We travel with a service dog and we are usually given a hard time about it at reception. However, at the capri Inn, we showed the documentation, and they were very kind and accepting about us having our dog in the room. The staff at reception when we checked in was very friendly. In fact, we came to see the solar eclipse, and I asked if we could find glasses anywhere, and an astronomer happened to be staying in the inn and gladly gave us some of his glasses. What serendipity. The location of the Capri Inn is convenient and I am now drinking my morning coffee overlooking a beautiful pond and I have seen blue Jays, red wing blackbirds and about 20 other kinds of birds! I highly recommend staying here.

We arrived after 2100 and a very warm and friendly welcome by Ben was the start of a lovely stay. The room was spotlessly clean, cosy with plenty of clothing space including plenty of hangers and lovely clean towels. There was the thoughtful touch of a nightlight in the bathroom which was very welcome. Also nice to see was a bible which was a pleasant surprise as it's rare to see one in hotels these day and will be appreciated by travellers who wish to read one. The next morning we awoke to a most beautiful, sunny lake view with swans and ducks and met the just as warm and friendly Julia. Muffins, breakfast bars and juice are provided in the refreshment room every morning. The hotel is centrally placed to walk to a variety of food outlets for breakfast, lunch, dinner and shops. It's on a bus route which will take you to the malls, or equally its just as easy and not too far out of the way to order a reasonably priced uber. For UK travellers, to make a comparison for a reasonably priced stay it's way better than a Travelodge! The room was perfect for our stay and the proprietors do/have done their best to/and superbly upkeep the hotel to a good standard. I would stay here again, and would recommend this hotel.

Nothing really. The only piece of constructive criticism I'd like to add is: I thought a grab bar should be on the wall for stepping in the bath to shower. However, this wouldn't stop me from staying here again.

Spacious, (had a seating area) comfortable, spot to put luggage, towel hooks in bathroom Room was clean, and bed was comfortable A spot to but your snow / wet shoes if needed by the door. Simply grab and go breakfast snack bar with juice and muffins / snacks

The night we stay it was an extremely windy night Wind gust up to 65 mph Did get some whistling through the window. Informed the front desk Front desk was very concerned about this and was told they would talk to the room remolding crew that was on site to check and fix as needed.

I arrived after midnight on a last minute reservation and the Manager Julia greeted me pleasantly and warmly, making me feel welcome, and sent me off in the morning with a smile and a namaste. The room was sparkling clean, and had a pleasant view of the Twelve Mile Creek. The bed was firm with crisp, fresh sheets. Some thoughtful ammenities like a coffee pot, iron and ironing board were welcome, and good television service made the stay nice. I would happily stay there again, not the least because it is quite good value for the money.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating to any help requests we had, even late when we returned. The beds were extremely comfortable. The location was right off the QEW and so easy to find. We liked the inclusion of a local map in the info binder to show restaurants and gas amenities in the immediate area. Two outdoor chairs are provided right outside the room and an ashtray for smokers - keeps the cigarette butts in one area and makes for easy cleanup. Reception moved our room to the main floor to accommodate a leg injury for which stairs would be difficult. We were very grateful for this switch, especially upon seeing the Inn had no vacancy by the time we returned for sleeping. A busy place is a good sign! We chose this Inn based on online reviews and award status and were happy to spend the night here.

We had difficulties with the tv which required support but was promptly remedied. There were wet coffee grinds left in the coffee maker that were missed - we were given a replacement basket right away. The breakfast selections were prepackaged muffins, granola bars and Rice Krispie squares - good for a take away but were expecting baked pastries and maybe fresh fruit.

We are so happy we found this place! It is very conveniently located and the staff was exceptionally friendly. It is an extremely well maintained motel. Even though the decor is 'vintage' it is so well taken care of - you can see the pride of ownership throughout. It was nice to have something other than the sterile grey of newer hotels... The beds were very comfortable, the shower wonderful and the room temperature was perfect. We would definitely stay here again.

Nothing to note

The check was so pleasant, because the staff was so pleasant. Not gushy, just very very nice and it felt genuine. The room was very clean, and there we noticed little details that went beyond necessity...for example, the beginning of the toilet paper was folded decoratively. It was sweet. Okay, but the view! I think we had the best room, and out of the large window, and from my bed, I could see an interesting bridge and the river. It's a bad photo of the view from our room, and a photo of the concert we were there for. The weather wasn't great, but the view and the service --- and Chris de Burgh --- were all wonderful!

Just this...the room was cold.

We LOVED EVERYTHING about the Capri Inn. From the check in welcome, to check out, it was our home away from home for one night. We had a ground floor room with a view of the lake. Perfect amount of space, coziness, comfortable bed, ALL the amenities and then some, of a big hotel chain without the extra price tag.... free parking too! we will be back again soon! XOXOX ❤️

This is our go-to hotel when visiting Niagara Falls. The location is great - just off the highway. Surrounded by several restaurants; walking distance to Tim Hortons and MacDonald's. The room is a bit dated but it has everything we need: coffee, fridge. Beds are comfortable but the pillows are too soft. However, the rooms have extra pillows. Very clean and quiet.

Was very happy with the cleanliness of the room, the comfort of the bed and the general service from the staff.

The fridge in our room froze everything as opposed to keeping it cool. There may have been an issue with the temperature gage. Also perhaps more pastries (such as croissants, danish) to be included in the free breakfast.
