Hotel Parentium Plava Laguna

- Very polite and helpful staff (reception desk always helped us timely with all the requests including lunch boxes for early checkout and calling a cab, as well as super quick fixes in case something wasn't working properly) - Fantastic choice of restaurant level meals at buffet style dinner (we had a half-board option), the breakfasts were very good too, plus you can also sit outdoors at the terrace with a sea view - The place is quiet and great for chill walks near the sea in the pine forest, but can be easily reached from Poreč by a touristic train, boat or taxi - There's a gym that even has some yoga/pilates equipment - Outdoor jacuzzi (warm) and an indoor swimming pool were greatly appreciated in September when the sea and the outdoor swimming pool are not so pleasant to swim in - Every night there was some nice live music performance in the hotel lobby - Fast and free wi-fi connection - Very good water pressure in the shower - Rooms are very well cleaned and have most of the needed amenities - A few good restaurants in the area

- Paid drinks at dinner (including water), but I guess this is to be expected from the resort kind of hotels with a half-board option. I didn't quite like that it complicates the process, because I might not necessarily want to interact with a waiter (find one in case he/she didn't show up when I picked a table), and then wait for the drinks to be brought (by then I might as well finish my meal, and this becomes irrelevant). At breakfast the drinks (water, juices, milk including plant based options, coffee, tea and even sparkling wine are free though) - Coffee taste leaves much to be desired - No iron in the room (you can rent it as well as the ironing board, but it's a paid service)

We Loved the infrastructure, the whole complex, the access, the location, the surroundings, the amenities, and facilities. The staff was always available and had a great service attitude. I was feeling sick the first night, and the staff was so gentle to bring a kettle, tea bags, fresh fruits and dry fruits to our room. That helped me to enjoy my stay even more. Good job guys, I will recommend the hotel to everyone every time. We kept good memories from our stay. Thanks a lot to the hotel staff. Till the next time!

The shower was not 100% clean, you can see the old orange stains in the walls and the floor. The rest was just perfect!

This was a last.mon.com booking and i was not disappointed at all. One of the best hotels I have stayed in, staff amazing helpful, friendly and just lovely people. Great facilities and the best I have slept in months comfy beds and pillows. We did half board and we could not fault breakfast or dinner so much to choose from all so delicious. There was so much room to sit and relax in and outside the hotel and the facilities were plentiful.

it was amazing weather so hot and not expected, our room was very hot so asked to turn on the air con unfortunately was not due to the weather changing back but they came and turned off the heating immediately and we slept with he doors open which helped

I liked all about the hotel - room, breakfast, pools.

The location, beach was not okay with me - hard to go into sea … but very nice to just relax on beachfront.

Professional and friendly staff, especially Mr Leo from the reception desk team, who helped us a lot with an unexpected problem on the last day. We read a lot of positive comments before our arrival and the first impression exceeded our expectations and it remained so until the end. The room was spacious and comfortable and clean. Beds were so comfy. The hotel is located on a small peninsula, in a tranquil setting and amid pine and cypress trees. Sunsets were beautiful to watch. We recommend the hotel and hope to return one day.

All meals are plentiful and there is a great variety in the buffet. Even my vegan wife was happy for 7 straight days. The hotel has great location in a beautiful pinea grove, right on the rocky seashore with showers and leathers/stairs into the water.

Very limited entertainment. Not even a proper table to play cards. Drinks in the lobby with a pianist of varying talent each night. The men's washroom int the lobby (opposite the restaurant) has a cruel spring: if you are no athletic enough to keep it open until you rush out the door, oit will close onto your forearam before you are through.

Amazing place which I would like to visit again. The food was exceptional. 4€ per person for dinner which was full of different choices. Loved every single moment of this stay.

There was nothing bad about this place at all!

We liked the pools very much. The staff was friendly and approachable. Breakfast assortment was excellent, too. We overheard one comment that the hotel was not full at that moment - we are not sure if it was so, but if it was, it made it very comfortable for us, in terms of sun-beds availability, eating sitting areas, etc.

There were three parking lots, and they were full at all times. They are being used by non-guests, too. Yet, the hotel staff solved it well by providing a comfortable solution. We had an issue near the end of our stay. After talking to the manager, all was kindly and respectfully resolved, to the satisfaction of all parties. We are thankful for that.

Very nice hotel, particularly in terms of the comfort and space of the suite reserved, remarkable breakfast (served in a small and more intimist area than the evening buffet), ideal seafront location with plenty of space to relax and 2 large, very pleasant swimming pools (one with a bar!).

Our only regret concerns the evening meal, a set of numerous buffets to allow all the guests to eat, which makes the atmosphere noisy and not very friendly. However, the wide variety of dishes on offer and, above all, their irreproachable quality, are to be commended.

Very well kept and sparkling clean. Professional reception, hardworking restaurant and cleaning staff and helpful pool personnel. Landscape/architectural/interior design. Close to but far enough from the lively Plava Laguna.

The many non-courteous guests who occupied almost all the lounge chairs with towels before breakfast and for hours without being there. This situation downgraded our overall experiences of the otherwise pleasant stay. We wish the hotel would do something about this as other similarly priced hotels could.
