We stayed for 3 nights and were served full breakfasts every morning with unlimited great tasting coffee. Cindy and Mieka (sp?) were very welcoming and friendly. The early September mornings were sunny and warm enough to enjoy breakfast on the patio. It was perfect. The Inn is centrally located in the beautiful town of St. Peter's. Walkable to the Foodland, Liquor Store a few restaurants, the Canal and ocean. It is impeccably clean. We stayed in the pet friendly Brigitte Suite on the lower level. It was equipped with a mini kitchenette, small living room, queen size bedroom and spacious bathroom. Quite spacious and very clean. We also had a nice little sitting area outside of our room which we took full advantage of.

We were on the bottom floor and could hear guests above walk around the room. Not the property's fault. What I don't like are guests talking loud late in the evening in the hallway with no respect to others that may be in bed. Also no fault of the property.

Very bright, beautiful colour scheme ( sea breeze accent and hooked rug decor) well thought out design, spacious (we were in the bald eagle room). Comfortable bed. Could perhaps use a bigger table but just lovely. Walking distance to Foodland grocery and 15 min walk to Bras d’Or Inn where you can get artisan pizza. There was no more room so we ate at Louise Cozy kitchen across the street which is decent home cooked food and has delicious home made coconut cream pie.

Most of all, I liked the host Cindy. She was approachable, welcoming and a really warm person. Breakfast was amazing. I was offered a smoked tea and fell in love with it. It's very clean and comfortable. We didn't have much time to explore the area. However, there is a hike to a lighthouse nearby. I did swim in the ocean. It was very warm, surprisingly. The lake that is recognized by UNESCO is next door. Loved our stay. Thank you.

We arrived an hour early and Cindy was more than accommodating to let us check in. The place is bright and cheery and super clean and comfortable. We even had my partners cousin show up to surprise us and Cindy let us sit in the breakfast room to visit and went above and beyond with serving him coffee! She also has an amazing chocolate business which I definitely sampled! Super helpful with giving information about Cape Breton. Wishing you all the success in the world Cindy with your businesses. I just can't say enough good things...

Nothing!!! It was perfect :)

The team here are amazingly friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. We were really grateful they could be a bit flexible about our check out time as it had snowed over night and that made driving a bit tricky. The bed was super comfortable and our room was absolutely immaculate. We also really appreciated all the advice about where to eat. Cindy’s Chocolatea tea room treats also looked fabulous and she serves excellent coffee.

Lovely home cooked breakfast to order - eggs, bacon, toast, yoghurt, juice and coffee all served in the cute little cafe with an opportunity to purchase Cindy’s beautifully made chocolates.

Quiet little town so inn location didn’t allow for much choice in way of dinner options but that shouldn’t take away from the delights of this unique inn. Cindy was the perfect host.

From the friendly greeting at checkin to our departure, we felt like we were so welcome. It all was lovely. Bed super comfy, satisfying breakfast, and cleanliness everywhere was above par.

One thing and it’s a me thing… the brightness caused at sunrise and we woke up too early. We’re accustomed to a darkened room for sleeping.

Cindy was so kind and accommodating, almost made you feel like family. She was able to help me book a second night that I didn’t think was possible, and the room was so clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend the Pepperell Place Inn to anyone staying in or close to St. Peter’s, thank you for a wonderful experience!

3rd hotel of 4 in a road trip, best nights sleep I’ve had so far. the room was amazing, had everything I needed & more. bed was very comfy & it was an upgrade from the one I booked which was lovely & much appreciated.

stairs! sorry, mum is getting on a bit, I’m carrying a 7 month old baby & pregnant so getting the suitcases up the stairs was a struggle! shouldn’t need much for 1 night but babies come with a lot of stuff!

Cindy runs a great Inn Quiet location Extremely comfortable Lovely breakfast with variations. Also cafe attached for a lovely lunch Easy to visit other attractions from St Peters Highly recommend this Inn for anyone to stay in this part of Nova Scotia.
