Amazing hotel from top to bottom. Very family friendly. Very clean and updated rooms with beauitful paint , recessed and updated lighting. Bathrooms remodeled with walk in showers , beauitful tiles and vanity. In room fridge stocked with juices,soda,beer and wine. The staff went out out their way to make us comfortable without us even having to ask anything , from the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out. The complimentary breakfast is exceptional with amazing food choiced while being hosted in a beauitful high ceiling hall/ball room with 6 beautiful chandeliers setting a very vibrant and happy morning breakfast. The hostesses and chefs present and breakfast always had a smile on their face and were more than happy to make our stay pleasant. You will not be dissatisfied choosing this hotel. It is also in a location where the Lungomare beach and boardwalk/ restaurants are right across the street. For parking we parked at city parking which is located in a lot to the left of the hotel. It cost us about $70 for 4 days but it is worth it due to convenience. You can download app to pay with CC - It will be zone 0

Everything was great!

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and updated. The rooms are well decorated and the bed is very comfortable (firm). Breakfast and dinner were provided and it was a Buffet filled with everything imaginable: salads, soups, cold food, hot food, mimosa and Bloody Mary bar, grill! The hotel faces the sea and is just across the road from the nearest beach.

The only suggestion I have is to make an easier entrance on the rear or side of the building that is accessible. The only entrance is through the beautiful main entrance with a bunch of stairs. Tackling stairs with heavy bags was not fun. The entrance is not accessible for people in a wheelchair.

The Heritage Hotel Imperial - Liburnia is a charming classical hotel in the old style. Facilities are top notch, though just a little tired in places reflecting the hotel's age. (Nothing that detracted from our stay - rather it added to the charm). Staff were all exceptional making us feel like we were VIPs. The included buffet breakfast was delightful, the only downside being it could encourage overeating.

There wasnt anything we did not like. Price while seeming a little high was about on par with other accomodation we stayed at in Croatia, particularly when allowing for the included breakfast.

It's my 2nd stay in this hotel. I am very satisfied with quality of room, staff are great, friendly and helpful. Its my preferable hotel whenever I travel to Opatija. I can only recommend. The location is right in front of seaside with private beach which is great plus for me. I was on lunch break on another 5* hotel in Opatija and I must say that I prefer Heritage much better in terms of food and service.

I love the light renovation touch that preserved many elements of the original hotel. Well-designed, tasteful appointment of the rooms, genuinely great breakfast, including the Bloody Mary station, great American breakfast oštion, health food, and any other breakfast option imaginable. The atmosphere of the hotel is overall nicer than the sum of its parts and reflects the grandness of the past with the nostalgic touch.

Sometimes, awkward room shapes and entrance doors were inserted in the old structure, and due to the light renovation touch, they are not fully representative or logical. I stayed at this property at least a couple of times as I like it very much, yet the otherwise nice bathrooms would always have some worn out or not properly fixed elements.

Great historical building, fantastic selection of food on the buffet, perfect location , parking is behind of the hotel. Mrs Dajana in restaurant was very kind and helpfull.

Hotel is unique and impresive bulding from the end of 19. century. Hotel staff need training to follow the standard of this hotel. Some of them seem disinterested. Try to avoid tooms on the 5th floor, there are not windows at all. First 4 floors especially with the see view looks very nice.

The hotel is simply beautiful. Extremely demanding rooms with modern equipment. The wellness department is one of the best equipped I have come across. The bed is super particularly comfortable and large. The view from the hotel is great! The breakfast satisfies all needs, they also serve blody-mary and mimosa cocktails if someone wishes. The dining room has been preserved in its old splendor. It feels like a classy ballroom. The location of the hotel is very good, it is in the city center, but still not noisy, the beach is a 5-minute walk away. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back!

Parking is expensive, but parking is paid everywhere in the city, so it's not the hotel's fault.

Excellent hotel, close to the beach, restaurants and promenade. Clean and spacy rooms with touch of luxury. Rich breakfast, huge variety of fruits, cereals, and/or classic continental options. Parking available for additional fee, but if you stay one or two nights, you should consider public parking options. Everything was just right, and I will definitelly consider this hotel for my future visits to Rijeka or Opatija.

If youre light sleeper, or just prefer more silent rooms, choose ones away from main street.

The hotel was exceptional the room I stayed in was excellent, the room was a great size and the bathroom exceeded my expectations it was great to have such a large shower especially when traveling in Europe where all other bathrooms and showers are very small. The breakfast available to guests was wonderful as we had a great selection of food to choose from and the staff were very welcoming to all guests.

There was nothing at the hotel that I didn't like, I have no complaints.

The room was spacius and spotless. The breakfast was very rich and with lots of variety. The location is great, just few steps away from the water and shops. The historical building is gorgeus.

The reception area and the lobby are kind of dark, they could do better with some flowers and some more lights here and there. General maintenance of the building could improve (windows, painting on the walls, etc.). Parking is kind of pricey.
