The swimming pool was closed I filtered the info about hotel to find the one with a pool. Eventually, the pool was close till march, which was not mentioned during the booking process.

Location is good, near train station and accessible to shopping and restaurants. There is also a very good restaurant that serves very good dim sum. The reception and porter are very helpful and obliging, they helped with the room changing, as I have forgotten to request for non-smoking room. One exceptional thing, the hotel provides free flow drinking water in bottles.

Book direct with the hotel if your travelling plan is subjected to change. My friend in Guangzhou decided to do a 1-night stay in a hot spring hotel on the last day, so I wanted to push my check out date one day earlier. The hotel is agreeable but we could not get agreement from Booking.com.

The manager Mia Cai was exceptional. Initially unhappy with the Business room I had, was moved into a Deluxe room which I adored throughout my 5 night stay here. Mia ensured that I was incredibly well looked after. She maintained constant contact and responded promptly to feedback given. Truly an asset to the business with an understanding of the intricacies that come with hospitality. I’ve stayed at this property a few times in the past and been slightly underwhelmed however is now my hotel of choice thanks to Mia’s care and attention. Looking forward to seeing you again soon.

Not much by way of vegetarian food options - infact only chips and spring rolls on the room service menu!! I was charged for breaking a glass in my hotel room - bizarre!!

Baiyun Hotel is having really excellent welcoming staff. Great location. Excellent for Muslims Travellers to find halal food. Al sultan restaurant and MADO Turkish restaurant near by . MALL near by and less than 10 min walk to Arab street.

Lobby has no enough sitting space but they put each flour sitting area with water provided .

Staff at front desk (景鸿) was very welcoming and professional while we checked in. He was kind to offer an upgrade to the upper floor because my extended stay. Great location. Helpful staff. Good interior for the renovated floors

Lobby can be a little busy sometimes but unavoidable given it’s a popular hotel

For us the location is perfect. On the floors we were on the rooms are looking tired and need to be updated as some have already been updated on some floors. Breakfast is not great for a 5* hotel but is adequate.

there is no area to entertain guests at the lobby. There is a coffee lounge on the 2nd floor but never anyone serving.

The hotel has been stayed in more than once, and every time spent at the hotel was pleasant and comfortable. The room was clean, and the access to the metro was easy, making transportation convenient. The hotel staff were cooperative and welcoming, especially the employee named Leon chan, who was very helpful and welcoming to all guests. He was truly a reason to return to the hotel.

Location is in the center. Near is a big shopping center. Rooms are little old, but they have always been really clean. Only minus is, that beds are hard. Breakfast is good with some western preferences also. Coffee is very good. Many reataurants in hotel. Hotel is safe and clean.

Beds could be softer.

The wifi is not good for a five stars hotel.Everywhere you don't have wifi in the hotel. The varieties of food for breakfast has been reduced compare before covid.
