The hotel looks quite impressive when we talked in, very peaceful. the staff were very helpful and friendly, we had a late checked in, they helped us with luggages and explained things well. breakfasts were really good, had lots of choice mix of western and Asian food. Easy access to a very quite beach which just the end of the hotel and they offered free photo shooting with 5 free pictures. the hotel is just next to the 68 food hall where has lots of restaurants.

both restaurants within the hotel were very over priced as well as the spa.

I liked private pool it was so nice. Room was big. They gave us extra bed without problem. Staff service was good.

I ordered private pool inflatable flamingo 48 hours. But they give it to me. I’m very disappointed that I couldn’t give my son what he wanted. I saw my next room had flamingo without guest. Even though, my birthday happened during my stay in this 5 star hotel they didn’t give me anything. Even 4 star hotel give paper greetings. This is small gesture.

We loved the property itself. Very peaceful and almost a great escape! I liked the walks in the gardens; the view from our room. That the staff (tried) to meet our needs.

So many things as you can see in the photos my suite was so dirty! Shanghai being opened doesn't explain why I had to have hair in my fridge or food swept under my carpet, cigarette smells in a none smoking room! They managed to clean after I told them. I met with a manager in the club and I pointed out how poor cleanliness is and the floor of the club right where we met was dirty and he took no notice even if i showed him. The hallways and lobby stayed dirty during our stay even if i told them. This is the dirtiest Hyatt I've been too. Nomatter how they try to make up for the next day something else was below expectations. I hope to be back to this beautiful property, but I hope when I do so it is under better management and the hire private cleaning contractors.

Great room, lovely resort, great breakfast options and the lady at the pool bar/grill restaurant was really helpful on a few occasions.

I booked an airport transfer that wasn't there to collect us so we had to make our own way to the hotel. The room I booked (2 double beds to cater for my family) wasn't available when we arrived and were told we could change rooms the next day; offered 1 king or a twin, neither of which sleeps 3 people, no discount offered. Other than that, it's a great hotel and we would stay again.

Very nice staff, good service, nice pools, very good breakfast.

There was some karaoke outside the room every evening.

We had a wonderful stay for the second time in Grand Hyatt Haitang, the staff is very helpful and will fulfill all your needs

Only bad points were maybe a little too many people impacting the overall tidiness of the hotel and the construction outside in front of the breakfast area.

The choice of pools and well maintained grounds, delicious breakfast options and on-site cafe and restaurants. Location close to Atlantis, Waterpark, CDF mall and Arena Mall for a variety of dining choices and to buy groceries supplies.

The rubbish washed up on the beach. But it was removed quickly.

Exceptional service. Starting from Rocky to the rest of the staff at Grand Hyatt that went all out to make our stay at Hyatt an exceptional trip to Sanya. Rocky made huge customer service/ efforts to make our stay a memorable one. Shout out to Maggie, Chris and rest of the Hyatt team. Great breakfast selection. We really enjoyed the food at Pool grill. Overall a wonderful choice for holiday at Sanya.

Two areas that could improve. One is the selection of TV choices lacked English movies such as HBO, Starmovies, Cinemax and etc. Plus not much activities for teenagers/older kids. Howver the overall service and experience made up the these gaps.

The whole place is extremely beautiful, nice garden, different pool areas to facilitate also quite areas etc.

The beach is not well kept, a lot of plastic rubbish in the sand. Also, it is not allowed to swim in the sea - we tried (the notice said ‘at your own risk’) and were ordered out of the water by an employee of the hotel who explained that ‘the government does not allow guests of the hotels to swim in the sea’ and that the hotels are responsible to enforce this rule…. Does not make sense, why should one go to the sea if not to bathe? Even if swimming in the sea is not allowed, the state of the beach - in front of such a nicely kept hotel park - is an utter disgrace. Filled rubbishy bags are piled up at higher levels of the beach, but apparently not collected on a regular basis, plastic and other rubbish on the beach is not regularly removed…..

very good location with shopping mall close to the hotel. you can easily find many different food around. the room is very spacious. facilities are good.

price is high.
