The location was beautiful and service was excellent. There are other resorts in the area but Parador wins in terms of its views. It’s easily accessible to the restaurants, especially because we had a car. The servers were excellent and have us prompt service. Andrey was kind enough to bring us a cut mango on the side for breakfast if it was available. Since we had WiFi issues with our initial rooms, management was kind enough to upgrade our rooms to ocean view rooms which was a bonus. We definitely felt taken care of.

We stayed for 5 nights and breakfast was a bit mediocre for the quality of the resort. It was entirely the same every morning with the same fruit options. I was really hoping for mangos during the summer season. If you compare to a Cancun style resort, I would say entertainment was also lacking. The pool was the highlight and luckily there were enough chairs. Also, WiFi was spotty at times and we had connection issues in our initial rooms (we had 2 rooms for our family of 5). We had home renovation projects happening back home, so WiFi connection was critical.

I very much enjoyed my stay in this resort. It has a number of heated pools, fine restaurants, hiking paths and some animals living in the resort or occasionally visiting. Rooms are quite spacious and clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. WI-FI was working perfectly throughout the resort. Finally, the view from certain spots is really spectacular.

Although the resort is very nice, I think it's a little overpriced, as the design of the whole resort seems very outdated, with some buildings looking even strangely cheap, as if they were built last, when the owner ran our of money. Only a facelift of certain parts of the resort would justify such a high price. Also, the road to the resort is in really bad shape but I understand that this is not the fault of the resort.

Everything was excellent -the hotel and its gardens are very beautiful, the room was very spacious and clean, with a fantastic ocean view, excellent breakfast, friendly staff, clean and beautiful swimming pools. You can see a lot of animals and birds around - monkeys, sloths, parrots, iguanas and many others. Very useful free return shuttle to Manuel Antonio Park.

Such a beautiful resort! The main pool has a gorgeous view of the ocean, and is especially magical at sunset. The breakfast included is delicious. Also the monkey trail on the property was full of monkeys! Very cool site to see, but highly recommended walking it in the afternoon when they’re more active.

The sushi restaurant was just ok, and the pricing was high for how much you get. Only negative.

The site was beautiful. The pools were plentiful, clean and a comfortable temperature. The food in the casual restaurant, buffet, bar and pool was very good and enjoyed by all. The pool bar was enjoyed by most of us. The day Monkey Walk trail and the Night Tour allowed us to see sloths, monkeys, birds, and more.

Nothing that was the fault of the property.

This is THE place to stay in Manuel Antonio!Parador is not just a beautiful resort, it’s an oasis of peace and comfort with all the bells and whistles including a friendly attentive staff! Sloths, macaws, monkeys and many other interesting animals can be seen right on property. Randol was an excellent guide who can help you spot them. Deiver made us feel right at home, and checked back every so often to be sure we had anything we needed. There is a full breakfast buffet each morning with a wonderful variety of choices. You will really appreciate the chance to relax in comfort after long, hot days touring in the area!

The only things I lacked were a nice, hot jacuzzi at the pool, and some crispy bacon on the breakfast buffet.

The property was absolutely gorgeous, staff were friendly and the property was super clean.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property but I did wish the staff would have walked around the pool area more to ask if we needed any drinks. Having to get out of the pool and find a person for drinks was a little irritating for how much we were paying for drinks and tips.

The staff were incredible! So friendly and willing to go above and beyond to make our stay a positive experience. We had a great time at the spa and each of our dining experiences. The sushi was a definite highlight, recommend the Tuna Nigiri! We took the shuttle to Manuel Antonio Park and the driver even waited to ensure we got in OK given the park had been closed earlier in the day. Staff went out of their way to ensure that we saw the sloths on the property and knew to take advantage of the happy hour. We really enjoyed the monkey trail and saw more animals at the hotel than we saw at the many national parks we visited throughout Costa Rica during our vacation. To have access to the wildlife right on the property was a wonderful surprise! Literally everyone we interacted with during our stay was sensational; Stuart at check in and check out, Nelson and Stephen at the restaurant -- wish I could remember more names because everyone was great. Despite it raining the entire time we visited, we still had such a memorable time and can't wait to come back -- in dry season lol.

This resort is superb. The staff is amazing, the facilities are maintained in perfect condition, the spa is fabulous and the location and view are stunning. It is possible to have a full vacation without ever leaving the site (but of course, you will because of the amazing attractions of the area). We enjoyed breakfast overlooking the Pacific coast, with monkeys and parrots playing in the trees. The pools are lovely and it's just delightful to sit on the porch and watch the sun set over the ocean. Truly a magical place. One lesson learned--driving and parking is very difficult outside the resort, so it's far easier (and less expensive) to have the Parador arrange an airport shuttle instead of renting a car.

There were plumbing issues in our room (water was tepid, not hot and the toilet handle needed shaking to flush properly) but the excellence in all other aspects (and the fact that cool showers were not a hardship in the high heat) made this a minor aspect.

This was a phenomenal resort. The Staff were all 5 stars, from the front desk, to the restaurant wait staff, to the facility staff - everyone extended absolute Pura Vida! Then there's the actual resort facilities. We seemed to take advantage of it all, from the various restaurants, pickleball courts, nature trails, adult pools and main pool, or just the luxury of our brand new room! Everywhere you ventured seemed to have incredible architecture and effort put in to make each part of the resort a first class experience. And of course, it's proximity to the Manuel Antonio beaches was perfecto!

There was nothing we didn't LOVE!
