The hotel is very well located, beautiful and organized. The staff was really great, specially the girl who received us (unfortunately I don’t know her name - she‘s very kind!). The room was big, very well decorated and the beds were really comfortable. We asked for extra pillows (my parents are elderly and need them because of sleep apnea), and they provided without problems. The bathroom’s also big and beautiful. Very good towels. The breakfast was perfect, with a lot of options, everything fresh and really delicious.

The shower has a clogged drain and there is a problem probably in the toilet seal, making the bathroom smells bad. The bedroom window is wide and faces the street, so when you open it, everybody can see it inside. On our last night, we opened it for a moment, and a guy, who was smoking at the street, put his face and arms inside our room. We don't know if he was drunk or something like that. We closed the window after this.

Teatro Verdi enjoys an excellent location, at the western end of the old town, which made it a short walk for most of the places we wished to visit as first time tourists at Zadar. It's a boutique property with limited staff, but we came away with a lot of feel good across staff at the front desk and at breakfast. I would particularly wish to mention the very helpful and pleasant Luka at the front desk. The breakfast spread had enough variety, well prepared, and served with a smile.

In the middle of a fully built up precinct, with nothing to look out from your window. Our room on the ground floor overlooking a public lane meant that the curtains had to remain shut at all times. The breakfast area is tiny, though we were lucky not to have to queue up

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Teatro Verdi Boutique Hotel in Zadar, and my experience was simply outstanding. From the moment of booking to checking out, everything went smoothly and efficiently. The room I stayed in was very nice, featuring elegant decor and a cozy atmosphere. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The hotel itself boasts a refined design and a sophisticated ambiance that made me feel truly special during my stay. One of the biggest concerns in any city is finding parking, but the hotel had a secure spot for my car. This really alleviated the stress and allowed me to make the most of my stay in Zadar. The service at the hotel is another aspect worth highlighting. The staff members are extremely friendly and attentive, always ready to help and ensure all our needs are met. The cleanliness of the hotel is impeccable, with everything always well-organized and sanitized. The location of the Teatro Verdi Boutique Hotel is perfect, very central and close to the main tourist attractions in Zadar. This allowed me to easily explore the city on foot. In summary, my stay at the Teatro Verdi Boutique Hotel was an highly recommendable experience. If you are planning a trip to Zadar, do not hesitate to choose this wonderful hotel. You will surely be delighted with the service, comfort and exceptional location.

Excellent hotel with exceptional rooms. The restaurant just next to the hotel serves very good Pizzas, better than what you get in in other restaurants. Many good restaurants which serve varied cuisines are close by. There is also a super market close to the restaurant for any of our urgent daily requirements. All tourist points like the beach, sound organ, solar panel installations etc are within walkable distance. The staff here are very good, helpful and friendly

Unable to recall anything that I did not like

A little gem of a hotel that totally lives up to its 'boutique' description. Lovely room and super en-suite with a fabulous shower. Bathrobes, slippers, toiletries, hairdryer, tea and coffee station, crisp white bedlinen, wooden coat hangers, luggage rack... you name it, it was there. Super location within easy walking distance of all the amazing sites of Zadar, as well as cafes, restaurants and shops. Staff were friendly and helpful - great recommendations for restaurants - and the hotel was super clean, elegantly presented and neat as a pin. Lovely breakfasts too - both the breakfast included in the room rate and also the delicious 'a la carte' options.

I stayed here one night on the 29th of December 2022 during a trip through Dalmatia. The hotel is very well located in the center of Zara within short reach to the town attractions and major sites. The room was very large with a very comfortable bed. It was also smartly furbished. The bathroom was large and comfortable with a new walk-in shower.

Breakfast was served in a very small area which was too much crowded. Food was served as a buffet which was not that rich. Coffee or cappuccino were served by the waiter who was not properly kind.

This was a little gem of a hotel. The room was so comfortable and pleasant to stay in (lovely beds and shower) on our first night near Zadar which is a lovely town. The decor around the hotel added to the pleasure of staying there. Loved it Everyone including breakfast staff was lovely..plenty available at breakfast and as we were leaving early we were provided with a little takeaway breakfast, a nice touch. Even a cheery wave when we departed after only staying one night! So nice

Wonderful small hotel in an incredible location - very very close to airport transfer bus and ferry terminal to our chosen island, which made it an ideal first stop. But also in a really pleasant part of the old town, quiet and calm but 5 mins walk from everywhere, and very close to good restaurants. The staff were tremendous, giving help and advice as we needed it. Nice, good quality breakfast to start the day sitting outside.

Not a problem but all rooms at the time we stayed were on the ground floor, which meant curtains had to be kept shut as the window was next to the alley next to the hotel - but no need to be inside in the day we found as so much to take in.

Was truly the most comfortable stay we had. Maria and the rest of the team were very support in guiding us throughout the city, helping us in booking our tour trip which made it such a smooth stay! Also the location of the hotel is located close to the sea and near to the entrance gates which makes it easy to reach all the nice places around. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay and for treating us like your family ♥️

Booked my own hotel as wanted nicer one as was hubbys birthday. Booked a small boutique hotel in the old town of Zadar called Teatro Verdi boutique hotel. Got for 275 for three nights breakfast included with genius discount on booking.com! This hotel was beautiful a gem, only 12 rooms! So peaceful and welcoming. Staff were super helpful and amazing to deal with. Four minute walk to sea organ (sea plays music and right here is nicest sunset) one minute walk to boats etc. Two minutes walk to cathedral and square with numerous restaurants and pubs. Met other Rory members over there (just by a chance met on first morning) so shared the cost of renting a private boat tour for 3 hours island hopping beautiful little islands, some swimming in clear water from the boat is a must or foot paddling in my case 😂 lovely few beers in the sunshine. Smallest monastery in world built on one island. Guys name who owned the boat was Natico he has just bought his boat and is super proud of it so would be good if he got some trips from Rory members in future. (00 385 97 751 8015 natico boat trips) cuts out middle man booking through agent! He was so chilled and easy going wasn't rushing us off his boat! Worked out 20 euro a head as was six of us on the boat! Highly recommended and weather was fabulous. Second day done Krka national park it was breathtaking took an hour in taxi we paid 1000 kuna(132 euro between four) return and done a two hour loop hiking trail. For park entry we only paid 50 kuna (6.60) in during march) doubles for April as season starts. Just spectacular views here. Croatia is so underrated. It was our first time here! Certainly not our last. If you see a deal for Zadar in future .. grab it🇭🇷
