The gentleman owner was so welcoming. He was very busy and away from the desk, which I didn't mind at all because he said he was just a phone call away if I had any questions or problems. The king bed and sheets were amazingly comfortable. And the bar fridge was great for putting my snack in from my travels.

Because I cleaned for a living, I did notice a few things that could have been cleaned a bit better. Toothpaste splashing on the wall in front of the bathroom sink, the light sconce was very dusty, and the patio door was very dirty. These are not complaints by any means, just, I hope, helpful observations.

I wasn’t expecting much for the price, but when I got there I was blown away!! The room was beautiful and the bed was soooo comfy! The gentleman that checked me in was very kind. I love that there is a restaurant on site which also had great food and excellent service. I was on a motorcycle trip and was pretty tired at the end of the day so it was nice not having to leave the property to get dinner after a long day.

Could have had more variety of food for breakfast. Some yogurt and fruit or something. It’s a continental breakfast though so I wasn’t expecting too much.

I was looking for something with a cottage country feel. I initially tried to book at Deerhurst, however they required a minimum of a three night stay. this place did not disappoint. our room was very clean and super cute. We had the Pine Suite and it included two fireplaces, cottage decor and a little seating area with a television. it was perfect.

We got up the next morning for breakfast, however we decided to hold off and go out for breakfast. They had grab and go items out, however we wanted something with a little more substance.

beautiful lodge, great decor and inviting facilities, very friendly new owner who treated us like royalty. The nice little continental breakfast offered suited us perfectly , we wouldn’t have expected anything! AJ was a very attentive host, and also respectful of our privacy, I was happy the front door is manned or locked with key entry for safety as I was travelling alone with my toddler. very nice updates to bathrooms and rooms!

there were a few stairs which were fine for us but might deter a few people . I’m not sure if there are ground level rooms.

We will Definitely be back! This was a random trip for my husband and I. We woke up, packed up and started driving not knowing where we were going. We came across this lovely gem in the woods! It was down a beautiful snowy road. Our first impression of the owner AJ, was so pleasant and inviting! Our room was so cozy, we much rather cute and quaint over than the average hotel. Plus it’s pet friendly!! This place checked all our boxes! Can’t wait to visit again and again! For our little getaways! ❤️

The rooms were nice, bed very comfortable. Bathroom clean.

The bathroom in the two bedroom suit should have more towels, it was set for two guests. Had to share my towel. The breakfast that is included is pretty poor. We had to search for milk, did not find any, so cereals were dry. We did find half and half cream behind the bar (that was not part of the breakfast area). I think they could do better or not provide breakfast.

The location 4 minutes from Port Sydney Beach and 15 minutes from Huntsville was perfect.

Air conditioning in all the rooms is coming soon, but with the fan on and windows open it was cool enough at night. I look forward to the new restaurant partner because it would have been nice to have food on the property and a little more than continental breakfast. I will be returning to this property in the future.

We stayed at 3 Pines Lodge as part of our trip round Canada. It was a really comfortable and large bed. Was also super quiet in the evenings so easy to sleep. The Lady and family that run the place are so welcoming and lovely. I wasn’t feeling too well so my boyfriend asked for some mint tea at 10pm at night which they were more than happy to help. Plus gave us some watermelon which made me feel so much better! I read reviews before we booked saying that the breakfast wasn’t good, but to be honest it was great. It was exactly what we needed and there was plenty of options, it kept us full until lunch. There isn’t air-con there, which is not a problem for us. We were also prewarned about this so was absolutely fine.

The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest, the toilet itself and sink area was clean. There was just a few loose hairs which definitely weren’t ours and some in the towels. (which was probably just from the person who cleaned the bathroom) But again the owners were more than happy to help and replace the towels. So can’t complain really.

I loved the location where my husband and I could get away from the busyness of life and forget everything. The host Indi was very kind and I liked a lot his warm hospitality. When my friend came to visit us from Toronto. Indi welcomed him with lovely coffee and sweets. He sat with us talking with us. When I wanted to pay his service he told me that it was free. My husband and I like kind Canadians like Indi. Thank you.

The breakfast was ok. But if they improve the quality of breakfast that would be great.

Very nice and charming hotel, really liked the location close to the lake and 15 min drive from Huntsville; large and inviting lounge resting area near reception with a fire place and lots of space to relax; rooms were great in size and decor with comfortable beds. There was breakfast provided which was an added bonus. The owners are friendly and ready to help you if need be and doing a great job at maintaining the place.
