Perfect location for all attractions and to wander around. Helpful staff.

A torn sheet isn't a nice greeting for a guest. I would prefer the hotel to be totally non-smoking as there were ashtrays on the balconies and sometimes could smell cigarette smoke.

Room was great. Bed was huge. Complimentary wine. There was a complimentary breakfast, nit much but it is a welcome bonus. Everything was clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Even printed my boarding passes. Location was great and there was a car park too. Really a lovely place to stay. Excellent value for money.

Shower leaves a lot to be desired. Really does need updating. My family occupied 3 rooms in total. All the showers were pretty poor. Shower door was only one pane of glass so did not fully close. Tiles are blue mosaic but has heavy built up orangey yellow discolouration everywhere. Whole shower needs ripping out and replacing. Toilet and basins were good. Compact but that didn't matter. This place is great apart from that.

The location is great. Lovely little balcony overlooking the square. Really good sized room. And kept very clean.

We didn't want to watch the TV, but if you did, then it was very small.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Diana with her generous tips. The location was amazing, right next to Saint Lazarus church in a very lively street, at a 5 minute walk from Finikoudes beach. We asked for a quiet room as we're light sleepers, and we got one. The complimentary percolated coffee, as well as the tea and toast were a great touch! They have a daily cleaning service that made our stay very comfortable. We would love to stay there again!

Nothing really big comes to mind, but being a light sleeper I was woken up by the sun early due to the light curtains. This can be resolved by bringing an eye mask though!

The most friendly hotel I have ever visited. For me 6 stars hotel ( Lucia is the best reception girl !!! ) It is not a luxury hotel, it is a temporary home in Larnaca :-) Breakfast is not included but there is a snack bar ( coffee, water, bread, butter, marmelade, fruits and sweets in hotel lounge at all times ). If you want anything else, ask the recepcion, the girls Lucia and Elena will do everything you need ( the iced coffee and homemade cookies were very delicious, Lucia ) Opera hotel is only 5 minutes to the beach, many restaurants, bars and shops around the hotel, the airport bus stop next the hotel. My room was clean, cozy, quiet and with balcony ( without St. Lazarus church view ) Opera Hotel is awesome for independent and open-minded travellers.

Mini breakfast was an unexpected little treat. Coffee was freshly percolated and the tea was proper English tea (Tetleys). The location was amazing, we had a city view balcony. The balcony is small but lovely to sit out on a morning with your drinks and breakfast. All staff including cleaners were awesome. Parking right next door free of charge.

The only thing I would mark this hotel down on was the bathroom. We stayed in room 6 (large room with a very large double and a single bed). The bathroom was tiny, even though the room was massive but the shower tiling and around the doors was filthy with black mold. The tiles were old and badly in need of replacing. Such a shame as the shower did not match the rest of the hotel experience. It wouldn’t stop me booking this hotel again, but I’d probably take a spray bottle of bleach with me next time! Hotel, sort this out and you’re onto a winner.

Great hotel, right in the centre, clean and quiet. Massive double bed. Lovely staff on reception 24/7. Coffee, tea, Madeira cake and toast available 24/7 in the kitchenette; tea, coffee, kettle and fridge in the room. I had Room 11 with a balcony at the back, so I was able to smoke outside. I’ve seen some people say the shower is small, I didn’t find that at all. Overall a lovely place and will stay there again when I’m next in Cyprus

On the second day of our stay we had an accident. Mr. Vasos, the owner of the hotel, came personally to help. Diana, the manager and Lucy, housekeeper could not have been more helpful. They gave us the feeling that they really cared and that the hotel was like a family that bound together to be as helpful as possible. My wife and I are old people, and we shall definitely be going back to stay with them again.

Pretty hotel in a great location for access to local beaches, restaurants, and local attractions. The room was a good size with extra large bed and access to a balcony with seating and a small table. Shower room was clean with good under basin storage. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Because it is quite central and close to bars and restaurants it could be noisy at night. Also the room overlooked an alley where local artisans make furniture etc so there was sometimes noise from machinery quite early in the morning. But it is part of the local soundscape so it depends on tolerance levels whether this will bother you!

Slap bang in the centre of Larnaca, just 5mins walk from the beach, and close to some very nice bars and restaurants, the rooms at this hotel still manage to be quiet (though probably best keep windows closed) The staff were friendly and helpful, with directions to the bus station nearby and recommending a great local restaurant - Militzis. It's a practical/functional place, rather than representing the lap of luxury, but that's just what we needed. The (modest) breakfast/snack bar which was open 24hrs was very handy for us when we checked out super-early to leave for the airport.

Nothing to moan about, as long as you're just after basic, decent accommodation in a superb location.
