The room was quite nice and a fair value. The beds were comfortable. The rooms had appropriate amenities.

There was construction going on and I'm perfectly willing to be understanding there, but there were a few times the elevators would get tied up. The workers were very polite and gave guests the opportunity to go first, but the elevators would sometimes be going down or up one floor at a time, while guests waited in the lobby. Perhaps a service elevator would be a good idea, if it makes sense in this building. Also, test the tv remotes. The one we had didn't work. It didn't bother me really and I let the lobby know and they were receptive as they were starting to hear of this issue. I'd also like to have found a washroom on the main floor. If it was there, it was obscured in some way by the construction or there was no sign. One near the restaurant would be a good idea.

Free breakfast until 10. Usually closed well before 10. Price stayed the same even though there was a festival in town. Pool available! Which I could not find online anywhere.

AC did not work in Room 504. I did mention it to front desk and they let me know I was using the wrong switch (I was trying to change temp in the machine itself but it’s on the wall) they did tell me to try that and if it didn’t work they would come up but we were clearly leaving for the day and didn’t get back until almost midnight. Even after I had it to lowest setting on proper switch it was way too hot. Not a huge deal only thing I would have suggested is maybe offering to take a look at it while we were out since we were clearly leaving for the day.

The room was very clean and looked modern. The restaurant now looks amazing! I enjoyed breakfast, especially the breakfast sausages for having a subtle flavour compared with other brands. I actually went to ask what brand they used.

The drink machine on the third floor didn't give all my change back. I went to the front desk and they were able to give me the money back, but only after signing a form... overall a hassle when I just wanted to buy a bottle of water. One of the elevators wasn't working properly.

The staff here is always great, as this is not my first stay. The property has been under renovation for some time, so common areas are currently less than perfect. That being said, the rooms are very modern, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It seems obvious that management has done a fantastic job of renting rooms that are not near any of the construction, as to not affect anyone's stay. All in all, I think management is doing a fantastic job of presenting a welcoming environment, considering the vast renovations taking place.

Given the circumstances of the renovation, I believe they are doing a great job. The entrance area is currently a construction site, so the arrival and lobby experience is short term sub standard. That being said, they seem to be doing everything possible to maintain a positive experience for guests.

I loved that what you saw in pictures is what you got in person! The hotel staff were exceptional and the restaurant is amazing!!! The beds are super comfortable and the location is perfect! 10/10 would stay again in a heartbeat!

I thought the arcade could use some more games. The only games were Basketball, 2 shooting games, and 3 racing type games aside from the bumper cars and stuff which were super cool! I know they are in the process of renovating and stuff too so it may already he in the works to upgrade the arcade.

Clean, modern rooms, hot tub was huge and clean, linen was comfy and clean, beautiful bathroom with large shower and lighting was great. Body mirror was an added bonus for the girls. Room was spacious

Plug ins didn’t work properly for hair tools, kept coming unplugged and turning off hot tools. There were questionable characters all throughout the building (as young we females we didn’t feel comfortable leaving the room alone at night) only one elevator was working which was very slow but would be fine if the other one was operating.

The decor is lovely! The morning staff, front desk and breakfast room were lovely!

Once the elevators (only 1 working are upgraded it will be much better. The evening front desk were impatient and dismissive. Two persons on duty when we arrived at 8:30pm on Aug 28 - only 2 other check-ins but the clerks were close to rude with all of us. I am a Tour Manager having stayed in thousands of hotels and if I head staff treat my passengers like that, I would have reported it to management.

I love where the hotel is located, right by the water, the view is amazing when you’re on a high level floor

I didn’t like that breakfast is now being served to you instead of the brunch like it used to be. there were two female workers who were very rude but two male workers were very kind and went above and beyond. it was a little dirty, could definitely use a good cleaning. I did not like that everyone was waiting on each level floor for the elevator, I think while they’re renovating they should look into a new elevator system, the stairs are always on option but with two little kids and luggage makes it 100x harder.

Our deluxe king room was lovely and our request to have a harbour view was accommodated (it was a great view but the windows definitely need to be cleaned on the outside). The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The lady serving the breakfast plates was friendly. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to uptown which is great and the price per night was very reasonable. We also had a great time playing laser tag at the attached entertainment centre.

When we first arrived to check in, staff were not very welcoming and did not greet us when we walked up to the desk. The complimentary breakfast wasn’t great, although still appreciated. When we got back to the hotel after dinner, there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the lobby and the elevator, but it was gone by morning.

The room that I stayed in was beautiful. Everything was new and clean. Really great layout of the room, appreciated the desk area and comfy chair. The iron and full sized ironing board were great to have! I had a nice view out my window. Amazing view at the top floor breakfast area.

The smell in the hallway and in the rooms wasn't the best. It wasn't dirty, I suspect it may be the Might be the cleaner they use. I opened the window for about an hour after arriving in the room. The hallways were dark and dungy. The elevators were a bit unnerving in terms of the noises they made, as well their overall appearance, but did function and they were fine. Appreciated the eggs and potato wedges for breakfast but the pastries with the sign that said don't toast them, just shouldn't be put out at all. They were tough and hard. I found it odd that we were asked to give a tip on the slip of paper put onto each table when there was no service, it was a self serve breakfast.
