Great location Good size room Friendly staff, one was super happy to tell us about Montreal and where to visit from where we were. Beds were comfortable and temperature control was good. Fresh bottled water every day
Central Air system was very loud, had to sleep with earplugs. Noise from the hallways was quite loud. We were concerned about how light the blanket on the bed was and when my partner went to ask for an extra the reception said he didn't have his key and was about to leave for the night. Turned out the blanket was very good despite being light so we slept well anyway. Some areas around the dresser and fridge could do with better cleaning. Bathroom is very small and shelf in bathroom is unnecessarily long, you have to be careful not to smack your head on it while on the toilet.

Extraordinary l;ocation for a near city center hotel -- 2-3 minutes from the main subway stop for the city, 5-6 minutes from the central bus station for the intercity and local buses. Nicely restored small ( 15-16 rooms) space efficient hotel. The staff -- Alex and Mira (sp?) were great. They were so helpful providing neighborhood and city informaiton. And, the hotel has an up and coming coffee bar where specialty coffees, croissants, and fruit were available. One needs to be aware of the lack of an elevator as the staqirs would be a barrier for the mobility challenged and the rooms are on the sencond and third floors.
Lack of an elevator. I did fine; howerver, with luggage to carry and up down, this coul d be an issue.

The location is excellent for public transit and walking to a variety of great Montreal locations, such as Mont Royal, the Old Port and City, and the Plateau and Mile End. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful and combined our two bookings so we could stay in the same room for the week when we extended our stay.
Montreal is a city of stairs. Anyone with mobility challenges should be aware that the stairs to the rooms are steep and might not be suitable for someone who struggles with such.

Location was convenient, close to the Old Port, it was very clean & safe. Shower was great, beds were comfortable & lots of pillows. (It’s on the edge of Gay Village which isn’t apparent from the address, a note for more conservative visitors).
The a/c couldn’t be turned on or off from the room & it was off most of the time. However there was a fan that could be plugged in & windows could be opened, so was comfortable in the end. Stairs to the rooms were very steep but there’s a sturdy handrail.

For a small room to sleep and shower during our visit to MTL, this was a great option. The killer feature of this hotel was it’s immediate proximity to the Berri-UQAM station, where you can get both the Orange and Green lines, making nearly the entire city accessible by a 1 minute walk. The room was cheap and comfortable, though you won’t be wanting to spend time at the hotel because the rooms are quite small. But if you’re in MTL to see the city and go to events, and need a quiet and comfortable space to sleep and bathe, this is the spot. I’ll definitely be checking for vacancies here the next time we’re in town.

Pierre was so incredibly helpful when we called at 2am looking for a room. He was very friendly and accommodating. He even moved his car when we arrived at 3am so we could grab a free parking spot for our stay. We ended up staying two nights and then coming back to Montreal a few days later to stay two more nights. The hotel was cute and clean and all the staff were fantastic. It's also located a few seconds from a very popular metro stop which we used many times to avoid driving in Montreal.
There is a hotel/bar across the street that attracts a loud crowd, it was fine for us because we are night owls but if you're sensitive to noise it's good to know. Also the hotel is not accessible, the stairs are quite steep. The staff helped us with our bags and we were very grateful but if you struggle with stairs it's not the hotel for you.

We loved the location being so close to a major Metro Station. Every service provided within the hotel made the experience comfortable and accommodating. We had no issues with entry or receiving local recommendations from the staff.
We did not like that there were no hooks to hang stuff from. The temperature in the building was cool but we never discovered a way to cool the room. Something to boil water in the room would have been nice for tea or quick fixes.

Super nice place, very good location, nearby is a metro station, there are also some markets etc. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Very nice hotel.
The bathroom was a little bit smelly and one light was a bit broken. We also found some clothes (I think pants or a bra) behind the cabinet (cause we wanted to reach the socket). Another thing is there were only two socket (one behind the cabinet with fridge, one in the bathroom).

I had a wonderful repeat stay at hotel Le Coach. parking around the hotel is surprisingly plentiful and the accommodations were clean and well-kept as usual. The staff, Remi in particular, were very accommodating; I've had some of the best espressos of my life from this place while I waited in the lobby!
there seems to be a higher concentration of homeless people than I remembered around the hotel. I feel like this is the same situation for most businesses around the city.
