The location is great, walking distance to famous shopping area and good restaurants. It feels like a quiet oasis among the busy city center, we felt like going back to home every time walking into the hotel lobby. The room decor is old but classic, nostalgic. The bed is extremely comfortable to sleep in, and the bathroom is nice too. We are very impressed by the nice service in this hotel too, the cleaning lady on our floor (13th) is very heartwarming. She greeted us every time she met us on the corridor, and offer to provide any help if we needed. It was a great stay, we rested very well and would recommend it.

Well-located in the CBD, within easy walking distance of the bountiful shopping markets. The breakfast buffet was quite good. The pool was a pleasant respite from the heat & humidity outside.

Our booking was last-minute, and even though our 2 rooms were on the same floor, they were at the rear side of the hotel at quite low level, so had unflattering views of old building roofs. The receptionist seemed a little inexperienced and charged the deposit instead of reserving it, requiring us to formally request a refund after our checkout.

We stayed here over New Years Eve and came to Chengdu from Chongqing for a mini-trip. The hotel lobby looked and smelled very good, I want to know what scent they use! The room was a good size for the two of us, the bed was extremely comfortable and the room came equipped with all the facilities you expect; TV, fridge, slippers, robes, bottles of water, toiletries etc. The location is perfect, within walking distance from the centre of Chengdu, lots of restaurants, starbucks, malls such as the famous IFS etc. We got a didi to the panda breeding base very easily and cheaply. We reserved the room which didn't include breakfast, but had no problem popping down to breakfast one morning and paying via a meituan voucher! Great breakfast including both western, continental and chinese breakfast options.

The only thing I would change is that the bathroom had a bathtub with no separate shower, as a taller person, taking a shower in the bath tub was a little awkward, but it was completely fine.

The Hotel is at an amazing location and staffs were nice to try to accomodate our needs: we’re assigned to smoking permitted floor when arrived, but after our complain, they managed to offer a different room (during our stay, the hotel was full, so they gave us a free upgrade).

Hotel is a little outdated. With the size of bed they have, I’d say max 2 adults per room. (Their facility did not allow them adding any additional beds to the room/ the “double bed” were two small even for two women.)

Excellent value. Good linen and comfortable beds. Rooms a decent size. Many bottles of free water in room. Good restaurants and bars a short walk away. Staff were competent and the cleaning service was very good.

The room was too hot for me. My room heating control seemed to make no difference even after I turned it off for three days in the middle of winter. The corridor outside was like a furnace. It's a bit "tired" (eg wardrobe doors didn't shut properly due to broken hinges) but that is why you pay relatively little, so that's fair enough. Location is central but beware the traffic on the roads around the hotel is usually terrible and it's a bit of a walk to the nearest metro stations (10 - 15 mins) so you may end up cursing the fact it is so central every time you go elsewhere in the city.

Choose to stay at Crowne Plaza hotel, the overall is satisfactory, the lobby is quite large, there is a fountain at the door, see the hotel is an five-star. Check-in manager Xiao Xue is very good, the service is very good, very satisfied, check-out Xiao He help to handle, also very warm.The hotel is very good location, next to Chunxi Road, next to the hotel or Wangfujing these, very convenient to play

The bedding was very comfortable. The location was also quite central, close to pretty much everything.

The central heating system did not allow guests to adjust the strength of the heating. As a result, the room was very stuffy and I had to switch off the heating to be able to fall asleep.

I have had a positive experience at the hotel, especially with the helpful concierge services and the excellent assistance from Doris. I stayed in this hotel before and after my trips to Tibet on mid September 2023.

As far as I can remember nothing I did not like.

Loved the location and the suite. Staff were extra helpful and friendly.

The place looked tired and could do with a new luck of paint and new carpets and furniture. Looked quite old. The coffee mate in the room was out of date.

The staff was amazingly helpful, as a non-Chinese speaker, it was great to have some help when booking activities and taxi. Also, the breakfast and the room were perfect. I’m was very happy with the choice of this hotel. I definitely recommend it. 🥰
