OTL Gouverneur Sherbrooke

We loved just about everything!!! The room was lovely and comfortable. Everything was top quality. You could really tell it was a 5-star accommodation. The breakfast each morning was exceptional also. Delicious, quality food options. The waffle batter was amazing. The fresh fruit was superb and every staff member was so helpful and kind.

The only thing I didn't prefer was the pillow. It sunk in and flattened immediately once you laid your head down. The mattress and other linens were perfectly comfortable, however.

the price is excessive and I will think about going elsewhere next time. I booked the same room many times last fall and it was 50$ cheaper. what the hell??? Also, EVERY time I go for the breakfast I get questioned by the staff if I already had the breakfast that day?? This makes NO sense, since it is an all you can eat breakfast, and I can eat as much as I want. It is NOT nice to feel like you are being suspected of trying to cheat the hotel. Why must staff check off your name/room number anyway? Is it really a problem that people come off the street to have a free breakfast? Very unclassy and cheap. Also your coffee is terrible.

overall the hotel is high quality, especially considering it's in such a small city. We found this hotel in our trip to Quebec from Boston and sherbrook is right in the middle of our 9hour drive. Hotel really high quality, beautiful, new, clean, high quality room especially the bed, Nespresso coffee, high quality breakfast, really everything. In just <2months we stays 3 times here already, and it will be our goto place whenever we need to stay around the region. Oh yes the spa was amazing! The pool was a bit of a joke considering it's size and completely indoor without even a window. However it doesn't bother me.

Pool, I suggest you just remove that tiny pool and give guest free or discounted voucher to your spa which is great

OTL was such a wonderful hotel. The service, staff, gym, Wifi connection, and even TV were great. Considering the super cold days at the end of December, we had a very welcomed and warm stay there that gave us the opportunity to also visit the beautiful city of Sherbrooke. The staff from reception, room service, breakfast area and all were always smiling and so welcoming. We really had a great vacation and will be back. -) BTW, we got there at 3PM and although the check-in time was at 4PM, we were welcomed with big smile, Also, unlike the other hotels with checkout at 10 or 11, the checkout time is at noon which made our last day of stay even more hassle-free and fun.

The hotel was beautiful inside and outside. Very clean and well maintained. The continental breakfast had a vast selections of items and even a made-to-order omelet bar. Plenty of options for our 3 year old. The pool facility was awesome. Never overly busy and always clean. Parking was never hard to find. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was on a main drag but still very quiet. Lots of places to eat nearby and a wonderful restaurant in the hotel open for dinner daily.

beautifully appointed - bed great. lighted, tilt-able make up mirror, cords for plugging in devices, iPad like device for alarm clock, music, bathroom amenities high quality, breakfast was fantastic with a very wide selection of hot and cold foods - complete with fresh omelette/eggs. very close to restaurants. Yanis ( front desk staff) staff recommended Pacini ( 3 minute walk) for outstanding Italian food. only downside is that there are only 2 of these amazing hotels. outstanding value. can’t wait to go back.

absolutely nothing. clearly exceeded expectations

The property was recommended by friends who live in Sherbrooke, as their view of the newest and nicest. They were right! The included breakfast was such a standout (when compared with the typical “free” breakfasts in the U.S.). A wide variety of options including fresh French style pastries (croissants, pain au chocolat… and fresh, not the long bagged stuff we get here!).

The breakfast is excellent. The hotel is exceptionally modern and the facilities are of 5 star quality. Lack of cleaning staff was an issue during our stay. The original room that we were assigned had a TV and IPad that did not work. The duvet cover on the bed was stained and the room had not been properly cleaned after the previous guests. We requested a room change.which staff facilitated. The following day, our request for a room clean was not completed due to lack of cleaning staff.

Room preparation and cleaning as noted above

Clean room with excellent comfy mattress, feather + memory foam pillows and feather blankets. Good pool and jacuzzi. Surprisingly great gym with free weights and many other options. On top of all other good things we found in this hotel, there is truly great breakfast with lots of variety.

They could probably work a bit on the price, but other than that really nothing to complain about.

Breakfast included and spa/gym/pool included. On top of typical western style good breakfast, it has the omelettes made live with toppings you choose, very good. Waffles are nice. Spa is cozy with a type of swing chair in the resting area! Staff are very welcoming and professional. Shower is clean and water pressure very adequate. There aren't too many nice restaurants around but it's okay. Close to the cycling path for a nice 10km run. Reach Mont Orford in 25min drive! Plenty of parkings for their customers. Would definitely come back!
