly price of the hotel being so much, it would have been nice for that to be included. The barking Parrot bar was right below us, which seemed to be the place to be on weekends so if you want peace and quiet don’t ask for a lake view room as you can hear the music and people through the closed balcony door, but even then there were people drunk yelling in the hallways at night.

Room was great not in a bad location. No one told us where we could use pool ect.we stayed at best Western first was told where everything was at they had a nice free breakfast everyone there bent over backwards for you.they had all the same emenitys were very clean way cheaper.

People at desk were friendly but gave us no information at all would have used pool .we ate the barking parrot in your hotel for an upscale place people dressed like they just came off the street some staff even sitting on tables talking lots people doing nothing. Our waitress was good but food food substandard. And we also paid 15 dollars to stay at your place.

The location is excellent , the staff were very helpful & friendly. The room was great , & very clean. A couple things a bit on the down side was having to pay for parking even though I was an overnight guest & that the room prices were very high compared to a month before.

I covered that in the last comment if you have to charge your overnight guests for parking maybe they should rec a discounted price. Also the room prices jumped to very pricy from the month before. You already know people are going to stay there so why hike the prices up so high.

Quick check in. Clean room. Security key for elevator. Parking on site ($15 a day.) Close proximity to city of Penticton and beach. All very walkable. Friendly staff.

Air-conditioning was on in room upon arrival. Room was cold. You can't control the system in your room. You must call down to the front desk. They control it from there. They were quick to address the issue. Recommend they have a note in the room that tells you this. We spent quite a while trying to turn the system off using the mechanism on the wall. It wasn't until we called down for help that we learned how the hotel manages all of this.

Easy check in and out. Comfy beds.

Door to refrigerator was falling off. Booked for 4 people for two nights - but only 2 towels, 2 coffees and no creamers at all provided. Had to call each time. Timely response the first couple of times. Then I just gave up calling. Shower was either cold or scalding - no middle ground. Ice machine on floor was out of order and key card only work for your own floor - so had to use stairs at end of hallway to go up/down to fetch ice.

Lovely private beach

Restaurant food was mediocre both for breakfast and dinner, nowhere for families to have a drink outside on the waterside patio in the afternoon or evening as it was an over “19” location. Very little seating in the lobby. Arrived to find our room rate would have been $60 cheaper if we had not booked through booking.com. Also had to pay for parking each day.

The room was pretty spacious, and while we were at the front of the building and not facing the lake, it was still nice looking at the market on Saturday.

We were running late and couldn't find a clear number to call the resort on. We got sent to an out of hours voice mail, but the information on the voicemail was out of date... it was a bit confusing. But there were no issues when we arrived at the resort in the end.

Ours room was facing the lake which was really nice, The cleaning staff was very nice and provided us with missing items. The coffee machine wasn't the greatest. Last year we stayed in the new building which was newer and nicer had lounging chairs on the balcony and microwave which was helpful. I thought the $15.00 a day resort credit was very nice touch which we took advantage of. Thank you for the lovely stay, we will be back!

The coffee machine was not really working that well, we didn't say anything to the front desk, everything else was good

The staff was very friendly and helpful in answering questions and making recommendations for meals. The location and view was limited because we had small dogs with us.

The hotel is suppose to be dog friendly but not really. There was a small beach area with the most stones I have seen for a while. When choosing a restaurant it had to be outside the hotel with dog friendly patios. If they were to clean up some of the stones it would make the dog friendly beach are more attractive.
