The hotel is new after going through many renovations. What they have done is excellent. Nice rooms, comfortable beds, lots of lighting and fridge/microwave. What they have completed makes this hotel seem newer. It was advertised as Adult Only on one website which was nice. At the time we were there, they were still completing some parts of the renovation including the breakfast area. That is why I am not giving it a 10. What they had for breakfasts wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. I have been told that there are plans to offer more hot options once they have the area completed. If they offer options like many other hotels do now, it will be a great addition.

We were really glad to have a parking space behind the hotel as the lighting is bright and no dark areas. This was important as this hotel is downtown. There isn't alot of parking behind the hotel but they have a lot across the street. We were just happy to not be across the street.

I was very happy with the staff. I was having vehicle troubles and was forced to stay in Thunder Bay unexpectedly. The gentleman that was working the morning I checked in. Went out of his way to accommodate me. He was very helpful and made me feel comfortable in an otherwise very uncomfortable situation. I'll be staying at this hotel every time I visit thunderbay from now on.

If I had to pick something I didn't like about my stay. The only thing I would have changed . Would be that I'd have brought overnight supplies. As I was without a lot of my personal hygiene products. Definitely not anything the hotel Could be faulted for.

The hotel was new, clean and staff was friendly. The lady helping with the breakfast bar was very helpful.

The hotel was located in what seemed to be in a sketchy part of town. It was not very easy to see the name of the hotel. The now open banner was possibly covering up the hotel name. We drove by once then finally decide that must be it. Parking was across the street. The room was a little cramped with the furniture. The price shown when I booked with booking.com was $112.00 plus tax and when we checked in it was $149.00 plus taxes. When I questioned the price she checked and said the $149.00 was correct. I couldn't argue because I had trouble loading the booking.com app to get my confirmation.

I initially eliminated this hotel as an option when I was searching for a reasonably priced place to stay in Thunder Bay. I'm glad I went back to it and looked a little closer. It is a uniquely and beautifully and artistically decorated hotel! It was exceptionally clean, quiet and comfortable. There is a good selection of restaurants within a couple blocks of walking. And the staff were really helpful and friendly.

I initially skipped over this property because the outside pictures gave the impression it was in a less desirable area of TB. There did seem to be a number of 'homeless' people around and there several buildings boarded up and painted with graffiti. The location was therefore less desirable in that sense. However, there were more 'working' buildings than non and enough volume of people we did not feel unsafe.

I had an emergency and had to stay overnight in Thunder Bay. My usual places were not available and I was blessed to have found your new facility. The staff was very helpful and accommodating and checked me in right away which was very much appreciated as I had had a very stressful day already. Even though they were not yet finished their renovations they made a place for me. The room was nicely done up and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the big screen TV was great. I ordered a meal and the front desk delivered it to my room...great service.

It's not that I didn't like it as I was aware things were not finished yet. There was no hot water even after running it for a long time. There could have been a shelf in the shower to hold shampoo and wash cloth. The mini fridge was covered in construction dust which did not matter because I didn't need it anyway.

The property is great - freshly renovated and super clean. There is an elevator too. The bed was EXTREMELY comfortable - it was the best sleep I'd had in months. Awesome place to relax. We were on a road trip across Canada and just needed to rest, and this was the perfect place. As a plus, their toiletries were actually nice!!

The area is pretty sketch - but if you remain aware of your surroundings and don't linger outside too much, and maybe don't leave valuables in your car, you'll be fine. Best if you have someone with you, or a group of people even.

the breakfast was very poor. They shouldn`t have bothered to offer it. Coffee was luke warm. No lids for the cups. No juice. Only had yogurt, boiled eggs, and cereal, no toast, nothing hot. Thank goodness there`s a McDonald`s next door. I appreciate that the renovations may not yet be complete, but for a premium hotel they should offer only a good quality service. If the restaurant wasn`t ready yet, they`d be wiser not to offer any breakfast, but maybe at least a proper coffee.

Beds were comfortable and room very clean

Seems to be in stage of development and staff training. Room was generally comfortable but lacked items one would normally expect like bathroom and tub mat, glasses for drinking, etc. Air conditioner was very loud, to the extent that we switched it off so it wouldn't wake us up when it started up. Reception desk was unattended in the morning and no way to find staff. However I'm assuming this is just growing pains and these will be smoothed out soon.

The owner and staff where so welcoming ,friendly ,and really made the stay .the room was very clean and i could tell they had put alot of effort into making the rooms unique and welcoming.

The only neg was the parking ,tons of parking but being the location of hotel and some of the sketchy people in the neighborhood. Spoke to owner about this and they have plans to fence off and secure this area and they do have security cameras in this spot so i would 100% stay here again

Seems like this is best value hotel in the city on most days. Friendly and helpful check in staff, even though i was probably annoying them. 509 room was big, modern, good view, and fairly quiet. Comfortable bed.

slippery stains on night table and floor was not vacuumed. Some hotels use room sanitizer that bothers my lungs even though its barely detectable by my nose. Room 509 was ok though..
