The staff members were very helpful and friendly. The room was small, but attractive. The location across from the sea and just outside of oldtown was very convenient. The bed was comfortable and water pressure in the shower was good.

My friends and I suspected that the word "luxury" in the name was an exageration. It was. I wasn't thrilled to have to walk up 3 stories to our room. The "sea view" was limited. Also, I couldn't sleep with our window open because of street noise and an unpleasant smell. If I come back I would probable opt for a larger room in the annex - without a view, but with access to a very nice roof deck.

Location is superb — steps away from both the old town, with its magnificent fortress and dining options next to the sea wall, and the rest of the town, with markets, shops and restaurants. Water taxis are conveniently located around the corner from the hotel. Breakfast is a delicious spectrum of light to substantial — flaky croissants and banana bread to eggs and bacon, in addition to a variety of side dishes. Coffee is excellent! We cannot compliment enough the staff — Teah, Petra, Nino and Noeli provided exemplary service. Their suggestions for restaurants and cafes were spot on and their care and concern for my wife when she was taken ill was much appreciated.

No complaints — the rooms are small but that is to be expected when staying in a historic building in the old part of a centuries-old town. The rooms were clean and well-appointed. Our room had a small balcony which looked out over the plaza, perfect for early morning or late afternoon coffee, yet the room was not noisy as the hotel is tucked away in a “pocket” from the street.

The San Teodoro is a lovely hotel with really helpful staff and fantastic location right next to the ferry port. The resort has some fantastic bars and restaurants and we absolutely loved our time there.

The only criticism, and to be fair the hotel is clearly aware, is that the property (using UK terminology) is a listed building which has prevented any room noise insulation. The hotel provides ear plugs. It wasn't a big deal for us but I can imagine it maybe for some. Our room was advertised as a street view, we didn't have any view or balcony so the shutters remained closed throughout our stay. In saying this, we really loved our time at the hotel.

The hotel is really characterful, very charming. The room was on the small side, but who wants to spend the time in the room. Balcony very cute. Bedding and towels good quality. Staff really lovely and helpful. We didn't hear noise from outside the windows, just the creaky floorboards from the other rooms, which cannot, and should not, be changed for concrete due to conservation of the old building. Korcula Old Town is just lovely

The bathroom was really tiny. Fixtures and fittings were modern, but there was just no space. We think two things could help. (1) a shelf under the mirror to put one's bits and pieces on and (2) if the door opened outwards into the bedroom it would really help the space in the bathroom.

Perfect location - short walk from the ferry and Korcula Old Town. So lovely eating breakfast on the outdoor terrace watching the world go by. Also drinks in the evening on the rooftop terrace was a delight. We stayed in the new building - rooms were beautiful and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful - they arrange for us to do a very large bag of laundry for 50€. Tour office next door, amazing ice cream parlour around the corner and Gaga’s fabulous dress store right by the door into our building.

We had a problem with the air con the first night but it was fixed straightaway the next day. Stairwell in new building a bit noisy. Otherwise it was perfect!

The staff were all so nice. The location is excellent. The parking is a distance from the hotel but you are able to park outside the hotel to unload your baggage. Once we parked the car we didn't use it again until we departed. We took taxis and they were very affordable. There is plenty to do within walking distance of the hotel. Lots of restaurants and shopping. The breakfast was very nice and you sat outside which was great for people watching. Very good coffee! Being an old hotel there is no elevator but the staff was great and took our luggage up to the third floor for us. Very accomodating!

I chose this hotel because the location looked pretty good on the map and it was even better than I imagined. If you are taking the fast ferry from TP or KL the terminal is only a 5 minute walk with suitcases. Being just outside of the old fort was great for grabbing a taxi to explore the other areas of the island and avoiding the congestion of the fort itself when it gets busy. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They recommended a local driver to give us a short tour and stop at some wineries and he was outstanding. We also greatly appreciated the free beach towels we borrowed as it allowed us to keep our own towels dry and clean. One last thing, I was a bit worried when I requested a quiet room and the hotel replied that this wasn't possible due to the heritage status of the building. I somewhat disagree with this as we weren't disturbed by noise at all during our 2 night stay.

I read a previous review complaining about the layout of the bathroom. While I feel the tone was a bit harsh considering the age and historical requirements of the building, there were some very good points. More shelving/hooks in the bathroom would be very helpful as there is very little space for toiletries.

The location is just about as perfect as you can get in Korcula. The staff, Nino in particular was the friendliest and most helpful hotel staff I’ve ever met. Nino gave us tips for locations on the island, he rang his local contacts to get us into busy restaurants and remembered exactly our drinks orders throughout our stay. The room itself (no.7) had a creaky old floor, the steps to the room were creaky and the Venetian blinds were a bit broken, and the bathroom was tiny. But it had great view and was exactly what you’d expect from a period property that has restrictions on how much work can be done to modify the original building. The old style character of the property actually increased our enjoyment of the stay and felt it was absolutely in keeping with the vibe of the whole island.

Absolutely nothing.

The property location was in the center of Old Town Korcula. Close to everything you need. The breakfasts were delicious, air conditioning was cold but the staff is what made our stay five stars. Nino was there for all our needs whether needing a cappuccino or beach towels, he always had a smile and was so kind. While the property is older and there were some issues with the shower flooding the bathroom, it didn't take away from our enjoyment. We would definitely stay again.

Older property, steps were loud in the hallways but this was mentioned to us at check in.

We loved the our visit to the Fabris Inn - right in the heart of Korcula! The staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and we loved sitting outside by the town square. The room was lovely, and the bathroom was large and luxurious (bath products were exceptional).

This is not a criticism but an observation. When we were first given our room, I noticed it was right above the restaurant courtyard which I thought would be noisy. Because the hotel was full, we couldn't change rooms. The good news -- the windows are soundproof and blocked 90% of the conversations from below the room. We slept very well and were not bothered at all by the restaurant.
