Econolodge Huntsville

The property was very well maintained and very clean. The front desk staff was very polite and friendly. They went above and beyond to take care of our stay by ensuring that our families received rooms in the vicinity and they also ensured that our pet’s needs were met and they gave us a comfortable vinyl flooring room.

The experience could have been improved if there were portable coffee makers available in each room but it was easily available by accessing the coffee machine in breakfast area after hours.

Hotel rooms are fairly recently renovated. Laminate floor not carpet is great!

We were given a room with a door to another hotel room (despite the hotel not being fully booked) and yes some loud talkers showed up. Hotel didn't rent room the 2nd night but with a 1/2 empty hotel, putting us beside anyone wasn't good customer service. It was, however the only problem and essentially the loud talkers were not hotel's fault.

Renovated, clean rooms. Our request for the room was fulfilled, so we got quiet room on the upper floor facing back. Strong Wi-Fi signal. Fast check-in/check-out process. Fridge and microwave in the room. Quite comfy beds. Well equipped room. Hotel is located in a quiet residential area, ~10 minutes away from the town main street/center. Proximity to the Arrowhead provincial park.

Lighting - would love to add more in the room, no light at the entrance. Not good pillows. At the reception, it would be great if the guy would take his time to explain everything slowly and clearly, and being more friendly overall. Cleaning the parking area entrance, which is uphill, from the snow would demonstrate that you care. For 3-star hotel and that price the coffee maker should be available in the rooms by default.

The staff were so welcoming and helpful. We knew it would not be luxury accomodation but it was clean and comfortable. This accomodation was good value for money on the whole.

Breakfast was a little busy (and noisy) - due to a large group of young people staying there together at the time we were there. There were not enough tables for everybody. But there was enough food (continental breakfast)

Exactly what I expected. Clean, simple and inexpensive accommodation. The owners take obvious care with upkeep which I appreciate. Bonus for being dog-friendly! Location-wise it’s in a quieter part of town with a short walk to beach and river. So much nicer than the busy strip area. There’s a restaurant across the road - Westside - with really good food. Great for lunch and dinner. Tall Trees fine dining is a short walk. Check it out and make a res ahead of time! A tip: they have free coffee but if you grab some real cream to keep in your room bar fridge, you won’t have to use their powdered in your morning wake-eye. I will stay here again.

No criticism from me. I don’t stay at a budget hotel then give negative feedback about it not being five-star. The beds and amenities are exactly in line with the price. A comfortable place to lay one’s head. Cleanliness and service should be top notch no matter the price, and this place has no issues with either.

The rooms were good. This was our second time staying here. We use it as a waypoint before our camping trip in Algonquin.

Would be nice to a have a few more breakfast options (perhaps a protein option?) but otherwise it was good and the person at the front desk was making sure it was well stocked and clean.

When I made a reservation through Booking.com, the floor in the room was not carpet but it was carpet. He told me you don't have any pet you have to use only carpet room. My son has allergy so he difficult sleep there. If you have a allergy dont book here. the staff was unfriendly.

No breakfast because of covid. The room was awesome, clean, fresh, and quiet. We were traveling to Algonquin Park to see it in winter and it was convenient.

It would have been better if there was breakfast, but I understand the circumstances. Other than that everything seemed great.

The location of this motel was close to the Great Canadian trail for a morning or evening walk. It was located a ways from shopping.

The breakfast lacked nourishing food like eggs or fruit.

Next time I will book through hotel directly because I had to leave a day early so booking.com do not refund . And I didn't save any money by booking through that website.
