The Sunnyside Inn must get its name from the warm and sunny disposition of the fellow who runs it-- friendly but not obtrusive, answered all our questions. You can see he genuinely cares about the place. From the outside it may look a bit outdated but INSIDE it is sparkling clean, and the bathrooms have more new gadgets than any modern hotel I've seen. The room was a nice size, with two queen size beds and a small fridge. There's even a little porch or deck out back, through which I watched a gentle, rosy sunrise. Full marks for this one!

We liked this motel. It was small, in that it only has 25 or so rooms, it was one story and most of the rooms were away from the street though there are a few that face. It has a green / park like space which adds to the quietness. The room was newly and tastefully renovated and they had coin operated laundry which we used as we travel light being on a motorcycle. The exterior looks older but don’t judge this motel by its cover. It was great value. We liked that we park right outside of our room and it was only one floor so no one above to make noise. We would stay again.

Just an average looking motel from the outside but the room was updated, really clean and comfortable. The grounds were beautiful and it was really quiet. Location was only a short drive from shopping and the boardwalk by the ocean. Only negatives were that one bed was a little uncomfortable and the toilet sounded like a car doing a loud burn out when you flushed.. really it did! Overall, we had a great stay at the sunny isle motel.

I knew I was going to love this place as soon as I checked in and had a lovely chat with Kendra, who owns and manages the property with her husband. She is hospitality personified! Staying at the "Sunny Isle" was so relaxing - the room was spotless, the air conditioner worked perfectly, the new beds were a dream, and the bathroom looked brand-new! I loved having direct access from the parking lot, and the bonus of a second door to the outside to a private deck overlooking the beautifully landscaped grounds with lovely flower beds. I will stay here again - or maybe try Kendra's other property across the street, "The Cairns Motel". Either way, I look forward to another wonderful getaway in PEI!

This place utterly surprised us , very impressed with cleanliness, updated room , granite counter top super and comfy mattress. The cherry on top was make up removal wipe for ladies my wife appreciated! I can’t compliment enough how serious this owner is about their business. Kudos to you ! The spoiler was a moose made out of the white towels on our bed ! When I come back to PEI I will head to the same establishment.Higly recommended this motel !

Very clean, quiet, and quant! Beautiful property with water views, lots of room for the kids to play. We had someone right beside us and you would never know they were there - soundproof and family friendly :)

You have to check in across the road so getting over there was hard to cross the road and back with no crosswalk and xx traffic. Would have been nice to be notified before getting to the site.

The location was good. Close to the main highway to get to go the coastal drive. It was clean. It had laundry facilities, which is great for travelers.

The only thing is when they make up the room , they don't touch the bed and leave it not made up. I know it might sound petty, but if your job is to clean the room and stock up with what is needed. Should have a checklist to mark off.

The deck became our living room. Lovely grounds with trees and wildlife, in town. Although on a main street, the noise of the traffic was not an issue. Good sized bathroom. The owners (also owned the ore across the street) were very friendly and accommodating, going out of their way for us.

The room was a bit crowded but the deck gave us lovely open space. The coffee maker was a disappointment but the owners had coffee at the other location across the street.

Excellent customer service, owner was very friendly. Room was very clean, smelled freshly done. In a convenient location right as you enter the town. Beautiful gardens out back. Place was full but we weren't disturbed all weekend.

Breakfast options in the area are limited, which is a problem since it's not an option with the motel. There is a great diner up the road that gets very busy very quickly, otherwise you're going into town to a drive-thru chain.

Clark's is a family owned-operated motel, everyone on staff is friendly and professional. The rooms are a good size, spotlessly clean and are amazingly quiet. We stayed for 10 nights and never heard guests on either side of us. We stayed in room 2 with a balcony and it was perfect. The rooms in front face the street but honestly the rooms are set back far enough that when you close your room door, you don't hear anything. The Wifi is strong. The beds are comfortable. Super convenient that each room has a designated parking space. I can't say enough good things about Clark's.
