Nice spacious rooms. Breakfast was excellent in terms of variety and taste, coffee was nice. My family all loved staying at Eastern House. It is one of our favourite hotels during our 2 weeks China trip. Restaurant on 3rd floor offers nice reasonably priced lunch of local Xi An dishes. Location was central and very convenient. Love the bottled water fridges next to the lifts where guests can help themselves to as much water as they need.

One of the lift buttons was not working. Other than that hotel was excellent.

Stayed here for a week. Great hotel, spacious room with excellent services from all the staffs although they speak very little English, especially the breakfast ladies. Knowing the breakfast time was ending and we have a toddler, they brought us extra food to pack on the go! (we got the name of the staff in writing shown on photo but unable to pronounce it). This small gesture created a warm atmosphere. The breakfast spread itself was good, intercontinental with minor change in the menu daily. The ladies managing the laundry room were very helpful too with after hour services. New bottled of water were provided in the room daily and free to take near the elevator as well. Its one of the most generous hotels we ever came across! There are plenty of shops and eateries around the hotel. Its within walking distance to Bell tower and the big malls. We have plans to visit Xi An again as we missed some of the activities that we wanted to do so Eastern House gonna be our home again when we back!

Theres constant drainage smell in the toilet but still bearable and fortunately stayed within the toilet room only which was separated from the shower room. The hotel doesn't provide laundry services so you got to do your own in their laundry room which has 2 washing machines and 1 dryer only. The laundry room is locked at 10pm daily to minimise noise and disturbance to guests. It was quite inconvenient if you are going out early morning and back late but if you call the the laundry huntline from the laundry room, the laundry ladies could give suggestions and extra help. Just be aware though, they don't speak English. The laundry room was cloased for renovation on the last day of our stay so hopefully they add more machines and dryers in there.

Well maintained hotel, perfect location to walk to Muslim quarter (10min), good restaurants and a bar street. Room was good, clean and warm for the cold weather. Staff was great especially at the Taste Tang restaurant, they always greeted us, always glad to see us at breakfast, went over and beyond with service. We planned a dinner there for our last night and the chef himself came to talk to us. Breakfast food was good too.

Some guests smoked in the lobby and even at lift lobbies on the room floors. I also wished there were English channels on TV but I could only find one which was the news channel.

I have traveled to many countries, so I have a feeling for which hotels are good. This hotel is a rare good hotel. All the staff are willing to help. It is located in the ancient castle of Xi'an, near the south gate. It takes about 10 minutes by walk from Zhonglou(Bell tower) Station on Subway Line 2. About 10 minutes walk to many tourist attractions. Many restaurants and supermarkets around. It is very quiet at night, so good place to sleep well. Highly recommended, you won't regret it.

ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING !!! The greatest budget price hotel I have ever stayed in for over 10yrs of solo travelling I couldn't believe the price I paid for 4x nights was only $329 AUD (CNY 1,535) Answered a few questions ahead of my arrival in a prompt time to facilitate the experience even better Upon arrival the staff was very polite - no issue on checking in or out 5-10min walk from metro and major tourist attractions Room was very modern and up to par w higher quality hotels that charge far more on price Room and bathroom was elegant and delightful to walk in every time The bed was extremely comfy and relaxing The view was pleasant when the garden lights lit up during night I hope many others stay at this hotel and have the same experience as I did

Great hotel: modern, comfortable, clean. Wish we stayed more than one night. Especially because Xi’an has more to offer than just a Terracotta Army trip. Location is also great and at walking distance from both the Southern part of city walls and gate and the bell tower square and the main must-see pagodas. The atmosphere of this beautiful city is great and the hotel quality does justice to the place. It was perhaps one of the best price vs quality stays ever experienced.

Perhaps for breakfast they could have more variety on the intercontinental side as they have for the Chinese breakfast. One tip: the property is not located exactly well on Google maps (you can be directed 500 meters away) so we had some trouble locating the entrance once back from dinner. The entrance is not very obvious.

The room was of a good size, very comfortable and everything was very clean, and it had all the items we needed. The hotel premise looks new and clean. The staff is very courteous and very attentive. Housing keeping was good and responsive.The hotel stationed 2 concierges near the reception desk and they are super helpful. One of them, Xiao Xiang helped me to set up my Meituan and this enable me to order outside food delivery anytime which was awesome, so convenient. The location is convenient, near the Bell and Drum towers (5 mins walk) and other attractions.

Room 1211 . Location. Walking distance to Bell Tower and Drum Tower. Nice room. Big comfortable bed. Excellent service from the housekeeping staff at level 12. Her name is 张亚芹. Besides doing a good job cleaning and tidying our room, she was very kind and caring. Knowing my husband was not feeling too well, she gave me neck warm patch for him to keep warm. Breakfast selections are good. Excellent service from the breakfast restaurant catering department ,尹改利. She was very attentive and has excellent service. She went above and beyond to ensure we are having a good breakfast and enjoying our breakfast. And she also kept checking if we need any assistance. Another lovely and helpful staff your hotel should be proud of. Both staff deserve recognition from the management.

The hotel is situated at the center of the city so it's very convenient for food, groceries and shopping. The hotel is also near many tourist attractions. The hotel rooms are very spacious and clean, they also offer free water. The hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful, their services are top-notch. Moreover the restaurant on the 3rd floor serves almost all the delicacy of Xi An and they are all very delicious. They also sell many food souvenir that cost lower that the souvenir outside. This hotel is worth every money spent.

One of my favourite hotels. The decor and lighting is dark and subdued but do not be put off. It is used by companies to house small parties of european and US visitors, and with good reason. The rooms are terrific and the hotel has an excellent restaurant serving a wide variety of local dishes, with an extensive menu containing descriptions in english and high quality artwork. The staff there speak little english but provide some of the best service I have received anywhere. Their attention to detail is superb and they are great fun. I was genuinely sad to leave.
