I like the location, the cost, and the amenities. I wasn't expecting such a large room. It was impeccable. I didn't even need any of the luxuries of my room but it sure was nice and comfortable. Location was important to me. I think there are other hotels like the JW Marriot, Crown, maybe another one or two that are in the basic vicinity that would have all worked. I liked that the unit had a washing machine. I was able to do laundry the day before checking out, so no stinky luggage!

I didn't like the checkout experience. It took too long and people behind me jumped the queue. It would have been better to separate the lines for checking in and checking out and have a visible queue. Another issue was not with the hotel itself but my GPS. I couldn't search Hotel Intercontinental on my phone. At least not the location I was staying in. I called a Didi, chose the only location that came up but i was taken to another location. Not even another Hotel Intercontinental. Some other no-name hotel. So I think they need to improve their visibility on various GPS, using their English name, and full name of the location (Chengdu Residences).

Friendly & helpful staff. Daily replenishment of toiletries, water bottles & fresh towels. Linked to a mall & walking distance to eateries. Ms Tina Zhang patiently answered our questions during check-in & explained the charges during check-out. Overall, pleasant experience throughout.

Some minor issues were the lack of English speaking staff and missing items when we ordered room service. However these were rectified quickly & very professionally.

My husband and I booked for four days but ended up staying for ten days. The suite layout and facilities were excellent and the staff extremely kind, helpful and efficient. The location is good and the breakfast both for Chinese and western food excellent. I would particularly like to thank Hom, Michael and Lisa on the front desk and Mark and Keith and all the restaurant team - you made us very welcome!

Everything was good

Location is within walking distance to all places of interest. It only take 5 to 10 mins if you want to take a car ride. Walking is easy too. This serviced apartment is connected to a nice shopping mail with lots of coffee shops and restaurants. There is a convenient store near by to get snack and beer. You can find some local eateries nearby like hotpot, seafood and BBQ.

It's a well equipped apartment/suite. Beds are very comfortable. Staff on the first evening when we checked in late was so helpful she even used her phone to help us order takeaway, very impressed.

On our third day, we approached the front desk to ask about any tour available, a lady staff wasn't really interested to help us. I would have given an excellent rating regarding the staff, because of her, I have to rate just good!!

Words can’t really describe the nice feeling and atmosphere the hotel gives you - it’s like being home away from home, and your home is an amazing & luxury apartment with amazing view over Chengdu city - housecleaning, amazing breakfast which leaves you dreamy about it - all the amenities you could ask for ( and more) and on top of that you have amazing saunas, swimming pools, playground for adults and kids - gym/ table-tennis / pool with everything you could wish for including a stunning/amazing view. Did i mention we had balcony on a skyscraper? I wish I had that at home. Not to forget that almost all the staff speak English and are super duper friendly and helpful (helped me in too many ways) - or they find you one that can. Though I was finished? This hotel is really of the highest standard - and it has an amazing shopping center with more foods/drinks stores, starbucks, hairdressers and basically anything you could want and need. On top of that again - the hotel is located in centre of Chengdu! - a stroll outside and you are in the city centre booming with amazing food stores, smells, more shopping-centers and cafés. Room generally was clean, however, there was a once, my tea cup beside my bed was not washed. Room keeping only refilled the water n make the bed and toilet cleaning.

I booked three rooms, one for couple, the other two room for 4 ladies which the two room is good, but the last room for three men was a bit small, but I was not above to change to the two room like the ladies, as the difference in price is only $20/ night,

Rooms- laundry and kitchen, breakfast, service, location. Close to everything. Lots to walk to in a short distance. Rooms had everything we needed and staff was helpful with everything I asked for (recommendations, a birthday cake, taxi, etc.). Breakfast was great, especially made to order options. Had a great time with kids in the pool and hot tubs. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect Accommodation. Friendly staff, spacious and clean rooms with fully equipped kitchen. Breakfast is delicious with western and Chinese options. Location is nice with plenty of coffee shops and restaurants around. Convenient to reach all tourist sites. Especially considering the price this is definitely a perfect hotel for Chengdu.

The hotel is located in a shopping mall. The room is clean and well equipped. The swimming pool and gym is really nice. The staff is super friendly and helpful. There is also a small indoor playground for kids.

The buffet is not recommended. It’s kind of lack of variety.
