Very nice hotel with great location and spectacular sea view. We were accomodated in a room with а sea view even though we had booked a regular room which was a very kind gesture. The breakfast was very tasty. The staff was very polite and helpful.

The beach umbrella and sunbeds in front of the hotel in fact are not free and you should pay an extra cost which was a bit surprising for us.

Loved the view from the hotel room, it was really really extraordinary and beautiful. The rooms were above and beyond comfy, clean and smelled so nice each day, our little daughter loved to smell in the air during our stay. The halfboard meals were fulfilling in the morning and during dinner. The private beach and Opatija famous lady with seagull statue was very close, 10 mins. We loved the inner swimming pool as our little one is only 2 years old and she needed a safer space to enjoy the holiday. I would recommend it to both families and groups and also for myself in case I need some comfy me-time.

The cot for my kid was not prepared in the room beforehand we occupied our room, and I needed to ask the receptionists 3 times during the day to complete this request. I needed to check the booking price vs hotel prices and it turned out that they wanted to charge full adult tax to my kid, that caused the difference btw the 2 bills. My kid wanted to try the fish meals during dinner but they were full of fishbone so she couldn't. We were extracharged for using the private beach of the hotel (25 euros each day) and for using the private parking (20 euros each day).

The rooms facing the sea are large and have beautiful views. The swimming pool was an added bonus. The food in the bar is better than the restaurant.

The buffet meals are similar everything day. rather disappointing. Breakfasts are reasonable and the best meal of the day. The buffet dinner is more of a bun fight when the hotel is full, especially in autumn, when inside eating is preferable, and quite expensive for what you get offered. Parking, if coming by car is a problem, you need to book the hotels 4 spots outside, at a price! No iron in rooms.

We had to change to their sister hotel admiral because the AC didn’t work. At first we weren’t too happy about it but the hotel was very nice and up to date . The staff was very helpful , quick and friendly to resolve the problem .

They offered classes such as yoga etc . Those were extremely poorly executed. Not sure if the teacher has ever done yoga themselves . We also wanted to schedule a couples massage. Scheduled for 9 am . They wrote down 1 person 10 am and told us they couldn’t do 2 people at the same time . It seems like they want to offer a lot but don’t actually have the staff for it .

Location by the sea and room looked out at sea. Easy walk from bus station. Pool looked lovely but I didn't get time to use it. Excellent breakfast. Loved having a bath in our room. Good to have mini frig for water.

Air conditioning not working in the hotel and it was 27 degrees and airless at night, if we opened the window it was really noisy with music and voices from bar underneath. No tea making facility. No soap for bath only gel high up on wall in a dispenser that didn't work. really hard to find hotel as the name Krystal faced the road above canopy and we were walking. the capital K font looked like an H so easy to miss. a sign with hotel name on entry steps or doorway would help.

The hotel is very nice and service is great. Staff is very polite and professional which I value. The sea view from the room was a great surprise and it was just stunning. Breakfast is tasty and offers a good selection of dishes. Access to own beach was the main reason for choosing this hotel. The location of the hotel is excellent.

The rooms, furniture, bathrooms and entire design of the hotel requires refreshment. But it wasn't that disappointing, because the cleanliness of the towels, linen, etc. compensates it. For those who are real foodies, I wouldn't recommend having dinners there. Worth mentioning this hotel seems to be a preferred option for mature people (60 and over), it's just the fact, nothing bad or good about that.

We got a great big room with view over the sea ant the port, beautiful sunsets and great fresh evening air.Comfortably big, good and comfortable beds, good TV section and channels, even small deskroom for work on the computer.Adaptive cleaning services, good change of towels.Meals wide ranged and delicious, nicely served.Beatiful beach with umbrellas for extra charge our without charge at the swimming pool section and terrace. Summary: very well runned and managed hotel.

Slight remark:Since I was travelling with my mother 85 years old with disablity, it would be practical to find a possibility to extend the elevator to reach the beach level with elevator...I know it needs technical alterations, but since the hotel already has a now closed beach level exit, maybe it could be carried out without big building alterations.Now there are plenty of steps to reach the beach, which for healthy persons is not a problem, but for others it can be.

The hotel is located right at the sea front, and our rooms had beautiful views of the Kvarner Bay. Food was delicious, both at breakfast and dinner. The indoor pool is really nice. Very helpful personnel.

The hotel is neither original fin-de-siecle nor modern and fresh - but everything is clean and comfortable, so no negative point, either. In one room, the curtains couldn't fully cover the windows, so that it became very light right after sunrise.

All of the people in the hotel were very kind. They helped with everything. It was very clean. They cleaned even few times per day and I didn't even know when exactly. Very comfortable rooms. Everything was good.

The only thing which I didn't like is that they didn't say that we need to pay for sunbad while checking in. And that if someone cut or injured they don't have anything except of pads to close the cut. Man's in the beach just gave me towel to clean the blood from the leg. So the hotel should think more about emergency kit. Everything else was very good.

This is an old style classic middle European hotel, probably built for turn of the century Austro-Hungarian elite. Our room overlooked the Adriatic towards Rijeka. There was a netted area for swimming at the front of the hotel. A few restaurants around serving Croatian cuisine. Breakfast was ok. Parking was adjacent in an open but locked car park. Opatija is a popular seaside resort.
