Hotel Boyeros

Everything was great, we loved how fresh the hotel is, from the combination of trees throughout the property, the pool in the middle of the courtyard and the layout of the hotel creating a noticeable drop in temperature from the heat in Liberia in this time of the year. It was a great place to get away for the week, and there are great restaurants around, we highly recommend eating at Sabor Porteño for dinner, the food was amazing and fairly priced for the quality of food you receive. The following morning we had the included breakfast which was great as well. For lunch we ate at Foodnication, another great find. The value of this hotel is amazing, a great place to stop at if you're in Costa Rica, or if you're just looking to get away for a weekend and you're already down here. Looking forward to coming back.

Please powerwash or retile the slide, everything else was great. We would have used it if it werent for its appearance.

Nice location and pool and breakfast. Lots of restaurants within a block. Big room, big bed, nice balcony overlooking pool and nice landscaping. We used this as a transition to the airport and that worked well ... It's a few feet from the Santa Rosa Shopping Center which is a stop on the bus from Tamarindo so you can go practically door to door from Tamarindo for about $4 and see some of Costa Rica from the bus ...then an Uber to the airport next day is about $13 (or you could take the bus back to the airport of course for much less).

I think every place we stayed in Costa Rica had a plumbing issue of some sort ... Here the hot water went out for several hours, toilet seat bolt cover was missing... But this is minor stuff. Staff was not particularly friendly but efficient.

Located right across from a mini mall, a variety of fast food chains/restaurants, and within walking distance to central Liberia. Felt safe + comfortable for the night. Basic rooms with hot water, balconies that overlook into the lovely pool/ garden area and a nice breakfast with a variety of options. Staff was friendly and helpful. Natalia was exceptionally helpful in responding to emails promptly and helping arrange a taxi from the airport ($25) and a shuttle ($130, 5pax) to Penas Blancas boarder.

It is a three minute walk to the pick-up place for the excursions we did. We were the last ones to be picked up and the first to be dropped off at the end of the day, which was great. Wonderful pool, hot tub and small pool and a great breakfast. Plenty of places to dine nearby and the hotel had a nice restaraunt as well.

Not a lot of hot water, but that was consistent in the 3 places I stayed in Costa Rica.

Breakfast is AMAZING! Close to airport! Family room had sleeping accommodation for 5, plus breakfast and a beautiful courtyard/pool area for an AMAZING price. For one night and in preparation for our flight out of Liberia, this place was great value for money. Everything was clean.

Rooms are not modern or fancy, shower was terrible.

Great pool and hot tub set in a beautiful courtyard. Big, tasty breakfast cooked to order. Staff responded quickly to requests for taxis and towels. Location is perfect for easy access to the walkable part of Liberia, but also quick to the airport. Surrounded by authentic little restaurants so you can certainly avoid the fast food chains if you want. We would go back (and to Liberia) in a heartbeat. It is a singularly non-touristy Costa Rican experience.

Nothing bad honestly. It's older, and sort of a medium-end business hotel so temper expectations. The lower price point meant that there were plenty of guests. But it was great, we loved it. Also the birds around the pool were amazing, including a very large owl.

Safe parking, cool, clean pool and proximity to everything including garage for gas and flat tire! Great breakfast and friendly staff and clean surroundings.Lights out at 10pm, so our room was quiet.

Noise from road but ONLY in front of hotel. Our room was quiet except for AC rumbling outside on the balcony. Earplugs solved the problem!

Room was comfortable, AC worked, Staff were super friendly. Really nice pool and good, hearty breakfast the next morning. Location is across the street from a food mall so lots of easily accessible food options, including a grocery store. We stayed here one night to be close to the airport as we were leaving the next day. Everything was exactly as we expected it to be :)

Nothing. Everything was as we expected.

The pool area was very clean and very comfortable and relaxing with a lot of space. There were a lot of trees and flowers which made it feel like a natural garden. The slide into the pool was also very fun.

The light in our room was burnt out leaving us with only the bedside lamps. We were only there for one night. I’m sure someone would have fixed it timely if we would have asked.

nice staff, spacious room, comfortable bed, decent shower, good breakfast beautiful swimming pool (though we didn’t have a chance to use it) security was great as you need a card to access to the parking area all day as well as the hotel after 6:00pm. walking distance to a city center

if I have to pick one, it is located on a busy street (noise was not an issue)
