Lebay Beach Hotel

As I wanted a relaxing holiday without the crowd, the location was excellent. The beach wasn’t crowded. I could enjoy the sunrise from my balcony. The staff made my stay very special, very attentive, always with a smile, helpful. Everyone at the front desk, waiters and waitresses and the pool boy, who always appeared very fast when I needed a hand with the umbrella. Breakfast had a good variety. Definitely will return soon.

Cleaning in the room definitely needs an improvement, but this didn’t bother my stay at all.

The hotel is right on the beach and has a nice pool. The gym is huge for hotel standards (locals can subscribe as well), and can be used free of charge by hotels guests. The menu at the hotel restaurant includes some vegan options (quite basic but tasty enough). The breakfast buffet has a big selection and it varied from day to day. There is a selection if cereals, fruit/veggies, english breakfast items (baked beans, bacon, mushrooms, baked tomatoes etc.), fresh pancakes/waffles, coffee/tea, different kinds of milk (lactose free, soy, oat, almond), toast, jams, cheese/ham etc. Buffet at dinner (we were half board) was really tasty and different every night. Staff is friendly and helpful!

Some more vegan options at breakfast and dinner (we had half board) would be appreciated. Some days even salads had fish in them.

The hotel is overall very modern and new, all facilities clean, in a perfect condition. I was also lucky to get upgraded to a better room, just as there were spaces and staff was very kind to offer it for free :))) Welcome drink, towels for the pool, sun lounges by the pool were all offered by the hotel. The sea view from a terrace was stunning, especially in the evening, all room facilities were great (exceptionally big bathroom). In addition, cocktails in the bar are delicious, food quite good as well.

Location is not ideal, although one can take a taxi to Larnaca, but generally there are almost no bars / restaurants / other facilities around the hotel. Although hotel restaurant is rather nice, but it gets boring to have the same menu after a day or so. At the same time, there is not so much to do / where to go out in the evening. Breakfast could be a bit more diverse and rich, it somehow looked worse compared to other excellent services provided by the hotel. Sun lounges by the sea are owned by another facility owner, hence, it is paid sparately.

pool was dirty, the water there was not even transparent. The beach is municipal beach and the umbrella costs 7,5€!! Breakfast was pretty small, not much choice. You also would need a socket adapter. The air conditioner was fixed for 24 degrees, no chances to change it, no manual, we clicked all the buttons, nothing worked.

Lebay is a very very good hotel. I have stayed 3 nights there and the stay was perfect. Beautiful comfortable room. Facing the sea. Beautiful stretch of a beach just in front of your eyes. It is a 3 stars hotel and I have seen 5 star hotels in Cyprus that don't come close. And I know as I lead groups in Cyprus. The hotel is modern yet cosy. Breakfast is excellent. The price is a bargain. Bus 425 takes you every 20 min. To larnaca center for 2 euro. A ride os 15 min. Super hotel. Don't think twice.

There was nothing not to like. I was surprised to see they did not even have problem to pack me a breakfast 0500 in the morning so that I do not go to the airport hungry. What can I say. Great job.

Right from start to finish the journey was memorable. we had the same receptionist who checked in and checked us out. the rooms were beach facing, large, comfortable and every member of the team had smiley faces which is so important. Helpful at every question and nothing seemed to be a problem, which is how it should be.

As we were staying for almost 4 days the menu can be limiting but hey, it's least of our problems. Scrambled eggs were on alternative days 😳Why????
