Travelodge Suites by Wyndham Regina - Eastgate Bay

It was clean, well appointed, pet friendly and easy to check in. There were super friendly staff who went out of their way to call me personally on the day of check in to ensure we received a pet friendly room. The continental breakfast was nice and allowed us to get back on the road right away the next morning without having to stop again.

The pet friendly rooms are on the 3rd floor, but it is not as much a complaint as a small inconvenience because we had an excited dog and bags to get up the stairs.

Good location and nice rooms

Looked a little sketchy from the outside. New siding/coat of paint would do wonders. Also, I was in room 226 and was upgraded to that king suite which I greatly appreciate. However, the new tv in the bedroom was stuck on demo mode. It would play cable for about 20 seconds then go back to demo mode. Just thought you should know, plus the cable connection itself is a little iffy.

The staff are exceptional- welcoming, friendly and helpful. The hotel is well situated (right off the main highway) and quiet. The room is well equipped with a fridge and microwave and coffee etc. . The price of the room was very reasonable and even included breakfast. The breakfast could have more variety but the staff explained that this is something that is being slowly put into place post covid.

I liked most everything but unfortunately the thermostat in our room wasn’t working and so the room was too hot. But we were able to open the window which helped considerably. I only mentioned this problem when we checked out and the issue was dealt with almost immediately. I now know that had we let the staff know of this problem the night we checked in that this would have been dealt with. And we were pleasantly surprised when we received our receipt. We saw that the price of the room was reduced to compensate for the faulty thermostat. How awesome is that!

nothing bad to say. most guests seems to have a purpose -work/travelling like me or work crews who need a place to stay. convenient access to basic needs shopping, chill out drinking establishments and qsr food establishments. staff is accommodating -i forgot about the saskatchewan time change and arrived earlier than scheduled. they let me check in n/p. breakfast is included, no bacon, no eggs but still very good. -oatmeal, cereal, waffles, juice, coffee, tea, breakfast sandwiches, toast. you'll be ready to hit the road and do whatever you are doing.

google. google sucks. it recommended a nearby place where i could pick up some perogies/cabbage rolls/eastern european grub for dinner. i get there -looks as if they no longer exist. went to co op and picked up a rotisserie chicken. google...google sucks.

we stayed in a ground floor king suite with our dogs - this had exterior access as well as interior door which made it extremely easy to take our dogs out in the evening and not disturb anyone ! the suite was very spacious and I liked that the bedroom was separate from the rest of the space .

Checkin and checkout were super friendly and efficient. Room was extremely comfortable and quiet, and I was located on the main floor which made travelling with my two small dogs very good. Breakfast was nice and fresh.

I could not figure out how the shower worked so took a bath instead. The toilet is an old model that uses lots of water, is slow and not really good. But I used the women’s toilet just down the hall, and it was much more efficient.

Would definitely come back again to visit in the future and recommend anyone to come here! Huge thank you to all the Staff and Management (Nelson, Susan, Randel, Bonita) at the Country Inn and Suites for making our stay here very special! We were extremely pleasantly surprised at the decorations, gifts and welcome presents they prepared for us for our honeymoon! They have certainly gone above and beyond to welcome us as this is was our first time visiting Regina and Saskatchewan! The room and bathrooms were extremely clean, staffs were very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast as previous reviews have mentioned were very delightful. They had a Grab and Go style pancakes, breakfast sandwiches, muffins, water, juices, yogurt, and coffee/tea. They have gone way above and beyond, and we are super thankful to them. Thank you for the amazing Saskatchewan hospitality!

The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and tidy. I particularly liked the location of the hotel.

I didn't like the breakfast. It was too basic and monotonous. One would easily get tired of it especially if you are staying there for more than 3 days. I also think the rooms are over priced.

Very important to have a bath mat in bath tub for having a shower, so you weren't scared of slipping. All the staff at the Hotel were polite and would go out of there way to make your stay more comfortable. the Front Office Manager and the Lady Desk clerk were so nice to talk to and Accommodating. Out of our twelve stays in hotels over the past months this1st. and 2nd. stay on this trip we found this Hotel to be the best in everything. the best for a restful night s sleep. Being Pandemic times and mosts hotels across Canada having lunch bag Breakfasts this Hotel had the freshest fruit and muffins etc bar none. A very warm arrival and a very delightful Check-Out.

There was nothing that I did not like about this Hotel

Once we got the air conditioner working, the room was comfortable and spacious. Bed was comfy. Shower was also effective. Breakfast was complimentary.

Location- was difficult to access and the parking was also problematic. $50 damage deposit, seems excessive and who knows when it will be returned?
