I love the Whitehorse Motel. I actually was hesitant to write this review because its such a hidden gem and I wanted to keep it to myself. It is a budget motel, but its always very clean and the STAFF ARE AMAZING. I love them. Charlottetown is a very small city so don't let the location of this motel deter you, its literally only 10 minutes from anything and 3 mins from the main mall. 10/10 would recommend. I've stayed here almost every weekend this year and have never had a complaint. I wouldn't stay here if you're picky cause some things are a little old but like i said for the price, you can't go wrong.

Only issue was that one day when I got back to my room there was a huge van parked in the spot right outside my room - I thought the spot was for my room but when I questioned why it was parked there - I was told it was all public parking and people could park anywheres - it was inconvenient to drag stuff from car to room from another spot - also the van was so big it blocked any view from the room and even it’s back was over the walkway making it narrow to get by and get into the room - thankfully that only happened one of the days I was there - other than that everything was excellent - friendly staff and very responsive

Great location, right down the road from downtown Charlotte town. And there is a pin ball arcade that's about 10 mins down the road. It was clean and stocked well, we had a queen deluxe and it was equipped with a little kitchenette. The bathroom was a little run down but clean. The price was fair for what the accommodations were. I'd recommend this place.

The shower was in need of sprucing up but that's about it.

I liked the room with little fridge and stove. Staff was helpful and super friendly.

The two pillows on the bed was very flat and I required more blanket. I went to Walmart and bought a pillow and comforter and was happier.

We enjoyed the quiet, modernized and clean stay. The staff were great and allowed a cash deposit as we had no credit card. That was such a great alternative to allow a cash deposit instead of a card. This was the only hotel out of 6 hotels in the city that accepted cash. Thank you so much for your help!!!!

The hotel would be much better if it were more in the city/town closer to the night life.

It was a great location Central for all of our PEI sight seeing!

The beds were a bit uncomfortable, seemed like the mattresses were on a slant. The air conditioner unit was in the middle of the window so at night when it came time to close the drapes the AC unit was blocked by the drapes and it got warm.

The room The staff looked after me, getting a door chain fixed, providing a hair dryer and even threw a tablecloth I washed into their dryer. Much appreciated!

The door chain was not attached to the frame. The locking knob didn’t seem like enough.

very quiet and clean and good rates I asked for early check in for 2 and when I got there it was not even started so they kindly gave us a room immediately that was already been cleaned 😀 it was small but clean

if you drive by the place there is a median ) you have to go way to the end of street and turn and go way up the round about again !!

the AC being hilariously not near a power plug, and the power cord to said uncleaned AC unit being ziptied closed. but it was really fine lol 🤭

Comfortable, clean and though it is beside a busy road, it was very quiet. If needed, the stove was full size and the fridge was larger than most motel rooms. The room was exactly as depicted in the photos.

The floor was a little gritty. Before going to bed, I made sure to wash my feet as to not dirty the pristine white sheets.
