It was a wonderful experience. The room itself was comfortable and well-appointed, with all the amenities you would expect from a Marriott property. The bed was particularly cozy, providing a great night's sleep after a long day of exploring the city.

The absence of a smart TV in the room. In this digital age, having the ability to stream content directly from personal devices or access popular streaming platforms would have been a convenient addition. While the standard TV provided a decent range of channels, the inclusion of a smart TV would have added a more personalized touch to the in-room entertainment options.

Room is clean and spacious, robe is great for going to the pool for a swim. Convenient location with shopping right next door. Great breakfast.

Extensive use of marbles floors is slippery when wet. Even the swimming pool has marble floors, although rubber mats are placed on the floor in the pool area, the uncovered areas are still very slippery. Shower stall leaks a little at the corner. But then I haven't seem a shower stall in a hotel that doesn't leak yet. Very common issue even with a great hotel. There is a short stair case that leads to the parking, the stair case is quite narrow and half if it has a wooden ramp. The ramp is quite steep, it is more difficult to pull the luggage up the ramp than lifting up the stairs.

The location is very good. It is next to big shaping malls and convenient to connect to public railways. The room is spacious. The bed is comfortable. The water pressure for shower is very good. The bath tub is marvellous. The air conditioning and ventilation is good too.

The decor is a bit old style though it is clean. The pillows are too soft and flat. There seems to be a discrepancy in the price as quoted by booking.com. It’s a bit pricy. My room is quoted for HK$25xx but finally I have to pay ¥ 27xx for two nights.

The Hotel is in an awesome location.It is in proximity to malls, restaurants, etc. The Grandview Mall Aquarium which is a must visit is right behind the hotel.Families love this place.The room was clean and bed was comfortable.Quality bedding.Breakfast had a wide variety and the lay out of the restaurant was beautiful.We had an upgrade to our room. If you want to eat in an American restuarant, drive to 13 Factories which is somewhere behind the American Embassy for good sirloin steak. cajun fries etc. I mean homemade food.

My mood was messed up during breakfast when I heard one of the noodle serving chefs pass a racist comment about me being black.It was an unbelievable moment for me in such a reputable International Hotel as Marriott.I immediately reported this to the female Manager on duty.I don't know how far they dealt with this. This chef needs to have a reorientation of working in an International Hotel.For now, he is fit for a local Chinese restaurant but not suitable for an International Hotel.He may embarass other customers who are black.

Excellent service at executive lounge and breakfast place. Front desk was very courteous and helpful. Hotel location was very strategic for food and shopping.

Since we had access to executive lounge with free flow of drinks, the mini bar in our suite should be free as well.

The stuff was very nice and helpful. The location is one of the best in Guangzhou city thanks to the shopping center and restaurants nearby.

It is a little bit old, especially the lobby area. The room had a bad smell, but I got used to it after 1 day.

Next to a great mall, great are to walk around. Easy to get a cab. Staff is super accommodating. Everything was easier thanks to them.

Great location. Very spacious and comfortable room with separate bath and shower.. The breakfast was very tasty with a great selection of dishes. I checked in late and the staff very extremely helpful.

Everything was just fine. I struggled to work the coffee machine in the room.

Room was super clean and well equipped, with a comfortable bed, a separate working zone, ceiling-to-floor window, a very good air con. The staff was very attentive. The gym has all essential machines and free weights. The breakfast was really good.

Although everything was very nice, no doubt, but still it felt like a well equipped 4* hotel, I was hoping that a 5* hotel would provide something very special, something memorable. Maybe this comes only with top ranked rooms. The level of English of some staff was a bit disappointing. The location is very central, no doubt, but as a result there were serious traffic jams at the hotel entrance. Waiting for almost 20 min for a taxi booked on Baidu to cover just 500 m to pick me up was an unpleasant experience.

Over all it was exceptional, very good breakfast, highly recommended this hotel, excellent location
